“But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness let it not be once named among you as thou becometh saints.”
2.1 Fornication is a mortal sin, abhor it
Brethren, I am not going to be hard with you this evening concerning this fact but I want to remind you of what I have already taught because it is said that the sensible child will overcome what killed his father but the foolish child will be killed by what killed his father.
It is not merely baptising into Brotherhood, wearing white garment or preaching the gospel that is supreme rather, what matters is the practise of the teachings you receive. Many persons claim that they have left everything and followed Brotherhood, and I ask, 'have you forsaken fornication? You are told to flee fornication, immorality and other vices. Have you heard and practised this teaching? Some people say they have stopped being diabolic but what about fornication? If you do not tell lies, are not diabolic and yet fornicate, you are worthy of death.
Quite a good number of you do not know that fornication is a mortal sin.. If a child stretches his hand towards a particular direction, know that either his father or mother is in that direction. This gospel is to encourage you to be chaste; if you have fled fornication remain firm and embrace it no more
2.2 Adultery is not permitted under any condition
Fornication goes beyond the periphery of having sex without marriage. If a woman is married to a man and she goes to have sex with another man she commits adultery. In the same vein, if a married man goes out of his marital home to have sex with another woman he has committed adultery. If a man is not married but goes to have intimacy with another man's wife, he commits adultery. Similarly, if a woman has no husband and she has intimacy with another woman's husband she equally commits adultery. If a man has no wife and a woman has no husband and the man goes to ask such a woman for marriage that is a careful choice. In this kingdom, you are not told to avoid marriage but, have been warned against committing adultery. Many brothers marry but where their sisters are not able to give birth, they go outside their marital homes to commit adultery.
Many other brothers marry but because their sisters give 'birth to only female children they also leave them and go out to commit fornication. Our Lord Jesus Christ said what has been put together by God let no one put asunder. If a woman divorces her husband she is supposed to stay on her own without having sex with any man at all. If she still has interest to marry, she has to go to that same man, make peace and re-marry him. Same goes with a man who separates with his wife. If he also wants to marry, he is under law to go to his former wife, make peace, and re-marry her. A woman is joined together with her husband so long as both live. If both are living and one goes to have sex with another person, that one commits adultery. However, if the wife or husband is transferred by God then the other one living has the right to many another person.
2.3 Polygamy is unacceptable to God
The most hideous sins that have defiled you who are of this kingdom are fornication and adultery. There is nobody who would have problems here if you were to abide by this teaching. People of the world do not regard fornication and adultery as sins but they are the most hideous sins before God. Many of you are married to as many as twenty husbands/wives but when you are asked how many husbands/wives you have you answer “only one”. You marry one man/ woman and after two years, you divorce him/her and marry another. You separate with that one after one year and marry another. All those you marry after the first one make you adulterous. From this adultery, you carry problem upon you and your family. If you want to marry a woman make sure that she has not married before or you commit adultery. If you are a young girl that has never married, make sure that the man you marry has never broken a marriage with another woman otherwise you commit adultery.
2.4 Adultery and fornication create problems for you. Flee same sex marriage or intimacy.
Many of you are married to one man each but these men are married to many women each. Remember that the first wife is the only true one recognised by God and therefore both of you commit adultery. If you are a young man who has never married and you want to marry; be very careful because if you become married to a divorcee, you commit adultery and problems set in from then on. You know that a woman has a husband who is alive and you still go in for her, do you know what you are doing? It is better for you even to die than being alive. You know a woman is married to your friend and you go to have intimacy with her. No matter how dutiful you are, go on ministry work or go round bethels and celebrate feast, there is no way out for you. Even if you like to escape from the Father and hide yourself in London you are still in fire.
2.5 Homosexuality is an abomination
Some of you have intimacy sexually with somebody of the same sex as you. This is abominable before God and is severely hated by God. You must flea from such action. It is a worse form of fornication. The sin of homosexuality is a mortal sin and you must flee from it.
Many of you complain of problems, the question is, have you fled fornication? Do you not know that whosoever fornicates is indebted to sorrow, death, poverty, wretchedness etc? Where do want God to dwell? That is why you are told that He has come so that you will keep your body clean for Him to dwell therein. One of our spiritual songs, “My child if you love me I will choose your heart to live in” says it all. If you commit fornication how can the Holy Spirit come to dwell in you? If you attend service everyday and still commit fornication what do you think you are doing? You are told that if you search yourself you will not be judged. But God chastises you so that you will not be condemned with the people of the world.
More often than not, brothers and sisters complain that they are being disturbed by ghosts, witches, wizards, juju, etc. Do you not know that your problems come from committing fornication? If there is any person that says when he fornicates he has no problem bring him to me. No matter the amount of love you have for God and vice-versa, the moment you fornicate fire sets in. Major problems you encounter, these days, especially thieves doing away with your property, somebody borrowing from you without paying back, your child becoming sick, your wife or husband deserting the house, you becoming sick, all are caused by fornication. It is always pathetic to see God's house both the wife and the husband commit adultery. Such is the house of Satan, God does not live in such a house. Do you not see how your houses are so hot? You have no peace. It is no witchcraft that is responsible for that. It is just because you do not respect yourselves. You go out to commit adultery. When you go to the market to sell your goods, you do not prosper, you cultivate your land and reap nothing, all these are caused by fornication and adultery. There is no profit for whosoever commits fornication. Read the first lesson.

2.6 Divorce is acceptable on one condition: Adultery
Brethren, have you heard what is read to you? That is why you hear the name Anna. She married and later became a widow for 84 years. From time immemorial your problems always emanate from fornication but even as it is being preached now you do not take it seriously. These things were written down for you to be admonished so that you shall take precautions. The reason many of your children die is because you commit fornication. You go to commit fornication with somebody's wife or husband and when you come back your child dies. It is because of fornication that you cannot pass your examination and enter the University. As a result of fornication you have no child and grow sick. You defile the house of God and become nothing and useless because of fornication. A drunkard or an insane fellow is far better than a fornicator. So brethren, do not commit fornication as our ancestors did and 23,000 of them died in a day. God created one man for one woman and one woman for one man. If you have a wife and she goes to commit adultery she is no longer your wife. You have the right to divorce such a woman and marry another one but you must be sure that the second has not been married previously. Conversely, if your husband commits adultery you can leave him and God will give you another one. If your wife is very flippant, she quarrels, talks too much or steals, you have no right to divorce her unless she commits adultery. That is the only condition.
2.7 Peace eludes you when the marital bed is soiled
If you divorce your wife on grounds of quarrelling, stealing, or any other offence than adultery you commit adultery yourself. The only injunction from God is that if you have a husband and he goes to commit adultery you can pack your things because he has soiled the marital bed. This lesson is noteworthy. If you have a wife or a husband and she or he goes to be intimate with somebody else, know that there will be no peace. Whosoever practises this gospel is free but whoever does not practise will suffer as a murderer. Even a murderer may be better. You can now realise that the sufferings of some sisters here are caused by fornication. Many men drink and get drunk, others have court cases etc. all these are caused by fornication. Because of fornication, and adultery you fall sick and go wretched, your children die and you also die. So it is said if you were to search yourselves God would not judge you and that is why He judges by chastising you so that you will not be condemned.
2.8 Your body belongs to God
God is not a respecter of any person. If you commit fornication you have to be given the same punishment. Food is for the belly and the belly is for food. You are told that both will be destroyed. You are further told that the body belongs to God so do not destroy it. Again, you are reminded that the owner has come so prepare it for him to stay in. This is not the time when our Lord Jesus Christ said - foxes have holes and the birds have nests but the Son of man has no place to lay his head. He has come and your body is His house so prepare it for Him to dwell in. If you have a wife and she is transferred by the Father you can many another one. Do not say you are a widow or a widower and jump from pole to pillar or you destroy the temple of God. 1st Timothy chapter 5 says do not register a woman over 60 years for marriage but if you are below 30 years, you can marry rather than go about committing fornication. Go and look for a man to marry but be careful you do not marry one that has a wife. When I look at you I pity most of you because of where you have put yourselves. Some of you are suffering under your husbands. You are buffeted, insulted and made hungry yet you cannot go away. 1st Cor. 7:28 says there is no law that a man or a woman should get married but since you are prepared to marry you must also be prepared to accommodate everything you see.
2.9 After mating with your spouse fast and pray
Whatsoever goes into the mouth of a sick person he will take it even if it is for him to die. That is why you find yourselves in this condition. So long as you love to marry, whatever condition you come across - whether buffeting or wretchedness, you have to bear it. Hence it is said that it is better not to marry but in order to avoid fornication it is alright for every man to have one woman as wife and for every woman to have one man as husband. A woman has no right to use her body anyhow neither does a man. Also to be intimate with your wife, it should be at will and after making love, both of you should fast so that the house does not go in flames. I know that nobody likes this gospel - the television, the radio the papers will not carry it but it is incumbent upon me that I preach it. Read the second lesson below.

2.10 Your body is God's tabernacle
Brethren, have you heard that? You are told to flee fornication because it is the only sin that is against your body and the Holy Spirit does not need such a body. No matter how beautiful a house is when you leave it for sometime and go back to it, you see dirt and cobwebs thus making it rather repulsive. That is why you find people with ugly faces, complaining of sickness here and there. It is because the Holy Spirit has left their bodies. A young lady sees her menstrual period no more, looks old and sickly, all because the Holy Spirit has left her body. You have read the text above that, 'every sin a man doeth is without the body, but he that commiteth fornication, sinneth against his own body,' and the Holy Spirit is no more with him.
One spiritual chorus says, 'the child of unrighteousness, be careful of all the sufferings I have received.' If you defile your body, where do you expect the Holy Spirit to live. Another song says “I will erect a tabernacle for God while I live, whatever the people of the world say or do I do not care but I have to erect a tabernacle for him.” How do you erect a tabernacle for God? Heaven is His throne and the earth is His footstool so it is only when we clean our bodies that we erect a tabernacle for Him. It costs you nothing to practise this gospel because all your power, goodness, wealth, and peace revolve round this gospel. It is asked, what can I use to build a house for God, a stick - it will break or burn, or do I use iron? It will also rust. Therefore, the only way is to keep the body clean. It does not need your spending kobo or speaking English but giving your body to God. At all times, you aim at building cathedrals for God but that is nothing to Him since He does not live in them. The cathedral He needs from you is your body because that is where He lives. Do not make a mistake to call this hall the house of God. You are the church or house of God.. You have already been taught to the last and this is only to remind you of what you were taught many years ago.
2.11 When you fornicate you fall sick and suffer
It is always very sympathetic when I find the ordained ones, elders, Christ's students, Christ's Servants and Choristers defile themselves because I have told you this profits you nothing. The wretchedness of the people, world over is caused by fornication and adultery. You heard the brother that testified, saying the Father told him not to fornicate and that he had hypertension. He said the Holy Spirit revealed to him that it was because he fornicated that he had that sickness. He took medicines and. the sickness worsened. When he realised the cause to be fornication he vowed not to fornicate again and now even when a woman falls on him, he strongly refuses to commit fornication.
When the Father speaks here you do not hearken unto his instructions but when you see the repercussions then you begin to comply because it is said a bird sings well when it is free. Another brother came here and said that two of his children died simultaneously and I told him, he was the cause. He was surprised and I repeated that it was because he fornicated.
2.12 Some brethren have tried to be chaste
I give this gospel because I know about 99% of the deaconesses have fled fornication so I must encourage them. If I say there is any fellowship that loves God and has fled fornication, the Deaconesses Fellowship is first. Many of them do not have the instinct of fornication at all. Some have stayed for up to 30 years without having intimacy with men. Hence God is nearer them and is using them to do His works. That is why our Lord Jesus Christ passed through the mouth of Paul to say that you judge those in the church but those outside it is God that judges them. If you preach this gospel to the world they will stagger and will want to stone you to death. Do not ever go outside the fold of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to preach this gospel because people will refuse to offer you water and their drivers will not allow you to board their vehicles when you want to travel as they will conclude that you are preaching against them. Since many of the Deaconesses, and other brethren including the interpreter have fled fornication, I am grateful to the Father. That is the difference between Brotherhood members and people of the world. Do not allow anybody to talk against you on fornication and adultery. Do not allow such thing to happen at all. 2.13 No act of immorality should be found in your midst
Let these not be mentioned again among you because you are all the children of the Most High. Do not covet somebody's property; do not covet somebody's wife; do not covet somebody's husband and do not allow fornication and adultery exist in your midst. Be holy as I am holy. How does it sound in your ears when you are told a Deaconess or Pastor or Chorister has snatched somebody's wife or husband? A stranger comes and reports, 'My Father, Leader Obu, a Brotherhood member has snatched my husband/wife.' What a shame. Do not allow such a thing in your midst. A Brotherhood member has deceived me, I prepared charm for a Brotherhood member and he has not paid me. A Brotherhood member has cursed me; a Brotherhood member is fighting.' Do not allow that at all, because you have been taught that these things should not happen in your midst anymore. You should not be angry, you should not fight, you should not cause confusion and you should not commit adultery, Instead be holy because your Father is holy. It is said; if you are reproached in my name be happy because the Holy Spirit is upon you. Do not suffer because of stealing, coveting somebody's wife or any other vices because if you receive such punishments they are because of what you do. When you visit somebody and there is a report that the host's money is lost, what do you do with such money?
Brethren, a stroke of the cane is sufficient unto the wise. Let those who have ears hear and may God bless His holy words; Amen.
