MAN KNOW THYSELF

First lesson: John 8:14 “Jesus answered unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go: but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go” Second lesson: John 7:28-29. "Then cried Jesus in the temple as taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but He that sent me is true, whom ye know not. But I know Him: for I am from Him, and he hath sent me." Golden Text: John 13:3 "Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came forth from God, and was going to God” Brethren, I cannot say where this gospel comes from. If you do not fear any other thing, fear "name" because "name" works miraculously. Fear the name Christ's Servant, and if you are not a Christ's Servant, pray for yourself. If somebody calls you "Christ's Servant", do not accept, but examine yourself properly if you are really a Christ's Servant. If you are also called a Christ's Student, do not accept but examine yourself because you are the one to determine whether you are a Christ's Student or not. If somebody calls you a Pastor, do not accept. Examine yourself critically whether you are indeed a Pastor or not. If you are called a wonderful prophet do not accept. You should examine yourself because each of us must find out for himself if he is worthy of the name he accepts. Otherwise the name means nothing to you. Have you not heard the authority with which our Lord Jesus Christ overcomes? If you rely on your child, your child does not know where you come from. If you rely on your father, your father may not know where you come from. If you rely on the church, the church may fail to know from where you came. That is why it .is said: "man know thyself.” 5.1 You must know yourself The most important thing is for each of us to know himself. Do not wait for visions to reveal who you are. This statement was made by its author in a very cursory manner, but today the meaning is going to be different from the way it is going to be interpreted. Moses did not know himself. Abraham did not know himself. Since the creation, the first person to know himself was our Lord Jesus Christ. That is why I tell you that if the word of God were to have the beginning and the end, it would be this gospel. The moment you know yourself, you have accomplished everything. You should not be disturbed by what people say, but you should know what you are doing. Our Lord Jesus Christ says I have come in my Father's name and you do not receive me. But if another comes in his own name, him you will rejoice. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts. How can you believe in God, you who seek honour from one another's hands? When you feed someone to his satisfaction, he declares that you are the true God. Is that true? If you give money to someone when he is in difficulty, he will declare that you are Jesus. You are 'witnesses to the fact that none of the disciples who followed our Lord Jesus Christ believed Him. Right from Peter, none of them knew Him. He alone knew Himself. No person in the whole of Jerusalem knew Him, He alone knew Himself. His earthly father, Joseph and Mary, His earthly mother, did not know Him. No person knew who He was. That is the first thing we have to know. Before we can succeed in life, we have to know who we are. Among all of us gathered here, who knows himself? When a man calls you his wife, you smile. Is it true that you are his wife? She calls you darling and moment later you start to fight and she calls your real names and curses you. Where has the darling gone to? Your heart will become troubled; you think how your wife called you darling yesterday, but she is behaving otherwise with you today? Your heart is troubled because you do not know yourself. If you do not know yourself, do you think that another person can know who you are? If somebody does not know himself, he can be sure that no other person can know who he is. If you know yourself, you will know everything, and you will have no problems again. Many of us have been here for ten, twenty, some forty years but up till now, how many of you know yourself. Somebody who is a prophet will come and plead with the Father to change his girdle. Does that show he knows himself? A pastor wants his sash to be changed. An Apostle wants a change of sash. An elder asks for a turban. Does this show that they know themselves? One person says he wants to be a chorister. Another wants to be a Christ's Servant. Another wants to be a Christ's Student. Another wants to be an Elder. From your demand, it means you only want to be. Which of these were you before you came into the world? Since you do not know who you are, that is why you want to be given names, and so you go about as a wanderer, seeking for what and who you are. If you go to one place, and the people call you a prophet and you celebrate with them as a prophet, you go to another place and you are called a Pastor, and you celebrate as a Pastor, you become a prey. When you go to another place, they will call you an Apostle. You continue to wander about like a butterfly. Do you know yourself? Others claim that they have been ordained Pastors. If you are ordained a pastor by another person, who is greater, you who are ordained or the person who ordains you? Or you say that you are ordained an Apostle, you and the person who ordained you an Apostle who is greater? The person who ordained you an Apostle or Pastor is greater than you because any day you misbehave, he will remove you from the post, which means that you are nothing. You can be a Pastor in your church denomination but if you withdraw to another church denomination, you are not recognised there as a pastor. In the same way, you say that you want to be a chief or a king and all the people enthrone you a king. You and the person who made you a king who is greater? When you were born, did you know that you are a chief? When you are made a chief, do you know that you are no longer a chief? 5.2 All events come from heaven and God That is why he said, you who seek honour from one another's hands, how can you do the will of God. Since God created the world, Christ is the only person who does not want honour and glory from man. He came with His own glory. He knows Himself, where He came from and He knows that He is in the Father. That is why He has overcome the world. The thing that is planted and the thing that sprouts up on its own are not the same. That is why when the disciples of John told John that the man whom he baptized was also baptizing people, John said: I have already told you that no man can receive anything except it is given him from above. If you do not know that whatever you are given is from above, then put yourself in fervent prayer. If you are a prophet, you were a prophet right from heaven. No person should make you a prophet. If somebody makes you a prophet, then you do not know yourself. If somebody calls you a son of God because you have given him food to his satisfaction, do not accept such a title because you are not. Whatever you are, you were that right from the day you were born, and you have to know yourself. If you do not know yourself, you are a lost sheep. God makes His covenant individually with each and everyone of us. It is only an individual who knows what he enters into with his God. As long as you do not know what covenant you made with God, you are a wanderer. That explains the situation many of you find yourselves in the world. A Pastor is drinking, he is married to ten wives, he indulges in the preparation of concoctions because he is not sure of himself. He does not know that he is a Pastor. An Elder is married to seven wives, he is drinking, he is telling lies, stealing and indulging in diabolism because he does not know that he is an Elder. You are the one who claims that he is an Elder, but he does not know that he is an Elder. Somebody calls him a Christian, but he is indulging in the preparation of concoctions, he is committing murder, he is stealing and is committing all sins which non Christians do not commit. He will maintain that he is a pure Christian because he does not know that he is not a Christian. If you do not know yourself, sit still and weep because you are a lost sheep. How can you grow up and yet you do not know where you came from and where you are going to? What kind of life are you living? 5.3 Seek all things from God You will see a necromancer today, the next day he is made a reverend. Who made him a reverend? You will see an armed robber today and tomorrow he is made a bishop, who made him a bishop? Do not seek anything from man, seek everything from God. It is said, “man know thyself and thou shalt know all things”. Your wife will not know you. None of your children will know you. Your father who begat you will not know you because he is not God. Your congregation will not know you because they are not God. The inhabitants of the world will not know you because they are not God. The covenant is between you and your Father. The agreement is between you and your Creator. Their own covenant is between them and their God. God says whatever your right hand is doing, your left should not know. When He sends out a prophet, He alone knows that prophet and that prophet knows himself. The prophet who does not know himself faces wretchedness. Brethren, you see what is transpiring in the world. You roam from one place to the other because you do not know yourselves. Who can stand up and declare boldly that he is a prophet? You claim that you were ordained a prophet by somebody. It is God who has to ordain you a prophet, or an Apostle. You are born as a son of God. Whatever it is, you are born with it. No person tells you what you are because no person knows what you are. A man-made prophet, a man-made pastor, a man-made bishop, a man-made Apostle, are what is causing confusion in the world. Man-made Christians are also causing confusion in the world. You claim that your father belongs to a particular church denomination and for that reason you must remain a member of that church. How do you know that you are a member of that particular church denomination? 5.4 Learn from John the Baptist Look at John, his father was a priest ministering in the temple. When John came he did not follow his father because he knew himself. He said, “I indeed baptize with water, but there is one standing in your midst who was before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose, he is preferred before me. He it is who baptizes with fire and the spirit”. John knew himself that is why our Lord Jesus Christ said, of all those who are born of women, there has not risen any greater than John except he who is the least in the Kingdom of heaven. John claimed that he was the voice of one crying in the desert. He was a witness to the truth. He was not the truth. He knew himself. Before he came, he was told that he will not drink, eat or marry and he followed that path accordingly. No person told him who he was. Who baptized John? Who taught him? Who revealed him? It was because he knew himself, he knew his assignment, that was why he said, "I am the voice crying in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord." He came to change the hearts of the people so that they should believe in God. People believed him because his father was a priest and he came from the priestly family. They were convinced that he was the "Christ.” That was why when they asked him if he was the Christ, he said he was not. They asked him why then he baptized with water; He said, I merely baptize with water but there is one here in your midst who is preferred before me, the same baptizes with fire and with the spirit. They asked him: are you that prophet? And he said no. Are you Elijah? He said he was not. Who then are you? He said, “I am the voice crying in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord”. He was, as was written, the fore-runner of Christ. If it were you, you would have impersonated the Christ. And he would have been disgraced as people are being disgraced today. It is not difficult to kill an elephant, the problem is how to carry it from the bush. 5.5 Learn from events around Jesus Christ Brethren, you can realise the downfall of all the inhabitants of the world. The reason is that, none of you knows himself. That is why you live a reprobate life. Why did our Lord Jesus Christ say to them, you both know me, and ye know whence I came but I am telling you that I come from God whom ye know not? Is it not a thing of pity? They professed that they knew Him, that His father was Joseph the carpenter, and His mother was Mary but that when Christ would come, no man would know where He comes from. It was a very disdainful statement which could spur one to commit suicide. But since our Lord Jesus Christ knew Himself, He shouted out and said to them; Do you say of Him whom God has sent that He is carpenter's son? If He did not know Himself such statement could have made Him to err. All of them said that He was the carpenter's son and that He made doors and other things for them. Why listen to Him? When Christ comes no one will know His father or His mother. What greater disgrace is there than this? His own brothers from the same father and mother did not believe Him. They told Him if you do these things go out so that others may see you. His very brothers rejected Him. Where then was He to lean on? If His brothers did not know Him, was it Joseph, an innocent man who was not sexually intimate with Mary, before she became pregnant, who should know Him as the begotten Son of God? He could not make any statement since He was still puzzled of how Jesus came. He only watched the whole drama in silence. He was ready to divorce Mary when the pregnancy was known to him. Is that the person who knows himself? He wanted to divorce Mary secretly so that they could do to her according to the law, but the angel forbade him, telling him to take her back that she was conceived of the Holy Spirit. Could Mary who, when the angel told her that she would be with child and she queried; “how can this thing be since I have no husband”, know that she was the mother of the Son of God and God Himself? You can observe that our Lord Jesus Christ introduced Himself to the whole world through His own teachings and words and yet the world refused to believe Him. But he was not troubled because He knew that He came from God. Even the disciples who walked with Him did not know Him. Philip asked Him to show them the Father. Somebody who was walking with them day and night, and they turned around again and asked Him to show them the Father, and that would satisfy them. When He said that He was going to Jerusalem, and there He would be tortured, and killed, Peter who has been with Him said to Him, “far be it from you that such a thing should happen to you” . Was Peter the person who knew himself? Since it was written that Christ abidest forever, he contemplated that if the man would die, it means that he has followed the wrong person, and all his time with Him would amount to a waste. That was why he said that such a thing should not happen to Him. Vision is like a cinema, in a moment the picture passes away and you cannot remember what it looked like. Otherwise, how would John, who preached Him and revealed Him to the people as the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world, when he was in prison send two of his disciples to ask Him if He was the one who should come or if they were to wait for another. Did John know Him as the Son of God? Brethren, the ways of God elude man. That is why He said; All things are given unto me by my Father. No man knows the Father except ,the Son and no person knows the Son except the Father, and to whomsoever the Son would reveal the Father. If you do not know anything, what are you going to reveal? Look around the world and see if there is any person who knows himself. Our Lord Jesus Christ said "Ye generation of vipers who are evil, how can you speak good words." A good man speaks out of the good treasures of his heart. The evil man, a murderer, a troublemaker, a thief, speaks from the evil that are stored in his heart. He cannot speak anything apart from what is in him. That is why He said: he who is of the earth speaks of the earth, what he sees and what he hears. But he who comes from heaven is above all because he speaks of what he sees above and what he knows, but no man receives his testimony. But those who believe in him set to this seal that his work is wrought in God. Our first lesson will now be read. This gospel is a very wonderful gospel, and an eye-opener. . First lesson: John 8:14 “Jesus answered unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go: but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.” 5.6 Do you know yourself Brethren, this is the beginning and the end of the gospel of God. What can you tell someone if you do not know where you come from? You will speak rubbish. You claim that you are Ibibio, or Yoruba, or Hausa. Is that true? Some claim that they are Europeans and ask if you do not see the colour of their skin? Others claim they are from South Africa, or from East Africa. Are you not a deceiver? Is there any truth in any of these statements? Is there any truth in the statement of the person who argues that our Lord Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, or that He was an Israelite? You always argue that he was an Israelite but is that true? You say that He was born on the 25th December, is it true that He was born on that day? You are preaching about man, and about non-existent things. But whom did Christ bear witness of? He testified of the 'Father because He was in the Father. He lives in the Father and it is the Father who works in Him. All the words of Christ are the words of God. He did not speak of Himself or of any man, He did not speak about the whites or about any set of people. He spoke the word of God alone. If you listen to His words you will know Him and you will also know yourself. He came from the Father and He is the only person who revealed the Father to the whole world. No prophet did it. All the prophets bore witness to Christ, that when He would come, He would teach them about God. That is what He did. He was not told by vision or dream but He knew the Father by Himself because He was from the Father, and He was the Son of God. No whiteman knows God or believes in God. No blackman knows God or believes in God. Who then is going to reveal God to you? Mention the person who is going to teach you the word of God. You say that God helps those who help themselves. How will you help yourself? How does God help you? You say that God made medicines and concoctions and herbs and roots and that Jesus Christ said, he who believes in me shall do the work that I do and greater works than this shall he do because I go unto the Father. 5.7 The mystery of this age Right now people maintain that no person can be like Jesus, no person can do the works He did. Does that mean that you know yourself? Somebody has sat for an examination and has passed. He leaves the papers, both questions and answers for you, all that you will be asked and what you should write in the examination, but you turn round to say that it is a lie. Does it mean that if you study the question paper and asnwer the questions as you are taught in the answer papers you will not pass? Somebody orders something from America and the thing arrives for him. He gives you the address and tells you to place your own order and travels to another place. But you say that until he comes back and places the order for you. Are you not a fool? The address is there with you. Place your order and it will be sent to you. That is why businessmen who order things from abroad hide their papers even from their friends. They know that the moment others pick the address, they will place orders. That is how we earn our living, we hide the source of our prosperity. Tell it to someone and he will go and do exactly. Since it is the Lord Jesus Christ who knows God and God knows Him, He has introduced God to us. He has told us all that God is. God is love, He is truth, and life. No person knew this before our Lord Jesus Christ came. That is why He told His disciples to love one another even as He loved them. Greater love has no man than this, that a man should lay down his life for his friends. If you do what I command you, I do not call you servants again, I call you my friends. Because the servant does not know what his master is doing. A servant cannot put on his master's shirt. A servant cannot eat his master's food. A servant cannot lie on his master's bed. That is insult. But your friend can wear your dress, and you can do everything in common with your friend. He concluded by saying "because I have declared unto you all that I received from my Father, you did not choose me, but I chose you that you may go and bear many fruits, so that your fruits may remain." If you believe and do what He has revealed about God, and abide in God’s will, His promise that you will do greater works than He did will fulfill on you because you are now his friend and God’s son 5.8 The Patriarchs did not know God He came to reveal God. Abraham did not know God. He did not know what God was like. Neither Elijah nor any other person knew God. When Abraham saw an angel he worshipped and said that he had seen God. Who taught him? Throughout the whole world, no person knew God. Who then taught Christ about God? People maintain that even the Lord Jesus died. They argued that He was the Son of Joseph, He was from Israel because they did not know Him. Neither fasting nor prayer can induce you to know God. Our Lord Jesus Christ says no person knows the Son except the Father. And so no person knows the Father except the Son. That is the agreement between you and the Father. If you are a Son you will know yourself. What need do you have for someone to give you a vision? What do you have to do with visions? What do you have to do with man? What do you require from the hands of man? Man is deceitful and false. Right now you profess that you want to preach the word of God, and you ask how much you are going to be paid. Do you preach the word of God for money? Do you know yourself? Do you know from where you came? Do you know where you are going to? Our Lord Jesus says all those who came before Him are thieves and robbers; and the sheep do not hear them. He is the good shepherd; the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. A hireling is not a good shepherd. Because when he sees the wolf coming, he leaves the sheep and flees. He flees because the sheep do not belong to him. Is that not what is found throughout the world? Any person who knows himself knows his assignment right from the day he is born into the world. Forget about being called a son of God, or a prophet. It is you who have to know yourself. The moment you know yourself, there is no greater gift, or vision, or prayer than this. Upon all the names they called Him, they said He was Beelzebub, juju, wizard, a drunkard, He did not bandy words with them because He knew Himself. The moment you know yourself you will not complain at what people may do to you because you are on top of the world. Let our second lesson be read. Listen attentively, you who are unstable as the water. When your wife puts to birth you swear that you will not withdraw from Brotherhood. But when your child is sick, you complain that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star does not love you. And you begin to look for some other place for help. Second lesson: John 7:28-29 "Then cried Jesus in the temples as taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but He that sent me is true, whom ye know not. But I know Him: for I am from Him, and he hath sent me." 5.9 History repeats itself Has history not repeated itself? All of you argue that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is one thing or the other and you will give your different versions of it. But who knows the Leader? Nobody. You murmur and speak evil about Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. You have backslided and have withdrawn from Brotherhood to other church denominations. When things get bad, you come back to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Some have staged a come back about five times. Is that the person who knows himself? The whole of Israel blasphemed that Jesus is Beelzebub, ghost, juju, thief, drunkard, fornicator, necromancer. They accused Him of causing trouble in the whole land. Upon all that He did, He raised the dead and did mighty works, they argued that He used the power of Beelzebub. Did Judas Iscariot know Him? What about the millions of disciples who followed Him, did they know Him? After sometime, they started backsliding saying that the words were too difficult for them to practise. Does that show they knew Him? He multiplied five loaves of bread and two fishes for five thousand men to eat. That number did not include women and children. After eating to their satisfaction, twelve baskets were gathered of the remains. But did they know Him in spite of that wonder? He spoke the word of God that whoever does not eat His flesh and drink His blood cannot be His disciple; and the people started to say to one another, how can we drink His blood and eat His flesh? They left Him one by one until only twelve of them were left. Are those the people who knew Him? He turned to the twelve and asked if they also wanted to go. He had no problem because He knew Himself. Whoever knows himself has no problems because he is on top of everything. When you know yourself you can afford to toy with people. What do you want from man when you have known yourself, where you come from and your own assignment? Is it vision that you are looking for? Is it prophecy? Do you want to raise the dead? Is it money that you want. The final gift is for you to know yourself. He said, did I not choose twelve of you and one of you was a demon? He was talking about Judas Iscariot because He knew him. He knew all of them but they did not know Him. That was why when they made many allegations against Him before Pilate, He did not answer them. Pilate said to Him; have you nothing to say? Do you not hear all that they have spoken against you? What did He have to say when He knew Himself and where He was going to? He only laughed at them. Remember when He said: “I and My Father are one”, the Jews carried knives, stones and clubs to kill Him. He asked them; for which good works do you want to kill me? They said for a good work we stone you not, but that you being a man call yourself the Son of God, thus making yourself equal with God. He said to one, you were lame and I healed you, is that why you want to kill me? He said it was not for that. He said to the other, you were blind and I opened your eyes, is that why you want to kill me? He said it was not for that. All of them said that they did not stone Him for any good work but for the fact that He as a man had made Himself equal with God, thus disgracing God. And He quoted to them: Was it not written in your laws, “I say ye are gods, and sons of the most High? Lo! You say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world that I am blaspheming because I say that I am the Son of God?” The moment you know yourself, you are not afraid of any person. You cannot even see any other thing and so you are very bold. At another time they asked Him, how long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us openly. He said, I have told you already but you do not believe because you are not of my sheep. He does not hide anything from us. The woman of Samaria said to Him that when Christ comes, He will teach them everything. He declared to her, “I that speak to you am He.” The moment you know yourself you are bold. The problem with you is that none of you knows himself. The whole world is floating like oil on water. He told the Israelites, do not think that I will accuse you unto the Father. Moses whom you claim to know is your judge. If you were to believe Moses, you would also believe me because he wrote about me. As long as you did not believe Moses, how will you believe me? 5.10 Leader Olumba Olumba Obu and the world Brethren, upon all that you struggled, I have never told you that I am one thing or the other. The fact remains with me alone. I am not an Elder, or a Christ's Servant, or a prophet. I am nothing. But what about this work? A tree is known by its fruits. If you do not know a tree by its fruits, what else. I know myself and myself knows me. It is said that a wise man sees afar off and takes precaution but the fool waits until it gets to him. Our Lord Jesus Christ who told you that He was Christ, did you know Him? He said, “I am He”. But did you know Him. He went on and declared throughout Israel that He was the one, but did any person believe Him? What else do I want to tell you. You can say what you like. You can preach what you like and you can do what you like. I only look at you because I know myself and myself knows me. Whom have I ever said I am? Have I ever told you? It is said, hold on to what you believe in your heart? People ask, why does this man preach as if He does not see any other person. Whom do I see? Who is there that I should see, tell me? Pray that God may reveal "Obu" to you. Fast and pray so that God may reveal me to you. Our Lord Jesus Christ lived for only thirty-three years on earth but I have doubled that age. But no person knows me. You accuse that I am a ghost, juju, mermaid, Beelzebub. Continue to call me what you wish, but I go one-way because I know where I come from and where I am going to. I know myself and myself knows me. You accuse that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star drinks blood and kills people for ritual. What business have I with such allegations. That is your business. You argue that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has power but the power is not from God. You argue that it is the power of Satan. I have no business with that. What I know is that I know myself and myself knows me. I know where I come and where I go. You also should know where you come from and to where you are going. That is what lies before all of us. Let everyone know himself because you cannot know another person if you do not know yourself. You argue that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star comes from God. That the Leader is Jesus, He is Christ, He is the Saviour, He is spirit, He is God. I have no business there. That is your business. I am not interested. If you go to a place with all your qualification documents, your salary papers and certificates, and you know all that you are, is there any need looking for recommendation from anyone? Do you need any person to recommend you and tell you what you should earn? If you say that you have elevated Olumba, where are you elevating Him to? Do you know Him? If you say that you want to abuse Him, where are you going to debase Him to? You say you are worshipping Him. Where are you worshipping Him? There is no person who sees me or knows me but I know myself. There is no person throughout the entire world who has even dreamt of who I am. But I know myself, and I will not reveal my identity to you. I preach the Father to you and our Lord Jesus Christ whom you disclaim. I am preaching Him to the entire world and you will know Him whether you like it or not. Because when you know Him, you know the Father. He is in the Father and the Father is in Him. There is no other gospel, Jesus Christ is the only gospel. If you wake up to preach another thing, you have gone astray. He is the Mediator of the new covenant. From Genesis to Revelation, He is the central theme. My duty is to reveal him to the whole world as the King of kings and Lord of lords. I have come to preach Him to you day and night till eternity. Let our golden text be read. Golden Text: John 13: 3 "Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came forth from God, and was going to God” 5.11 The Father calls into the kingdom If Sister Mong was brought into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star by someone, if it was not the Father who brought her into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, she would not have stayed here up to a day. She faced many odds in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. There is nothing that has not been done to her. Her family does not embrace Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and even the members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star have refused her. But she is not moved because she is secured in the Father's hands. No matter what you do to her, she will not backslide from Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. She used to be a difficult woman but right from the moment she knew that she was not of the world, she has changed completely. Even if you offend her, she will not retaliate. In your own case you continue to run from one place to the other. But since she knows herself, she is steadfast. All those who know themselves cannot withdraw from Brotherhood to any other place. Man, know thyself so that you can know your assignment. Many people are sure that this is their city. Many others are not yet sure of their whereabouts. Make up your mind today. The moment you know that you are of this Kingdom, nothing will shake you or remove you from this Kingdom. No amount of persecution will deter you. That is the mystery in this Kingdom. It was your mother who took you to the various church denominations. You were born and you grew up there. But here, if the Father does not call you, you cannot come. He calls you alone. He calls you and if you are not a child of his Kingdom, you cannot come. It has been revealed to a great many people right from childhood about this Kingdom. They have been shown people dressed in white and so it is not strange for them to see what is happening. They walk majestically into the Kingdom. If you remind such a person that he or she has not got a child, he will tell you that he did not come with any child into the world. He has nothing to do with money or husband. People start to wonder what I have given to them. I have given them nothing. It is because they know themselves. 5.12 Brotherhood of the Cross and Star members know themselves This gospel is to strengthen your faith, and for those who did not know themselves they should know themselves. The same thing happens to your place of work. You are ready to lose the |ob rather than withdraw from Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. And they think that something has been given to you. What has been given to you? It is because you know yourself. If you give a hundred million naira to a Brotherhood member to agree that their Leader is a wizard, he will tell you, your money perish with you. This shows that you know yourself. If they were ours, they would have continued with us. But they went away from us so that it may be manifested that they are not of us. We have a treasure. We have what surpasses the world. We have cause to rejoice. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star does not rejoice in money. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star worship neither man, nor woman nor food. But what we believe and hold unto is our pride. This confirms the word of Christ when He was asked when the Kingdom of God would come. He said that the Kingdom of God does not come by observation, neither can it be said, to be here, nor lo there. Behold, the Kingdom of God is within you. This fact has eluded man. The husband will ask his wife what important thing she has seen in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star? She cannot name it even though it is there in her heart. Another person will ask you the same question: now that your clothes are wearing out what have you seen in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star which ties you down? You cannot say it even though it is there in your heart? Is that not surprising?
