"And in the days of these kings shall the God of Heaven set up a kingdom -which shall never be destroyed and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever”
Second lesson Revelation: 2I: I-7
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and they shall be no more death", neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And he that sat upon the throne said. Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, write: for these words are true and faithful.
And he said unto me, it is done, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end; I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son."
Golden text Revelation: 7: I3-I7
"And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, what are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence came they?
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, these are they which came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore, neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
For the lamb -which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters and God shall -wipe away all tears from their eyes. "
The above prophecies refer to a great kingdom and God's people. We all have received a calling into a Kingdom. The Holy Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu tells us this everyday. He says we are a very lucky generation, in fact the luckiest generation such that we have been called into this Kingdom. Which Kingdom is He talking about?
I have told you of this Kingdom many times and I want to stress the teaching here. The kingdom you have been called into is Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and in His sermons on this Kingdom, He has taught us thus: Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is not a Church, it is not a denomination, it is not a religion, but all religions are in it. All governments and rulership are in it and subject on to it. He says it is God's new Kingdom on earth and has existed right before the beginning of Creation. It is the Garden of Eden re-assembled by God Himself. God did prophesy through John the Divine, who saw this Kingdom and John spoke of a time when the Kingdom of this earth shall become the Kingdom of Jehovah God and His Christ, and God shall reign for evermore. (Revelation: II:I5). The time has come for the fulfillment.
1.1 The Brotherhood
When God had completed creation, He set up the Brotherhood. The Brotherhood is God Himself, The Christ, The Holy Spirit and all the angels. Brotherhood includes man, woman, fishes, birds, animals, spirit, and all the things created. Brotherhood is owned by God, ruled by God and directed by God. The angels are servants in Brotherhood, human beings, spirits, animals, the sun the moon and everything created are workers in Brotherhood.
Adam the first man was quartered at the Garden of Eden and in the same Garden abode angels, spirits, birds of all kinds, animals of all kinds, fishes of all kinds, and all living things. Adam was put in charge of the Garden of Eden by God to superintend it. Everything in the Garden of Eden was under Adam and was his servant. Love and peace reigned amongst all the creatures in the Garden of Eden.
This peace and harmony reigned until Adam sinned and as a result, the Garden of Eden scattered. Death, suffering and woe entered creation. The Holy Spirit directed man when he was in the Garden, but man lost the direction of the Holy Spirit when he was driven out. Thus he was separated from God from then on and could no longer benefit from God's guidance and light.
1.2 Adam a house for God on earth
Adam was created a mortal, the son of God and a house of God on earth. He had no earthly father or mother. God created him, the first temple for God on earth. He was given the Holy Spirit to guide him. He was not given the ability to consciously use the Holy Spirit on his own. He was to grow spiritually into this ability. Thus he possessed the knowledge of Good only. He was not permitted to eat the fruits of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Unfortunately, Adam disobeyed God and ate of the fruits of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and thus knew both good and evil. He was not spiritually armed to handle the knowledge of Evil and he fell into sin. This knowledge of Evil led him into self-conceitedness, self- aggrandisement, and all manners of self- consciousness to the exclusion of God. He consequently fell away from God and communication with God was cut off. He became completely materialistic and carnal. He became completely sinful.
It was necessary to redeem Adam and his off springs from the state of sin and consequential death that they faced as a result of sin. God worked out a plan.
1.3 The covenant
God still loved man and wanted him saved from his sins and his woes. God made a covenant to redeem man to Himself. This will require a sacrifice to Him. The sacrifice will have to be a pure blood. Abraham attempted to give this sacrifice. He wanted to offer his son Isaac to God.
God rejected the sacrifice. It was not good enough, but God accepted this kind gesture and faith of Abraham and promised to give a sacrifice Himself that will be acceptable to Him.
This sacrifice God did through our Lord Jesus Christ. He sent His Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ to be born of Virgin Mary and He died on the Cross. He gave His blood, a sacrifice for our sins. The price of our sins has been paid and the Garden of Eden re-constituted as it was before with man restored to his former glory with God. Saint Paul sums up the new covenant in Hebrews: 8:I0-I3. Our Lord Jesus Christ did the work of this salvation. He reminded His Father of His glory when He was near completing the work. In (John: I7: I-25). He prayed to His Father to give Him back His Glory that He had with Him before coming. And not just Himself alone, but also to His disciples who believed Him and followed Him and to succeeding believers who will hear of this redeeming blood and accept Him (St. John I7: I-25). Today, brethren, you are back into the Garden of Eden and God has given back the glory He gave your forefather Adam before he sinned, for God has re- constituted the Brotherhood again.
1.4 The Cross, the Star
This Brotherhood re-constituted requires certain tenets from you. This is where you have to bear the Cross. The Cross is not a wooden beam, the type priests of the churches hang around their necks, but accepting one another's problems, accepting the temptations and difficulties we see in our daily lives and subjugating our will to God without complaining so that our lives will manifest only the will of God. This is the Cross and we must accept this Cross. This is so that the Brotherhood thus reconstituted by God, through the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, may continue to be directed by the Holy Spirit to fulfill the will of God that " the Kingdom of this earth has become the Kingdom of Jehovah God and His Christ and He will reign for ever and ever" (Revelation. II:I5).
And when we have successfully carried the Cross, the Star shall be achieved in our lives. The Star is our Lord Jesus Christ. The Star is the glory of God and it is also the glory of Christ. The Star is the revelation of God. The Star indicates the reign and glory of Christ. The Star means the brightness of God and the power of His reign.
1.5 The kingdom: The spiritual school of Practical Christianity
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is also a school. It is Christ Universal School of Practical Christianity. In this school, the subjects studied are spiritual subjects. They are embodied in a main heading: Love. You are to learn this Love and know it, master it and practice it. The Holy Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, preaches on it everyday of the year and every year. It is the foundation of this Kingdom. Nobody will be accepted into God's Kingdom without a mastery of this Love. It is the Tree of Life.
Love itself is fully explained by Saint. Paul in (1 Corinthians I3; I-I3). If you must be in. this Kingdom, if you must inherit the Garden of Eden re- constituted, if you must be a chosen child of God, you must practice LOVE. There is no other way into the Kingdom. In (Galatians: 5: 22-23), we have listed for us some of the subjects that we must pass while in this school. They are called "the fruits of the Spirit". We all come into this school as babies in these subjects. Some of us have a small knowledge of some of the subjects. In this Kingdom, you are to practice these subjects and master them all in your lives. The Holy Spirit is the Teacher in the Kingdom. He is here to lead man to the absolute knowledge of truth. It is this truth and our acceptance of it that will sanctify man. Nobody is allowed to remain in the school forever. For sometime now, the Kingdom is a school, so that the Holy Spirit can, during that time teach us all and change us from sinfulness to righteousness. After this training, judgment will come to all mankind, and those who have not taken their lessons seriously and achieved righteousness will perish. God does not want anybody to perish. This is why He first sent His Son to redeem us, and now the Holy Spirit to teach and change us, and lead us into righteousness. Nobody will enter the Kingdom with any jot of unrighteousness in him or her.
You have therefore, been called into a school, to teach you righteousness and prepare you to inherit the Kingdom of God. It is the will of God that we must all achieve the Christhood of God. The Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is where you are to be prepared by the Holy Spirit, for this Christhood. Only those who possess all the fruits of the spirit (Galatians: 5: 22-23) will receive the Christhood of God. The second Adam, Our Lord Jesus, has made it possible for us to achieve this Christhood and redeemed us from the sins of the first Adam (1st Corinthians: I5: 45-47).
Now that the Garden of Eden is re-constituted and you have been called in by the grace of God, through the salvation of the second Adam, Jesus Our Lord, we must all surrender ourselves to the Holy Spirit to teach us and change us into righteousness.
1.6 We are all priests of God
God has specially prepared Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to be His Kingdom, the Kingdom of the Holy Spirit. It is also the Kingdom of Priests (Revelation: 5:I0). In Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, every baptised member is ordained in spirit to discharge priestly duties. He can baptise others, he can bless others he can heal others, in fact he carries out all priestly duties, whether he is male or female. The ordained ones with turbans are only there to carry out extra administrative functions over all. They are there as supervisors in the Kingdom. So brethren, you can see the high spiritual level of this Kingdom. In other organisations, they need priests to mediate between them and God. Here, you are all priests in spirit, and deal directly with God. This is because all, at baptism, receive the Holy Spirit to guide you. In this kingdom, nobody is given ruler-ship over another. Only the Holy Father rules over all. Even bishops, pastors, elders, have only administrative control over the flock to co-ordinate their activities in evangelism and the spread of the glory of God to all peoples on earth. They cannot punish or judge any member of the fold. They can only advise the wrongdoer and sinner and point out their wrong doings to them and appeal to them to do the right thing henceforth. Everybody is left to the direction of the Holy Spirit to guide, to change and to punish if necessary. Everybody is free to serve God in his own way as his capacity to surrender himself to God provides till God reforms him totally.
1.7 The Kingdom of liberty
The Holy Father says He has come to set all people free. They are to be free from sin; free from domination, by one race over the other, one sex over the other, one person over the other, one political system over the other, one economic system over the other. Everybody must be free completely to serve the Almighty God without any hindrance from any person, or government or system. He says the pace of freedom for all has been enforced in spirit and all persons are already free in spirit. What remains is for them to be free in flesh. This will be accomplished very shortly.
Our Holy Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu says unequivocally that nobody is given or will be given authority to rule over another person unless that person who is to rule possesses and practices love. This love must be immensely full in him. God has paid a very high price for human beings to restore them to the son-ship of God and God will not allow them to be ruled by anybody who does not possess the Holy Spirit. This Holy Spirit will guide such rulers so that they rule in love, peace and harmony. So all those who aspire to ruler ship in this new Kingdom of God must strive strenuously to achieve love immensely in their lives so that the Holy Spirit will guide their rulership. Someday when God will have been revealed on earth, rulership will be given to those who possess love and the Holy Spirit.
1.8 Our Lord Jesus Christ, the first Ruler
The Holy Father says that our Lord Jesus Christ is the first Ruler of the Kingdom of God, which is to be set up on earth. Our Lord Jesus Christ said this Himself to His disciples when He was with them. Again after His resurrection, He confirmed His rulership. "All power is given to me in Heaven and on earth" (Matthew: 28:18) Saint Paul confirms in (1 Corinthians: I5: 22-28) the sequence of ruler ship. The Lord Jesus Christ will rule over all things and subject all things, including death, under His dominion during this His second advent. Then He will hand over ruler-ship of all things thus conquered to His Father, God Almighty, so that God may be all in all.
The Holy Father says Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is that Kingdom of God on earth long awaited, and for which our Lord Jesus Christ shed His Blood. With His Blood, He redeemed us from sin and consequential death. He rules this Kingdom now being set up by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu till all things are subdued under Him and He then hands over the Kingdom and His ruler-ship to His Father God. The Holy Father glorifies His Name in all things. All prayers are in His Name and all glory and praises are given to Our Lord Jesus Christ in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. One of the assignments of the Holy Spirit is to glorify The Lord Jesus Christ. Besides He is the first ruler of the Kingdom and is subject only to His Father, God Himself. So brethren. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is the Kingdom of love where only the will of God is manifested and fulfilled in everything.
The greatest kingdom has arrived on earth. Prophet Daniel saw it and announced it. (Daniel 2:44) Our Lord Jesus Christ knew of it and proclaimed that it was coming and was near (Matthew 4:17). John the Divine saw it and confirmed what other great prophets of God had seen and declared to mankind (Rev. 11:15). God the Trinity Himself is the High Priest now ministering to all creation in this kingdom.
Love is the foundation of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Mercy is the source of it. Faith is the pathway that leads to it. Righteousness is the key that opens the door for us to enter. It is in this kingdom that all that was written or predestined for you and me and all creation shall be fulfilled.
1:9 The kingdom of peace
It is also the Kingdom of peace. The Holy Spirit is here to install God’s peace, love and righteousness in the world. The peace of God that Our Lord Jesus Christ pronounce on his disciples and the believers in him is now to be and is fully fulfilled on mankind.
1.10 Brotherhood Belief
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has received recondite teaching from the Holy Spirit and has built up a body of belief that constitute the pillars of faith of the Kingdom.
The Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Belief is therefore the totality of belief in God, now revealed to man and manifest on earth. It is:
“I believe in God Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth and in His Son our Lord Jesus Christ who came down from heaven, and born of Virgin Mary to redeem us from our sins. He was crucified on the cross at Calvary, died, was buried and after three days and three nights, He resurrected from death, and with His blood redeemed us from our sins. He ascended to heaven and promised to come again with a new name to teach, judge, transform, and rule over mankind eternally in His kingdom now on earth.
I believe in Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit incarnate on earth in perfect unity in that name. He is the Sole Spiritual Head of the universe, King of kings, Lord of lords. He is born of woman, Holy Queen mother Ibum Mba and has come to teach, judge, transform mankind, and set up the kingdom of God on earth, Brother hood of the Cross and Star and rule over all creation for ever. I believe in all the teachings of the Holy Spirit as imparted by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu and put my faith and hope in the rulership of God our Father over all creation and in the oneness and brotherly love of all creation in one family of God”.
The above declaration sums up the faith, love, and hope of all children of God and guide their way of life in all things.
God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is in the kingdom and manifests now on earth in one united Trinity in Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. All persons now on earth must do God's will or perish. He who is now on earth is the God of will and power and no other will is permitted on earth except God's will. He is here to teach us and lead us to the full knowledge of Truth. He is here to change us from our sinfulness into righteousness. He is here to set up the Kingdom of God on earth and judge and rule. To enter the Kingdom of God, we must practise love in all things, all our life. This love is the only key into the Kingdom. Love is righteousness. Love is God and GOD is Love.
The above is the Article of Faith of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. It is an extension of the Article of Faith of Christianity. As happened before, we have by God's love, been called and given the revelation of the Kingdom now manifest. We are a lucky people. The same happened to the Apostles of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The generality of the Jews only knew of the Law of Moses and the Prophets. Their life was guided by those and they looked forward to a Messiah who will teach them more and lead them. It was the luck of the Apostles to receive this revelation of the arrival of the Messiah. In their midst, the Messiah, Our Lord Jesus Christ, amended the laws of Moses and substituted with the law of love. He revealed the atonement of our sins with His blood; not the blood of animals, as revealed by Moses and the prophets, but the blood of the Messiah Himself, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and the Word. It was to be the final atonement.
So you are lucky to receive the revelation of this age. I tell you, in this Kingdom only God's will must manifest and will manifest. Your own and mine will not. As soon as you are baptised in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, your will is set aside and cannot manifest again. Also the will of all others will not manifest on you. This is the reason for our power; why the world and all principalities cannot harm us, because no will can manifest on us except God's own will. We should glorify God for His love to us. You to all mankind.
1.11 The kingdom way of life
You are familiar with two slogans used everyday in this Kingdom. The first is PEACE. It is an abbreviated form of: "Let the Peace of God abide with you". With this we express our Love to the brethren wherever we meet one another. The second slogan is "As Father likes it". With it we declare our total surrender of our will to God so that His will may manifest in all we do. The two slogans sum up and define this kingdom. It is governed by Love and operated by the will of God.
1.12 God Himself is the High Priest
You are now in a Kingdom headed by God the Father, inspired by God The Son and directed by God the Holy Spirit. All the power in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star comes from God the Father. It is the Son who has made it possible for The Father's Love to come again to us, and it is still the Son who has made it possible for us to have the Holy Spirit. All manifest work you see in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is done by the Holy Spirit.
1.13 Certificate of incorporation
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, the Kingdom of God on earth, has been in spiritual existence even before the foundation of the world were fixed.
But in keeping with the requirements of the Law, the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star was legally incorporated in Nigeria on the 25th Day of March, I964 under the Federal Republic of Nigeria (The Land Perpetual Succession) Act Cap 98. A Certificate of Incorporation was issued. Before and after its physical and legal incorporation on earth. God has worked His will throughout the universe in keeping with the mission of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu.
May God's perfect will manifest in all of us and in the whole universe, now and forever more. Amen.
