Everlasting Gospel
First lesson - 1 Peter 2:6
“Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect; and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.”
Second lesson - Luke 2:34
"And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for the sign which shall be spoken against".
Golden text - John 3:36
"He that believeth on the Son had everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
Although our revelation this morning is a short one, yet it is pregnant with power and is the pivot on which everything revolves. It is often said that a stroke of the cane is enough for the wise. I am revealing this secret because of the impending catastrophe which will beset the world. The theme of this sermon existed from the beginning of the creation.
5.1 Man is justified by faith and not by works
Until today very many people still believe that they will be saved by their own works. You may pay tithe and give alms, but do not forget that there is a rock that will cause people to stumble. If you do not believe on this rock, you have failed. It is said that anybody who believes on Him shall not be confounded. That rock is CHRIST. Upon all the work you do, do you have faith in Christ, and do you believe that He is the Son of God? This belief and faith will show you the position you attain. On the other hand, if you may have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and knowledge of God, but do not believe that Christ is the Son of God, it profits you nothing. And if you have this faith, you have to testify to people. The apostles suffered because they witnessed and confessed that Christ is the Son of God. The testimony of Christ is always likened unto a precipitous mountain and a war-front. But our invulnerability now is due to the fullness of time. All the heavenly and earthly forces, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; angels and saints, have been mobilized for this crusade. The world is in a sorry state and I know that people do not appreciate the intricacies of this time. Our first and second lessons clearly state that the child will cause the fall and rise of many people.
5.2 We are now before judgement throne
People do not also know why Christ is a Judge, and I am going to reveal it to you. Although He did not come to judge the world, and does not judge by His own mouth. Yet He is a judge in that, those who believe in Him are saved but all those who reject Him are condemned. For this reason, I have deep compassion for the world. Many people claim to be church founders who build churches and can prophesy, but fail to know that judgement is at the door. The children of Israel perished because they did not believe in Jesus Christ. Christ does not judge anybody, but if you do not believe in Him you are judged.
Today, the entire world is before the throne of judgement; whether they be children, adults, robbers, murderers, sick people, healthy people, pope, righteous and wicked people. This is revealed to you so that you may be prepared. You are the children of light, and those who walk in the day cannot stumble and fall. People sleep during the night and the world is sleeping now because they are the children of darkness. If you perish today, it is because you do not believe in Christ. The scriptures did not say that you will be saved by righteousness or wealth but by faith. This is a crucial examination and you should ask yourself whether you have faith in Christ. If you do not believe that Christ is the Son of God, you are lost. This should be announced to the whole world that whosoever does not believe that Christ is the Son of God is lost. If you believed that your father who is a Christian will save you or that your building a house for God will save you; you have to discard such vain hope because they will not help you. If you are a visioner, or a prophet who sees Jesus in the dream and eats with Him, but do not believe that He is the Son of God, you are lost. On the other hand, if you had never dreamt of Christ, you have no righteousness, but believe that Jesus is the Son of God, you are saved. He will live in you and give you righteousness.
Remember what happened to the two malefactors who were hanged with Jesus. The one who perished did so because he did not believe in Jesus as the Son of God. But the one who was saved recognized Jesus as the Son of God and reprimanded the hardened criminal for his unbelief. He accepted that they were suffering for their sins, but Jesus who was condemned with them did nothing to warrant His sufferings. Furthermore, he turned to Christ and prayed that He 'should be remembered in Christ's Kingdom. Note that the salvation came immediately; Christ said that from that day the thief would be with Him in paradise.
5.3 Man is saved by faith in Christ Jesus
It is said that a chief corner stone is laid in Zion. Who is this stone other than Christ? Christ is now in the world and all those who believe in Him will not be confounded, whether they are murderers, fornicators or hardened criminals. I do not say that they will be saved, but I am saying that they are already saved. Have you now seen how God had passed in a mysterious way to fulfill His promise? If people had known the scriptures, they would not have condemned the sinners. Christ did not promise to save the righteous, wealthy and educated people and He did not even mention the particular class that would receive salvation. He did not mention any church, nationality or the colour of the skin but placed the key of salvation in one thing; belief in Him.
The scripture asks: “did Israel stumble that they should fall? God forbid: but through their error, salvation should come to the Gentiles.” The error that Israel made was that they called Jesus son of Mary and Joseph and regarded Him as their ordinary brother. Because of this mistaken identity, they failed. Although there was a strong hope of a Messiah in Israel, yet when Jesus came, He was neither known nor accepted as the Saviour. Upon all the personal testimony borne by Jesus on various occasions even to the Samaritan woman that He was the expected Christ, no one believed Him. Instead it provoked strife and hatred among the Jews. There is a great difference between the first and second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His first coming He was assigned to shed His blood as a ransome for our sins and to reveal Himself to the world as Christ. He has come a second time to judge the world. All those who do not believe in Him are condemned in hell fire, but any creature that accepts Him will be saved.
Failure to search the scriptures is your trouble even here in Brotherhood. Abraham was not saved because of works of righteousness. John the Baptist, was saved because he revealed Jesus to Israel as the “Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world”. God did not promise to use the righteousness of two people to save the world. Through the sin of one man, sin entered the world and all suffered. Therefore, through the righteousness of one man, all those who are not righteous but have faith in Him, will be saved. God planned that salvation should come from the righteousness of Christ. If you or I are saved today, it is because of Christ. How will I obtain salvation through Him? Shall I be saved by saying that He is Son of Mary as well as I am? Or will I be saved when I regard Him as a man who has a mother as I have? Or that Jesus raised the dead and I am raising the dead today also? The answer to these questions is 'No'. I shall only be saved if I accept and believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Saviour of all mankind, and that Mary was His mother, and that He is in likeness of man with flesh and blood, although He is God. This is the creed you should believe and learn by heart because the entire world does not understand.
5.4 Adam is Christ
You are now commissioned to go to all parts of the earth and preach asking the people how they regard Christ. From the beginning of the world, God created man and not spirit to rule the world. Was Christ transformed into Adam and did Adam come back to earth as Christ? If Christ was not Adam, who is the Father of Adam and Christ? Had Adam no wife and was the wife created by Adam? The two people, Adam and Eve were all created by God. Adam was the first born while Eve became the second born. This secret, now revealed, should be publicised in the whole world that Adam is Christ and the Son of God. The world suffered because of His mistake, and He was asked to come back and shed His blood for the salvation and remission of the sins of the world. Who should have done this except Him. An adage says that a son who is careful will kill what caused the death of his father, or else the son will suffer as his father, if he is careless.
5.5 Adam’s mistake and failure
The Father gave Adam a wife and children and he failed because of them. When He came back as a sacrificial lamb it was unwise to bring the families during such period of commutation and penance. Only Adam was authorised to rule all the creatures and when Christ came, He received the same authority. This clearly indicates that those of old are here now. The genealogy of Christ can be traced to Adam who is the Son of God. If not because of Adam's sin, Christ would not have suffered. Adam had no father and mother. When he died, he gave to the world a quickening spirit. Flesh came first before the Spirit. When the flesh died the Spirit came. But since it was said that man should rule the world, he has come in the form of a man. So, Adam, the man of the earth, the flesh, came first. He made mistakes and brought sin into the world. When he died, the Spirit came, the same Adam, but a quickening Spirit, to put right the former wrongs and redeem mankind to God.
First lesson - 1 Peter 2 : 6

5.6 A new King is born to rule the world
To whom was the above reference made? God in His loving kindness has given us the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Where is Herod who did not acknowledge the sovereignty of Christ? Where are the Israelites who rejected Him? All those who believe in Christ and accept Him as a King are saved. Do not look for another King or Lord again for there is only one Supreme Ruler. Herod was jealous of his throne and therefore, he feared when he heard of the birth of a new king. As the poor rejoiced and applauded the arrival of Christ and as the Kings bemoaned their dethronement, so it is today.
5.7 Jesus Christ is incarnate again
Peter, an un-educated fisherman and James, a plebeian rejoiced while the lawyers lamented. Educational qualifications, wealth, money, beauty and righteousness have nothing to do with the kingdom of God, but the implicit confidence and belief in Christ that He is the Son of God is what is required. The scripture describes Him as a precious stone laid in Zion and concludes that whosoever believes in Him is saved. Jesus Christ who was received into heaven has now come back with all splendour, majesty and power, in company of the heavenly hosts of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This formidable appearance had shaken the heavens and the earth to the foundations. He does not come to joke. He comes with great power to rule, He has come to stay in the world for ever. His dominion knows no bounds, extending to all realms and kingdoms including both heavens, earth, waters, the sun, moon and stars to everywhere. Anybody who likes to weep should begin now though such endeavour will be a fruitless task and a lost battle. If you like to rejoice, do so with all your might for this is the fullness of time. Use this unique opportunity and save yourselves, and remember the shortcomings of your predecessors. The scripture had already warned you that whosoever blasphemed against the Son of Man would be forgiven, but whosoever blasphemed against the Holy Spirit, would not be forgiven, neither in this world nor in the world to come.
5.8 Heralding the arrival of the Comforter
Brethren, if you search the scriptures diligently, you will know everything about Christ, and eventually you will receive salvation. Before Christ departed, He promised His disciples that He would not leave them comfortless, but would pray the Father to send them another Comforter who would dwell with them forever. The Comforter, He said, would teach them everything, lead them into all truth and remind them what He (Jesus) had taught them. He would not speak of Himself, but whatsoever He shall hear, that would He speak and would show them things to come.
Now, in compliance with this prophecy, I teach you about Jehovah and His Christ and their sovereignty. I am neither an elder, prophet, Jesus nor John but I teach you the truth that whosoever believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He has come back to rule the world, shall be saved. If you still expect that He will descend from the sky, you are damned. If you say that He will come in spirit and that nobody will feel or see Him, you are lost. After Jesus had ascended into the heavens, an angel confirmed that as Jesus had ascended with flesh and blood as a man, so shall He come back to the earth. (Acts1:11)
5.9 Jesus Christ in His second coming shall marry.
You will agree that Christ came the first time to straighten and put aright all the wrongs and ills of the world. He completed the assignment within three years. Nobody killed Him because He willingly surrendered His life to save the world. Therefore, at that juncture, He did not touch any woman because a woman was responsible for His downfall at the beginning. This did not exclude Him from having a wife again. The trouble with the world is ignorance of the scriptures. It was said in the scriptures that all those who had followed Christ, in the regeneration, when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of His glory will also sit upon twelve thrones to judge the world. And all those who had forsaken houses, brethren, sisters, fathers, mothers, wives, children and lands shall receive a hundred fold and shall inherit everlasting life. He promised that the children of God would not suffer again, and that they would be rulers and judges over heaven and earth. He is King of Kings while those who follow Him are Kings. Why should the world still attribute poverty to the children of God instead of royal honours which they rightly deserve.
Brethren, if you joke or boast of your works of righteousness, know that such things will not help you. If you have no faith, pray God to imbue you with it because, without it you are lost. Do not think that your membership in the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star will save you, and do not glory in passing examinations through the grace of God here. Your salvation lies in the belief that Jesus is the Son of God and that He has come back as a man to work among you. If you say that you are healed by medicine and another says that he is healed by God, who glorifies God between you? Which one is better to say, that a tree is king of the world or that a man is king over all creation? You will agree that to attribute any healing power to medicine is disdainful to God, and to worship a man is better than worshipping trees. The world arrogantly claims that they know God but do not worship Him as such. Rather, they worship a house which is built by hands.
Second lesson: Luke 2 : 34
"And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again “of many in Israel; and for the sign which shall be spoken against".
This is the great and controversial rock in Zion. The prophecy was made by Simeon when Christ was a baby.
God uses Christ as a yardstick with which the world is examined and through Him many people fall while others rise. Those who rise are the true believers that Christ is the Son of God while those who fall are the unbelievers who regard Christ as a man and the son of Mary. Such people always imagine when Christ will emerge from the sky, which is very unrealistic and will never materialize.
5.10 The fall of many
Jesus had over five thousand disciples, but that the scripture might be fulfilled, all of them went back leaving the faithful twelve apostles. They were offended when Christ stated in allegory that unless they ate his flesh and drank His blood, they would have no life. Simeon had earlier stated that many would fall while others would rise because of Christ. And even Christ made it clear to them that no man could follow Him except he was called by God. When Jesus saw that only the twelve apostles were left, He asked them whether they would follow the multitude to desert Him. Peter assured Him that they would never forsake Him, and would go no where knowing fully well that He had the words of life and is established beyond all reasonable doubt that He is Christ, the Son of the living God.
5.11 Those who rise through Christ
This lesson should give all of you some food for thought. Imagine an illiterate Peter who is now leading the whole world! The Roman Catholics accept him as their Leader although he came from Bethsaida and not from Rome. Peter's supremacy is neither due to educational attainment, wealth nor that he is a spirit who descended from the sky, but because he confessed that Christ is the Son of God. Because of his faith, he was raised above all others. Are you not aware that in this new kingdom, the twelve apostles constitute the foundation. In the world today, when Christ is preached, mention must be made of Peter although he was not the one who was crucified. Peter was older than Jesus and had a large family, yet he believed and accepted Jesus as Christ and today, he is duly rewarded by being made a pillar in God's kingdom. The statement is now fulfilled which Christ said that. whosoever is afraid to confess Him before men, He would also be ashamed to confess such a man before his Father. When Jesus performed any miracle, he attributed the power to God and not to Himself. Likewise, any healing wrought by Peter was attributed to Jesus. Peter also agreed to suffer and to be imprisoned because of Christ. He was not like you who arrogate all glory to yourselves and boast that you have been given power by God to cure or raise the dead. If you claim to have power to do anything you have no faith, and if you say that the blessings which God has bestowed on you are due to your righteousness and payment of tithe, you have denied Christ openly.
5.12 Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is not Beelzebub.
All those who desert the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS) believe that it is beelzebub; the prince of devils, and that the wonderful works done here are performed by man and not by God. Such blasphemers are lost. Those who stand firm, though they be sinners and believe that the Son of God has come down will enjoy this kingdom. Some people in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star are still sick and poor because they hope that Christ will one day descend from the sky.
This doubt and unbelief is responsible for their tribulations, and such people will not enjoy this kingdom. Other members who believe that Jehovah God and His Christ have come down and are working in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star are vested with power to heal, see vision and do many other wonderful things.
To the outside world, it still remains a mystery the source of the splendour, power, peace and ineffable love which prevail in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. They suspect some extraordinary forces other than God. All those who doubt the Deity in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star have fallen while those who believe have risen. You were told that Judgement will begin in the church and this is the time for that judgement. Christ who is the Judge is also described as a rock in Zion whereby many will fall and rise. All those who call him son of Mary and expect the coming of another Christ are condemned while those who believe in Him as the Son of God are saved. Remember when the disciples of Jesus stopped a man from using the name of Jesus to cast out demon, Jesus asked them not to forbid such a fellow, for all those who believe in His name are for Him. Your work or white robes will not save you. Your salvation depends on your faith in Christ. Do not sympathise with juju doctors or fornicators because you do not know whether they have faith in Christ.
Many of your relations who are outside believe in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star fully, but you who come here speak blasphemous words against God. They always advise you to live and abide by the doctrine and teachings of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and that they believe in them and would come later.
If it were works, Abraham, David, would not be saved. Nicodemus, and Joseph of Arimathea would not have been saved. They believed in Jesus but because of their political status and the law passed by the Jews that whosoever accepted Jesus as Christ must loose their seat in the synagogue, they could not support Him openly. Nevertheless they were saved because of their faith. Do not force people to come to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star so that they may be healed. Do you as a preacher believe in Christ, and if you do not believe, will you be healed or employed? Why are you in Brotherhood and still have no peace at home? The scripture says that he that believes in Him has everlasting life, but he that believes not, the wrath of God abides in Him. A spiritual song says that the faithful will rejoice while the unbelievers will regret. Another song asks you to believe and do His will for no other thing can give you joy.
5.12 The world's problem is not believing in Christ
The trouble with the world is that they do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God. This information should be extended to the entire world and publicised throughout all nations both black and white that they lack peace because they do not accept Christ as Lord and King. If Jesus did not accept and agree that He is Son of God, He would not have had everlasting life. The Pharisees attempted to force Jesus to agree that He was son of Mary, but He insisted that He came from God. It is said that man should know himself, and today, how many people know themselves? If Christ did not know Himself as one who came from above, He would have perished. Although a whole town would come out with threats that He should denounce His claim to Sonship of God, He was unwavering in His faith. He told them plainly that if He denied God He would be a liar and that the works were not done by Him but by God who sent Him. He even witnessed this to Pilate during judgement.
How can you hide what you know to be true? If you conceal the truth for fear, you are lost. John the Baptist confessed that He knew not Jesus, but it was revealed to him that whosoever the spirit will descend on during BAPTISM is the Son of God. The Son of God is not revealed in flesh but spiritually; through dreams and visions. What the apostles preached until death were revealed to them in this way. John the Baptist did not preach that Jesus cured illnesses. If you tell people all that God has revealed to you, the whole world will completely surrender to God. It is said that what is revealed to you in secret should be preached on the housetops. Why do you not go and preach what God has revealed to you. Paul did not know Jesus personally, but Jesus revealed Himself to him in the vision on the way to Damascus and he preached that for the rest of his life.
Golden text: John 3 : 36
"He that believeth on the Son had everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
Go now into the world and preach this text to them and show them that he that believes on the Son of God has everlasting life but he that believes not is inviting the wrath of God to himself. If you claim to know God but reject Christ, you have perished; and if you say that Christ is Son of Mary, you are equally lost. The entire world will perish if they do not believe in Christ.
5.13 Christ is on earth now to rule
There is no other work of God except to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the Judge and the King. You had been waiting for new heaven and new earth where righteousness dwells, and in the Lord's prayer it is requested that the Kingdom of God should come. This kingdom is Christ. It was foretold that Christ would come in glory to live among men. What are you waiting for again?
He will come and rule the whole world and will appoint the believers to rule with Him while those who do not believe will perish. He will not use gun to destroy them, but the golden text will do the work as it says that there is no eternal life for unbelievers but the wrath of God. Do not beg anybody to believe but give him the testimony of your faith. If they accept they are saved. Do not forget that anybody who is ashamed to confess Christ before men, Christ will also be ashamed to confess such a person before God and the holy angels. He advised the disciples that before they go round the world, He would re-appear. Do not boast or rely on your work of righteousness, but in your faith that Jesus Christ is here and is the Son of God.
5.14 Union with Christ
Christ said that if any man loves Him and keeps His commandments, He and His Father will come and abide with him. If you believe that Christ is the Son of God and Judge of the world, Jehovah and His Christ is living in you. You are in union with God and with all those who love Him. If you see a person who loves God, do not ask where you can find God, for what he speaks is God. If you see a person who believes and accepts the fact that Jehovah and His Christ are here, do not joke with him because he is Jehovah, Christ and Holy Spirit.
5.15 Believe that the God the Trinity is incarnate on earth
You are still suffering because of your unbelief. Anybody who does not believe in Christ should know that he is a son of perdition and that he was created for destruction. Any person, church or nation (whether white or black), which does not believe that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are on earth here and working will perish. Let us not doubt again. Your education or wealth will not help you but faith. Tell the world that Christ is a stone which will grind them to powder if He falls on them. Whether you like it or not, He must rule over you. Anybody who rejects Him is in hell. What does it cost you sinners and frail children of dust to believe in Jesus Christ and be saved. It was ordained that you will be saved by grace and not by works which means that only faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is the key to your salvation.
