USE YOUR TALENT AND POSSESSION TO SERVE GOD

First lesson: Luke 12:48 "But he that knows not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." Second lesson: Matthew 19:21 "Jesus said to him, if thou wilt be perfect, go and sell what thou hast and give to the poor, and thou shaft have treasure: and come, follow Me". Golden text : Acts. 4.34- 35 ''Neither was there any among them that lacked; for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, and laid them down at the apostles' feet; and distribution was made unto every man according as he need." Brethren, the above texts constitute the theme of this revelation. If you look around, you will realise that all that God created are very good. What we have is what God wants us to live on. This is to show to you that we are all brothers. Whoever tells you that he has no service to render to God is lying. And any person who tells you that he is not a missionary is a liar. Whoever says he is in lack is lying. 1.1 Use your talent in God's service God bestows unto each person according to His Will. But the condition is that to whom He has given much, He requires much from him. Whatever God has given to you, He wants you to serve Him with that- If it is money, you are to serve Him with that; if it is good health, you are to serve Him with that. If it is long life, you have to use that in God's service. If He gives you the spirit, use it to serve Him. If it is a melodious voice, use it to serve Him. If God gives you wisdom, use it in His service. God has given you wisdom, use it in His service. God has given us different gifts so that we may use them in serving Him. If you do not know your gift and hence fail to serve God, you will be beaten with few stripes. But when you know your gift and refuse to use it in God's service, you will be beaten with many stripes. If God gives you plenty of money, use the much to serve Him. The money is not yours. You are only s treasurer, a steward, a storekeeper. If God gives you little money use the little and serve Him. If He gives you in millions, you are to serve Him with the millions. If He gives you billions, you are to serve Him in billions. If you fait to do this,, you will suffer as an unbeliever. 1.2 Give proper accounts of your stewardship If God gives you millions and you serve Him with thousands, you will suffer as an unbeliever. If He gives you billions you serve Him with million, you win suffer as an unbeliever. If He gives you trillion and you serve Him with billions, you will suffer as an unbeliever. If He gives you good hearth in addition to your money, you are to serve Him with both. If He gives you a kingship position in addition to health and money, you are to serve Him with all. Many of you think that when you have given God your money that is enough. If God gives you the gift of vision in addition with money, you are to serve Him with the vision and money. If you are blessed with the gift of preaching in addition to lands and houses, as you preach, donate the land and the houses for the service of God. Heaven and earth and the fullness thereof belong to God. You brought nothing unto the world arid will leave with nothing, This is the fullness of time and He requires from you all that He has bestowed on you for His service at this end of time. Our Lord Jesus Christ told His disciples that the kingdom of heaven is like a man who intends to travel in to a far country. But before the journey, he called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods for safe keeping. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two and to another one; to every man according to his ability. Then he proceeded on the journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with same, and made five more talents. Likewise he that had received two, he also gained two more talents. But the man who had received one talent ungratefully dug the ground and hid his lord's money After a long time, the lord returned and called them to give account of their stewardship. 1.3 Faithful servants shall be rewarded He that received five talents was ruler over many things. The man who had received two talents was also made ruler over many things. But the man who had received one talent went to his master and said he knew he was a hard man who was always reaping where he never sowed. He callously explained that was why he hid away the talent he was given. Then he returned the one talent which he was given. The master, in reaction ordered his servants to take the talent from the wicked servant and give to the servant who had ten talents. The wicked servant was thrown into outer darkness where weeping and gnashing of teeth abound. The same situation applies with those who fail to use God's given gifts in His service. If you claim ownership of them, you are likened to the servant who received the one talent. People ask why it is said that the rich cannot enter into the kingdom of God. The reason is what you have read now. If God bestows much to you, He wants much from you. If you unknowingly fail to use it in serving Him, you will be beaten with few stripes and before long, all the wealth will be taken away from you but you will attribute the loss to juju, mermaid and witchcraft. When you know that all that is given to you come from God and you refuse to use them in serving Him, you will receive greater punishment. This is the cause of the present situation in the world. The Father has come. The Son is here. The Holy Spirit is here. All the angels of God are here; all the prophets of God are here and all the Children of God are here. So all trees, water, fishes, animals, human beings and all the creations of God must serve God. This is the last time. Whoever refuses to serve Him out of ignorance will receive little punishment. He who willingly refuses to serve Him will receive greater punishment That is the reason why this gospel has to be spread throughout the whole world before the end comes. But how shall it be spread when you do not want to use your money, land, wisdom and talents in the service of God? Reexamine the first lesson. First lesson: Luke 12: 48 “But he that knows not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more” 1.4 Gather all resources for a common good Brethren, right now we have millionaires, professors, doctors, lawyers, businessmen, farmers and so on but they are not willing to use their gifts in the service of God. Somebody has a large piece of land but he has no money to develop it; and for this reason, he refuses to give it out for the service of God. Others have money but no land and so they do not give out the money. When you behave like this, you suffer as an unbeliever. Some others, when God reveals any happening to them, because they have nothing to eat due to lack of money, they refuse to tell others what God had revealed to them. As a result of this, they suffer great punishment. God knows no one person can own everything. Thus, to one, He gave in abundance, to another less and to some, other gifts. He has distributed different gifts to all of us and now that He has come to live with man, He wants us to team up and use our resources for the benefit of all so that there may be no lack anywhere. Nigeria cannot succeed on her own if she does not unite with the rest of her neighbours Africa cannot survive on her own if she does not work with other continents. The Western world cannot exist without the rest of the world. Everyone must unite in love because God has come. There are some natural products in Cross River State which are not in Imo State. What is in Anambra State is not found in Rivers State. Now is the time when God has come to unite us in love. Share whatever we have so that there may be peace. It is said that he that gathered much had nothing over and he that gathered little had no lack. God wants equality: Live and let's live. He uses love to rule. He uses peace, truth, mercy, humility, patience and joy in ruling over the world. You have the opportunity of doing something but the other person has not. You should use the opportunity you have in doing that particular thing and this other person will use the means at his disposal in doing another thing. 1.5 Surrender everything in the service of God A spiritual chorus says, "hold fast to what I gave you because in due time I will require it from you" Now that the Father has come, He wants us to use all that He has given to us in His service. In the past generation, there was a certain evangelist called Philip and he had three daughters who were not married. They were all virgins and their duty was to prophesy. In like manner today, do not hinder your wife from serving God, do not obstruct your child, husband or servant from serving God because all of us are His tools. We are all missionaries and every one has his Job. When you tell your wife that you are serving God on her behalf, that is not true. She has her own duty to perform. When you tell your children to stay at home that, you and their mother would serve God on their behalf, what do you expect them to do at home? Do not hinder them because they have their own assignment to perform. This is not the time for anyone to monopolise even a kobo, if you do that you are bringing problems to yourself. The owner of the vineyard has arrived. Surrender everything of His in His service so that there may be peace throughout the world. 1.6 Use your position to serve God You beautiful lady, use your beauty in serving God. You handsome man, use your handsomeness in God's service. You professor and doctor, use your positions to serve God. You orator, go and speak for God because He is the one that taught you. The sister and brother with melodious voices should use the voices to sing to God because He gave that voice. You truthful person, use your truthfulness and serve Him because the time is up. You man of patience, use the patience God has given you and serve Him because the time has come for you to exhibit your patience. Whether it is love, humility or whatever God has given you, surrender all in His service. You are aware that to whom God has given much, He requires much from him. If God has given you the gift of advising others, you are to do it with all your heart and humbly. If He gives you the spirit of hospitality; you are to do it wholeheartedly. If He gives you the ability to be merciful unto others, you should do it with your whole heart. If someone is ignorant of this fact and claims everything as his own, he will receive little punishment. But whoever knows this truth as you have known it today, that nothing belongs to you, right from the hairs of your head to the sole of your feet all belong to the Father; and if you refuse to surrender everything to Him, you will receive greater punishment And as you perish, your blood is upon you. Many people argue that legal practice is not the work of God; but I say that it is. You again say that medical practice is not the work of God. Who told you that a doctor is not doing the work of God? You say that farming is not the work of God; who told you that farming is not the work of God? Whether it is carpentry, bricklaying, driving, whatever profession you can think of, they all belong to God. If you are a governor, you can do the work of God. If you are a minister, a soldier, a millionaire whatever is your position in life, you are to serve God in that capacity. Imagine a governor going to preach, every person would listen to him and follow him. If a doctor or a professor goes about preaching the word of God, millions of souls would turn unto God. In the same vein, if a woman turns to serve God, many people will turn unto God Also if children go about preaching the word of God, others will ask themselves: here are children preaching the word of God, what am I doing? Other children would also be converted The same condition applies to a healthy person, even the sick. If a sick man preaches the word of God, others will say "here is a sick man very zealous for the word of God; I also will preach the word of God. That is the call which has been extended to you now. We should join hands together with whatever gift, whatever talent God has given us and do the work of God. No one finger can remove a louse from the head. Do not continue to hide whatever God has given you like Ananias and his wife did. Do not claim anything as your bonafide property. Whatever God has given to you, be it wisdom, love, righteousness, use all in serving God. Do not sit at home and try to get things moving. The things need your presence. In the past, women were denied entrance into the Kingdom of God but have the men succeeded in going in? In the past, it was said if one did not come from a particular tribe or got a particular training, one could not pray. But did they succeed? It was only the house of Aaron who served as priests. If one did not come from there, one could not serve as a priest. Did the house of Aaron succeed? In time past, when one wanted to worship God, one had to pay one's way to Jerusalem. The people did not succeed. In modern times, before one is recognised, one had to go to America to study; the one had to attend university and theological institutions. Have they succeeded? By so doing, God was seriously ridiculed. God became handless and spineless. But now is the time; all hands should be on deck; use whatever God has given you in serving Him. Whoever identifies one person as a man of God and sees another as Satan, such a person is still in darkness. How actually does Satan look like? You may even be Satan as well as God. When you start up trouble now, people will point to you as Satan. If you make peace, people will refer to you as God. One can be a Satan to another and can as well be God. For this reason, God has enjoined us to team up together and work so that all of us may succeed in the service of God. If you have a car or a motor cycle and the other person has not, it is expedient that you carry him in your car and both of you attend to the service of God. If you have a house and I have not one, you are to give me part of your house so that we may successfully serve God. That is what is required here. This is what is meant by missionary work. There is no more time for any person to claim anything, as his. God has come by Himself and everything belongs to Him. Man's refusal to share whatever he has is the cause of all the troubles in the world. People have refused to hand-over what belongs to God to Him. He has come to rule over heaven and earth. Read the second lesson again. Second lesson: Matthew 19:21 "Jesus said to him, if thou wilt be perfect, go and sell what thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure and come. follow Me" 1.7 Strive for perfection Brethren is the above excerpt a parable"? The excerpt is a direct advice from God. This advice is for the whole world You are not to distribute your wealth to the poor and sit down at home You must go along and preach the word of God Others think that when they give a part of their wealth to God, they can relax What about the other part, to whom does it belong? Does it mean that you do not want to be perfect? Whoever wants to be perfect should sell all that he has and distribute to the poor; and he shall have treasure in heaven. He must also follow God. You heard that Ananias and his wife died; what was the cause of their death? It was because, they sold all they had, divided the proceeds into two and brought a part to God. And so you can now see that if you divide your wealth and give Him part, it means you are not yet perfect. The voice from high heaven says that whoever wants to be perfect should sell all that he has and distribute the proceed to the poor and he shall have treasure in heaven; and then follow God. What a delight it would be for a village head, a governor, a king to go about preaching to his subjects, telling them about the ways of God? What a pleasure! But right now, the village head does not go to church, the governor does not go to church, the president does not go to church, the permanent secretary does not go to church. All the important persons of this world sit at home and ask others to pray for them. What are you? Were you not created by God? 1.8 Store your treasures in heaven Rather than for you to distribute your money to the poor, you bank it in Switzerland, America and Britain. You dig the ground and hide some there. Is that what God asks you to do? The world is very foolish. People bank their money, build houses and rent out some. They do all kinds of investment with their money. What did you bring into this world? You brought nothing and it is certain that you will not go with anything. What then is your gain if you do not follow God and do His will? Why did Our Lord Jesus Christ say that the widow who gave a mite had contributed more than all? It is because that was all the woman had in her life but the rest of them had millions at home yet gave one thousand, five thousand and so on. What about the rest at home? It is said in our lesson that to whom God has given much, from him is much required. It is not expected that you hide anything in your bedroom and bring just a part to God. 1.9 Give yourself to Godly services God wants your melodious voice as well as your gift of vision He wants your dreams and your dancing steps. He wants your smiling face, your beauty and perfect shape. God wants everything about you. What are you waiting for? If you are a beautiful one in God's service, because of your beauty, people will be drawn to God. They would wonder why they would not serve God even as you do. And so, would be moved to come to God. If you are also a millionaire people would wonder, if a millionaire with all his money still finds time for the work of God, then there is something more in it; and so they too would come to God. But if you ignore the work of God and concentrate in your business, what actually is your business? Go and sell all that you have and distribute the proceed to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven, then come and follow me. Some people wonder what else is expected of them when they have already built a bethel and paid tithe. Realize now that you are still expected to employ yourself and talent In God's service. Brethren, you now see what is the cause of all the trouble in the world. This is the time of God's glory. The time when His statements have to be fulfilled. Because when the word of God falls to the ground, it breaks mighty rocks and rises to accomplish its purpose. Right now the word of God has risen to accomplish His will. 1.10 All things belong to God How will this work spread if you refuse to surrender all that you have to the service of God? Right here in Nigeria, Liberia, London and in every other part of the world, people are looking for help. You have the means of going to these places but you are not willing to go. Others are willing to go but have not the means yet you refuse to give them the needed assistance. Right now every person has to surrender all that he has. Ghana has sent a letter requesting for the construction of a Pentecostal Centre at the cost of five hundred thousand dollars. Who will bear the burden when what is expected is that each person should contribute whatever he has to meet the cost? All those who know themselves will acknowledge that it is not proper to organise any fund-raising here. You are a millionaire and you donate twenty thousand naira during a fund-raising ceremony. As you do this, your conscience will blame you because you have cheated God. That is why those who know themselves, when they come in here, they understand that everything belongs to God and so should be surrendered in the service of God. You do not have a car to use in the service of God but here is a man who has three cars and enough money which can buy up to twenty cars, and he gives you a thousand naira. Does that help in God's service? That is why it is said that whoever does not know his expectation shall receive few stripes but those who know and refuse to comply with this injunction will be beaten with many stripes because that is deliberate sin. This gospel has been declared openly to the whole world and so you are inexcusable. The heaven is God's throne and the earth. His footstool. Therefore, heaven and earth belong to God and the fullness thereof. What belongs to God belong to His children. This is the fullness of time to use all that one has in serving God, the owner of all things. Whether you are a Moslem, a Buddhist, a Hinduist, a Christian or a necromancer, this is the fullness of time for everyone to serve God. 1.11 The greatest among you is a slave of Christ This condition is for those who will be perfect- If you do not comply, know that you are not yet perfect and you have got yourself to blame. It is said that if we were to search ourselves, God would not judge us but when He judges us, He chastises us that He may not condemn us with the world. When the Philistines captured the Ark from the Israelites, they (the Israelites) became very sad. Before this happened, God had already revealed to Samuel all that was going to happen. That you may see the work of God, the moment the Philistines took the Ark away, they were visited by death. They died to an extent that they did not know what to do. Finally, they returned the Ark to the Israelites and fled. When the Israelites discovered the Ark, Abinadab took the Ark to his house. Because of keeping the Ark, he prospered a great deal. And the news went round that the Ark was in the house of Abinadab and that God had greatly blessed him. Then King David and his subjects prepared themselves and went down to Abinadab's house and took back the Ark amid great jubilation. The law surrounding the Ark was that no person had to pass before the Ark of covenant when it is moved out. But here was the king himself in his royal regalia dancing before the Ark with great joy. In this great joy, one person crossed the Ark, fell down and died. Another woman despisefully looked on king David from her storey building for dancing in public and immediately, she was struck with leprosy. I am telling you that if you are made a king, it means that you are a slave of Christ. If you say that you are a royal highness, your duty is to preach the word of God from house to house. Right now those who are kings do not go out to preach the word of God. They sit on their thrones and are ministered to by servants. The millionaires, the chiefs and the rich do not go; they leave preaching to the poor, while they sit back at home and drink tea. They leave the church for the poor, the widows and the children. 1.12 Time for all creation to glorify God If Pharaoh had a dream and as a king, refused to relay the dream for interpretation, what would have happened to the then world? God requires everything which He has given to you - kingship, wealth, children, wisdom, money or whatever. He wants you to use all your wealth and serve Him: You have heard that a certain person went to the mermaid for money. The mermaid told him that she was preparing to go to church; that he should also do the same. The mermaid told the man whatever he desired can be gotten in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Then the man came here and got baptised. Many go to consult oracles and the oracles would tell them to go the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star because there is no more power with them. That is why you are told that you should surrender whatever you have into the service of God so that you can witness His glory fully. Right now if you go to marry a woman, she will ask you if you are prepared to serve God? If you cannot convince her, she would send you away. And the man will have no alternative than to be baptised and come to serve God. Likewise the man, before he goes to marry a woman, he would ask the woman if she is willing to serve God with him; if not she should give way to another woman who is prepared to serve God. If everybody operates from this stand point, God's glory would be revealed. That is what God wants. God does not tell you to leave your wife, children and degree at home; He wants you to come with everything and serve Him. Recall about Paul the Apostle, when he stood before the Pharisees, he was speaking to them as a brother. When he was among the lawyers, he was speaking as a colleague. In everything, he found a common position with his audience and you can testify to his success. Whether you are a member of ten secret societies, come and serve God. If you are still a member of another church denomination, come and serve God. This is the fullness' of time to serve God. Re-examine the Golden text. Text. Golden text: Acts 4:34-35 "Neither was there any among them that lacked; for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them. and brought the prices of the things that were sold, and laid them down at the apostles' feet, and distribution was made unto every man according as he need”. 1.13 Share your wealth with others You are enjoined to sell all that you have and distribute the proceed to the poor. Is that a parable, a vision or a prophecy? Some people say that they have surrendered themselves to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star but they are struggling to acquire money, land and property. To where do you want to take these things? You pray that God should give you this and that; what do you want to do with them? Have you not heard that as many as had houses and lands sold them and brought the proceeds, and distribution was made unto every man according to the need? Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is not a place where you borrow from Peter and pay to Paul. You want to be a missionary but you come here and ask for money to build a house and educate your children Are you a true missionary? There should be no lack among the children of God because as many as are possessors of lands and or houses should sell them and bring the proceeds for distribution, just as it was in the days of the Apostles' missionary work. Have you now realised why it is said that there was the Holy Spirit and mighty works in the era of the Apostles? They shared all that they had with those who had need. In your case. you have heaps of money in various banks, you have plots of land and estates all over the place, there are five to six boxes of clothes, machines, servants and everything in your house; but you come alone and claim that you have surrendered yourself unto God. Recall the question Peter asked Our Lord Jesus Christ and the answer which the Master gave to him. When Peter asked, "behold we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall be our gain?" Our Lord Jesus Christ replied, "verity, I say unto you that ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man shall sit upon the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone that hath forsaken houses or brethren or sisters, or fathers, or mothers, or wife or children, or lands, for my name's sake. shall receive an hundred fold, and shall inherit everlasting life." 1.14 You gain more when you share with others Now, I am asking you who have come here as a beggar, you who come here to beg for eyes and nose and everything, if you do not forsake anything to serve Him, what will you say on that day? You want Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to send you a parcel. You want God to pay your rents and feed your family. You want Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to do everything for you. When things are made anew, at the regeneration of the Son of Man, what shall be your gain? Because we are told that in the regeneration, ye which have followed me shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or fathers, or mothers, or wife, or children or lands, for my name's sake shall receive a hundredfold and shad inherit everlasting life. Now that you have not forsaken anything. what shall be your gain? Now that you have not done any good thing, what shall be your gain? That is why I tell you that the principles guarding this kingdom is not yet clear to you. You only come here to play. You can deceive yourself but no one can deceive God. Our Lord Jesus Christ told the young man who inquired what he should do to gain God's kingdom, that if he would be perfect, he should go and sell all that he had and distribute the proceed to the poor and he would have treasure in heaven and then come and follow Him. He also assured Peter that all those who have followed Him, and everyone who had forsaken everything shall receive a hundred fold and inherit everlasting life. 1.15 Missionary work requires communism The above entails what is expected of a missionary. A missionary will not fall from the sky. If you do not bring your portion and I contribute mine. how are we going to succeed? We have to bring everything together and share according to people's needs. I have money and I want land where we can build houses. You have land but you cannot develop it yet you refuse to lease it. You say that you cannot joke with that land because you are keeping it for your children. Does that make for a good missionary? You have land and another person has money. When he is asked to bring the money to build houses on the land, he would argue that he wants to educate his children and make some business investment with his money. How then will the missionary work be interesting? You are aware that this kingdom wants to own schools and industries, where do you think these institutions will come from? The money is in the hands of each of us. If we refuse to release the money, how will these things materialise? If somebody has a piece of land and donates, another has money and develops the land, the news will spread around and people will come from far and near to see these wonderful things which Brotherhood has done. For this reason, many people will believe in God. But when you hold fast to what you have yet come here to testify that you have given your heart to God, you are good for nothing. 1.16 Take good care of the need of missionaries Missionary work demands communism. Members own everything in common, nothing belongs to anyone. Like the Roman Catholic priests, they have everything in the parish. And any priest can take any car to wherever he wants. That is why, no matter what you do to a Catholic priest; he will not abandon the profession because there is a sure means of livelihood there. Whether it is God or stick which they worship, that does not bother him because he is sure of his livelihood. Preach as you may that God is here, he will tell you: all is good. The Holy Spirit to do the work is here. He who has the Holy Spirit should take over and every thing should be owned together. Then shall we witness the manifestation of God's glory. That is exactly what I want you all to do. Those who have houses, farms, churches, schools, everyman has got something, bring them all together and share and in a short while, we will see a change in the world. This is a source of salvation to the entire world. All the church denominations are good. Every person is good but now we have to come together and become true missionaries of Christ He is here with us and wants us to unite in love and share everything in common. You are a wealthy man in a church but when you are sick, you consult a necromancer. Why are you in the church? You pray to the sick and he recovers from his sickness but you have no house to dwell in. Your church has no established base. There are no schools or anything that will attract people to it. What will make people to follow you to your church? The prevailing condition here is that you received freely and you should give out freely. You should not charge a kobo for services rendered. But the question is, how can you acquire money if you do not charge money for your service? A person that has that money has not the power to heal and the one who has money is not willing to release his money, how will he have peace? The question we should consider is, if we have such rich spiritual blessings in our midst, is it bad if we share the material things? The answer is NO. We share material things also. 1.17 Share your wealth with missionaries If you are made a partaker of the spiritual gifts, you are indebted to the missionaries for you are expected to share with them your material things. The hospital staffs do not want people to pray for the sick so that they may not be redundant, thereby lose their job. But are they able to heal the sicknesses? And you that advise the sick not to go to hospital, now that he has no faith in spiritual healing, are you going to bestow him with faith? This work is done by faith. He does not believe in God and he thinks that he can only be healed in the hospital. Allow him to go to the hospital. The other person who believes in spiritual healing should come to you. This is how to work as a team. 1.18 Unity of the spirit and flesh What is required of us is unity of the spirit and flesh. In the apostolic time, there was no one in lack neither was there any who owned anything. As many as had houses, land and possession sold and brought the proceeds together for the benefit of all. This is the work of the missionary. All those who have money cannot pray. They have not got the faith to pray because their faith is in their money. And those who are very strong visioners have not the transport to pay their way to attend to their duty. They have no kobo in the house. And those who have the money cannot pray or heal any sick. That is how God has arranged His things so that we may work together. There are those whom God has given the money and they are to bring it and share with those who have the spiritual gifts of visions, healings, prophecy, etc. That is what God wants. He wants us to share everything equally so that there may be no regrets. The spirit and the flesh work in unison. As the spirit works in you, so does the material things - clothes, food, and money complement the work of the spirit in you. If you have not the spirit, the flesh is dead. Conversely without the flesh, the spirit is gone. Both of them are one. It is by separating the flesh from the spirit and concentrating on materialism that has caused the world to fail. It is not expedient that the spiritual man should separate himself with the material. They go hand in hand to benefit each other, provided we know the limits of the flesh. No matter what you have and no matter what you eat, if you have not the spirit, you have no peace and you have no life. On the other hand, even if the spirit performs all the wonders he can do, it lives in a flesh as man. You cannot go naked and hungry and still have peace. You are not a madman to go about nude. That is why, if you appear in a tattered dress to preach to someone, the man will tell his wife to find you some, food so that you may go away. He thinks that you are not of God; else why should God fail to clothe and feed you? And so he does not believe you. No matter what you preach to him, he only regards you as a frustrated man and will only ask the wife to find you some food. On the other hand, if a millionaire is sick and moans in agony, he cannot command his money to save him. That is why, when he is in that sick and desolate condition, you should go to him and give him the spirit. And in reciprocity, he should give you a share of his money. In the end, he is well and you are wealthy. That is the will of God. Brethren, one stroke of the cane is sufficient unto the wise. He who has ears, let him hear.
