MAN AND WOMAN ARE EQUAL BUT CHRIST IS ALL AND IN ALL

First lesson: Matthew 19: 4 "And he answered and said unto them. Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female. Second lesson 1 Corinthian 11: 12 ”For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman, but all things of God". Text: Colossians: 3: 11 "Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision. Barbarian. Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all." 1.1 The Doctrine of equality Brethren, that is the revelation of our lesson today. Everyone should listen attentively in order to assimilate the gospel of today. Many people think that there are certain persons created by God, who are superior and more fortunate than others. I do not want to talk today on man and woman. I want to talk about what is called man. Your consideration that one man is a Chief, the other man is a rich man, the other one is very much loved by God or that one person is superior to the other person is but wishful thinking. Such an attitude brings about the downfall of the government and indeed of the whole world. It is what brings war into the world. That is where we are going to start during this Pentecostal and we shall carry this theme throughout the Pentecostal. This is the new Kingdom of God and so nothing is hidden from any person. Everything is laid bare before all. All your commissions and omissions, which were done through ignorance and stupidity, are now going to be explained to you, so that you know your relative position in this Kingdom of God. When you are conscious of your ignorance your eyes will be opened and you will humble yourself. Men are boasting that they are better than women. Women also feel that they are superior to men. Many people think that their birthrights are better than those of others. But what is our lesson today? It says there is neither Greek nor Jew, there is neither born nor free, there is neither man nor woman but Christ is all and in all. From today do not boast of any man. Man is nothing. Never you conceive in your mind that you are something because as a man you are nothing. Neither man nor woman is something. Man is not better than a woman, and a woman is not better than a man. All of them are equal. God does not love you more than any other person and He does not love any other person more than yourself. God knows neither man nor woman. He knows only our Lord Jesus Christ. 1.2 Interchangeable nature of all earthly things It does not serve any useful purpose to claim the heir to inheritance or to be the son of the soil, or to claim to have founded a place. To be arrogant and pompous is vain. Do not boast of any human being that the man is free and the other is poor. Only God is everything and in everything. It does not imply that God has made a mistake in creating a man and a woman. In His divine Creation, it is not implied that man is superior to woman or that woman is better than man, both are equal. The woman has no right to claim superiority over the man and man has no right to claim superiority. God created everything. As the woman is of the man so also is the man by the woman, but all things are of God. Since man is nothing and does not exist only Jehovah God and His Christ live forever. If man were to be the creator. kings and emperors would not die, they would never be sick. If things were to be as we imagine, the so-called sons of the soil, the big men of the society would not have been sick, and poor and hungry; they would not have suffered any afflictions and tribulations. If God were to create one thing greater than the other, you would not have been sick, you would not even die. Christ is the only person existing. He is the greatest of all things. He alone lives forever. For this reason no person should have any boast because he has money, or he is educated. Who is this great man? And who is this small baby? Who is this young man? The baby is the young man and he also is the big man. Who is that King? Who is that Prince? Who is that poor man and who is that outcast? That prince is the king, that king is the poor man, and the same person is the outcast. Who is that millionaire? Who is the person in abject poverty? That millionaire is the person in abject poverty. What is your boast then? Who is the President? Who is the Governor and who is the truck pusher? If therefore, the President is the Governor and the Governor is the truck pusher then who evolved this system? It is the Father. Since there is only one person in existence, have no boast and praises of ourselves to sing. He is the monarch of all the survey. When you see an applicant what do you call him? When he is employed and he has money and settles down what do you call him? As this goes on when he is so wealthy he is made a Chief, how do you address him? Is it not the applicant who was a small worker, who became a millionaire and who finally became a King? This explains the reason why you should honour all men and love all men. 1.3 Mainstay of the cycle: do not boast in anything; give glory only to God What do you mean by all men? Are all men not the same, and equal to each other. If this is so what is the difference between human beings. Can you show then how you are better than the other human beings? Can you show then how you are better than the other person or how you are more superior to another man and the thought which should make you infatuated with pride to arrogate to yourself certain position? Have you noticed the folly of man? For this reason, no person has the right to despise the other person or to look down on others. No person has any right of comparing two individuals, all are the same. Today, you have a child; you go about looking for a child but who is a barren woman? Tomorrow you beget children, you who, were childless yesterday, are a parent today, who is that parent? Is it not Christ? That is why you are advised to regard every person as equal, no person is greater than any other, you are not superior to any other person, you are nothing. It is only Christ who is all and in all. Is it because God has given you money today that you should claim to be better than the other person? If God has given you money today, do not forget that yesterday, you were a servant, somebody fed you, clothed you and gave you money. If it is money that has made you greater than myself, it means that when I had money yesterday, I was more superior to you. If yesterday when I had money, I was a millionaire, I have no money, it means that none of us is better than the other, we are all the same. Today, I am sick and while you come to see me you remark that I am very sickly what about yesterday when you were always sickly. Do you not realise that no person is superior to the other. When you go to see a sick person you complain that he is always sickly and that he should search himself, he should confess his sin and believe God and pray for his recovery. When you say all these things do not forget an adage which says that a bird sings melodiously when it is not entrapped. In spite of your attitude the man struggles until he recovers completely from the sickness. Not long after, you also become sick. Now that you are also sick will you take the same advice you gave to him when he was sick, by confessing you sin, fasting and praying and by believing in God. If you are not concerned when a person is sick, then when you also become sick no person will be concerned. What actually do you want God to do so that you realise that no man has any boast because man is worthless. Today, God gives you money, to any extent, every person refer to you as a money magnet, but tomorrow you have no more money. When you have money, you are also made a Chairman, a Community Leader, a Chief; but tomorrow when you have no money, you are deposed from these positions, and you are net known again. This is why you have been advised to regard every man as equal. No person should claim superiority over another. Christ alone is the Father, He is the mother. He is the Son, He is a friend. He is the Chairman, a millionaire. He is the Chief, indeed He is everything. 1.4 Be humble in your dealings with others Do not be deceived that since you have children, people call you a father, a friend and love you because of your ownership of children. You become pompous and arrogant, what will happen tomorrow when you have no children. Do not be deceived that since you have money, you should feel yourself so elated and elevated. You look down on others and despite those less fortunate than yourself. Do not be deceived that since you have been made a Chief, you should look disdainfully at others and regard yourself as the monarch of all the survey. An adage says no condition is permanent. You can be elevated to a very high position today and tomorrow you are brought down. Today, you may be beautiful and tomorrow you become so ugly that no person wants to talk to you. God has used this lesson to advise us not to be pompous but that we should regard every other man as our equal. For the scripture said to Pharaoh, for this same purpose have I raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth? And so if God blesses you, do not deceive yourself because you are nothing. Whatever position you find yourself, since God is the Creator of heaven and earth, all glories should be given to Him alone. If He gives you money today, do not boast in the money but rather be grateful to Him, worship Him, reverence Him and adore Him, prostrate for Him and regard the other person as superior to you. Your trouble is that you boast in money, wealth, children, position but you forget that you are but the dust of the earth and that man is non-existent but Christ alone exists in one and in all. What did you bring into this world and with what will you go back? Do you notice that man is empty but God alone is in existence? When you get home ponder over this lesson and examine yourself whether you are working towards the glory of God or whether you are working for your aggrandizement. When you claim that your own father founded the community, your own father was the first King and your own father was the most prominent man in the community; what happens when he dies? If you claim to have many slaves, landed property and such like things, when you die to whom will these things belong? When you claim to be King, when you are no more who rules over your subject? Why should we waste our time boasting for what is given to you and you have no authority or even control over. Today, you are not happy because you have no money or children or relations, or that you are an applicant, does it mean those who have these things are better than you? You are a very stupid person who thinks in that way. No one man is more superior to the other man. If you have no kobo, or child or you are sick, you are not hopeless. This is so because God is God the Father and we all together are one. He lifts you up and He downgrades you; He is the beginning and the end, the Alpha and Omega. Why you are told this thing is that a great many of you here feel that there are so many odd things in Brotherhood which in normal circumstances you should not come in as a good man. But who are you? 1.5 All men are imperfect From Adam till now there is no perfect man. If the first man came from earth, where are you from? Are you not from the earth and if you come from earth, you cannot be perfect. Every person on earth from the King to the smallest is born of a woman. From Cain till now all men are born of women. From Adam, all sorts of men, in all walks of life boast but at the end they die and are buried. All sorts of men, king, millionaires, slave, orphan and president all have their peculiar problems and difficulties. Even those you think are better off than yourself and those you feel have no problems, if they narrate their own stories you will be flabbergasted. All those you feel that they are very rich are only deceiving themselves because there is no person who is rich. Every person is empty. So brethren, that is the key to our gospel. Do not disgrace yourselves any longer. All human beings appeared on earth to meet this earth as strangers. Therefore no person can claim ownership of this earth. God appeared first not man. He created man and every other thing and this is the time for Him to be glorified. Man did not create anything. His glory is now manifested. He who created heaven and earth, water and dry land, animals, fishes, birds and creeping things. He alone should be glorified. 1.6 Give all glory to God in everything If God had regarded you as you regard yourself why did He destroy Sodom and Gomorrah? If God had accepted you as rich as you purported to be, why did He destroy the world of Noah? God did all these in order to expose the nakedness of man, but man has never learnt his lesson. Have you heard what happened to Nebudchadnezzer who was insolent to God? He was the King of Babylon but he misbehaved and then he saw the handwriting on the wall. To know that man is nothing he was made to live in the bush like an animal for seven years. Man is to be sympathetic with any other being, since from the events in the world man does not realise that he is non-existent. Sometimes man claims that there is no God and that he is the only person existing but after sometime he dies off. Sometimes somebody stamps his feet on the ground that he is the only cock to crow in his town and that no person should make any claim for anything. But after some days he is no more. Sometimes somebody comes to your house and you drive him away because he is not your equal, he is a poor man, but one month after you also become poor. You see a leper coming to your house and you drive him away but tomorrow you become a leper, blind and deaf. It is said, what do you have which you did not receive these things, why do you boast? No person has life. The life you are living is that of Christ. You complain about children that they are too noisy and that you cannot eat with them. Who are you? Were you not a child? Do you know what the child is likely to be in future? Children should respect the adult more because they too will become adults. What do you lose if you regard every person equally, children, adult old men and women. If you are a millionaire and you assemble all classes of men and distribute food to them, what do you lose, knowing that you will not be a millionaire forever? If God gives you children, and you see who are less fortunate than yourself, comfort them and let your children also serve them? Have you realised that any person who calls himself a king but looks down on others, his action will have some repercussions with him. When you are rich too and you do not share your wealth with others the repercussions will be heavily on you. If you complain that people do not love you or that they have abandoned you, it is a result of your own action. When somebody is sick and every person is told to go and see him, you dodge and refuse to go, do not forget that you too will be sick and people will not visit you. When you are not visited, you complain, you fast and pray that people do not love you. Have you soon forgotten that you did not visit a sick man? You are merely reaping what you sowed. Let us have our first lesson. First lesson: Matthew 19:4 "And he answered and said unto them. Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female." If in the past you did not know how the world started, know from that lesson. Many people claim, though erroneously, that there is no God and for that reason they cannot listen to the word of God; Many others feel they cannot kneel down to receive prayers or to listen to the word of God, that nothing whatever can cause them to kneel down because they are capable of listening or doing any other thing while standing. Have you listened to that question, who created them or did your father or forefather create them? Does the world know the one who created both man and woman? When they were created, did the creator nominate the one who was greater than the other? Why then do you claim to be more blessed than any other person? 1.7 Man and woman are equal Why should man claim superiority over the woman? Were both not created by God? Did God create man to own land while He created the woman to wander about without land? Did He create the woman to procreate children for man to beget while she roams the streets, leaving the children for the man? Brethren, notice what has brought about trouble in the world. Today, you will find that millions of women have no place of abode or habitation, no place to rest their heads. Why is this so? Is it not the same God who created you who also created them? Do you think that God loves the man more than women? No. He loves both of them in the same way. Both of you are the same, since you are one flesh. Both of you are empty without our Lord Jesus Christ who is all and in all. Neither the man nor woman should lay claim on the children; neither the man nor the woman should claim ownership of the land. Land belongs to God. Man, woman, children belong to the Father. We should all give glory to the Lord because we all are void and of no effect. No person should think that he is something when in reality he is nothing. 1.8 Vanity in humanity Why do you always become pompous and carry your head, shoulder high when you are so empty? You, who as an applicant, were always going about begging but because you have a car now, look down on others. Have you soon forgotten your past? Why is it that you were in mud incognito, but because you have been removed from the dungeon and made a chief you showed yourself as the monarch of all, not taking cognisance of any other person in the community. You claim to be the only cock to crow, forgetting that you were removed naked from the pit yet you feel so infatuated with pride. Brethren, have you observed how we human beings behave? The very child you nurture and bring up under very trying condition, like borrowing money to educate him, now that he has got a degree he begins to speak high flowing English with you. If you advise him, he tells you, he is no longer a child but a full-grown man adding that his eyes are now opened. Unfortunately for you and fortunately for him, you the father are poor and wretched. He becomes the breadwinner for the family. He will then subjugate his parents under his own control, and if they do not accept his authority, he will not feed them. The irony of fate is that money is the deciding factor in our society. It may be because a man has money, he will be appointed into many positions of authority in the community. Again once you acquire a degree, you become qualified for any important position. The question is: is there an end to educational heights and wealth? If you are wealthy today you have positions but if in future you are no longer wealthy, you will definitely be abased and humiliated giving your high position to another wealthy person. In that state, you in your low state begin to strain your neck like a giraffe very envious of his position. But God is the same yesterday, today and forever. You always decide according to the prompting of the flesh but in this New Kingdom of God there is no room for carnal reign. God who created man and woman ruled that both of them should be one flesh. All things belong to Him. We should therefore honour and reverence Him realising that neither man nor woman is something before God. He who created heaven and earth and the fullness thereof is the one we should glorify and honour. 1.9 Inclination to arrogance Now many women feel that they are very beautiful and for that reason misuse and enslave the men, some of them pocket their men and treat them anyhow. It is this beauty that they employ in confusing men everywhere in offices or market, in the churches and everywhere. Wherever they enter in, men begin to fidget and become so mesmerized that the women begin to ponder over money and wealth. Who are you to behave in this way? Are you God? Do you think that you are more beautiful than other women? You are a foolish woman and those men who fall a prey to you are also fools. As you are beautiful or handsome, so also is the other woman or man. Human beings created by God are all beautiful. Each of them is endowed with a form of beauty. There are certain things, which occur as a result of hearsay. When you are given information about a certain thing and you focus your attention on that thing, your attention will be so drawn to that thing that you become magnetized. Has God not advised you not to love the world, and the things therein, because if any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him? 1.10 God's supremacy If we were to realise that we are nothing before God, and so know, recognise and love God we would not have had any problems. Now when you see some women who were so beautiful and well-to-do yester-years, how they look old, ugly, and gaunt because the beauty was short-lived, you would shed tears for their poor conditions which look pathetic. Do you not know that our Lord Jesus Christ is all and in all? He can make and unmake. He is beauty and ugliness. He is wealth and poverty. He is glory, peace, health and indeed everything. Therefore we are nothing. Do not count yourself as anything and do not bank your hope on any elementary thing. This has been the cause of all the troubles and confusion in the house and in the world at large. The wife feels she is the be-all and end-all in the house and the husband will say, "You are only a woman" implying that he is the power that be, and that two cocks cannot crow on the same roof. I want to let you know that there is no great man in this world except our Lord Jesus Christ and Jehovah God. From today no person should boast of himself or anything be it a child or wife, mother or father, brother or sister, wealth or position. If you have anything to boast of, boast of Jehovah God and His Christ. Even if God bestows on you the wisdom and capability to create human beings, invent and manufacture the aeroplanes, motorcars, ship and submarine or do every other thing, only boast in Him because He is the creator and inventor of everything. Just humble yourself, be calm, meek and simple. Regard everybody equally. When an enquiry is made as to the number of people in the world, a great many people will say people are uncountable. This is not true; people are not many, there is only one. Do not bank your hope on man who is like dew which today is, and tomorrow disappears into thin air. All we see which are material will be uprooted and destroyed and only our Lord Jesus Christ will exist forever. 1.11 Passing shadows The scriptures enjoin us not to trust in uncertain riches which disappoint but in the living God who gives us richly all things to enjoy. If your name is John you will maintain that name even if somebody slaps you, or beats you up or does not greet you, your name will still be John. If God bestows riches and money unto you, and gives you many children, you should humble yourself to the extent of fetching water for people, sweeping the streets, mixing with children and eating with them, greeting all categories of men, children, adults, old men and women alike. These humble gestures will never cause you not to have money. What you had will still remain yours. Even if somebody desires to take your name, let him take it but he will not take what God has bestowed on you. Know that everything will pass away but Christ will continue to exist forever. So you have to recognise Him and honour Him. He is the only person you should know and serve. Only surrender yourself to Christ. Once you are endowed with that spirit, there will be no trouble, no anger, no quarrel and no fight. It is said from the beginning. God created male and female, right now how many people are in this town or in the world? Are they not male and female? Let our second lesson be read. You have to listen attentively so that those planks in your eyes may be removed for you to see clearly. Second lesson: 1 Corinthians 11: 12 ”For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman, but all things of God". 1.12 Bad indoctrination Brethren, have you heard that statement? When a woman starts talking, the man hushes her up on the grounds that she was created out of the ribs from the man. And the woman will also hush the man up arguing that Christ was delivered by a woman and that all men are brought forth by women. Today, it is not uncommon to find a woman determined to claim her children, saying that she cannot afford to forego the children she delivered and would take them away. Are they really her children? Such a woman should keep quiet because these children are the children of God and not her own. Women are so bold to the point of mis-educating their children. They whip up sentiments against their fathers. They will even threaten the children should they fail to comply with their instructions. Women are so arrogant and hard-hearted that they confuse their children and win their sympathies at the expense of their fathers. With exasperation, they put bad blood in the heart of their children against their fathers. They have so disorganised their children to the point of sowing seeds of discord against them, but note that an adage goes, "A fight does not end with putting the opponent down". When you put him down, he can still thrust his finger into your eyes. Right now the incidence of children obeying their fathers is very slim. Mothers have so indoctrinated and brainwashed their children that they are at daggers drawn with their fathers. When you erroneously say that a woman is nothing, you should think of the strategy women employ to overthrow men. A woman uses anger and malice to cause confusion, but it is said, in Christ there is no differentiation between men and women. "For us the woman came out of the man even so is the man from the woman but all things are of God." It is, therefore, that the children are neither from men nor women but from God. Man is not from the woman and woman is not from man, both come from God- thus the foolish idea should be discarded. If God would want to reveal His own glory. He could cause people to descend from the sky onto the earth. Should that happen, what would be the glory of women; things would be thrown into confusion and disturbance. It is possible with God that a woman brings forth children without being with any man; just in the same way Mary brought forth Our Lord Jesus Christ. Had this been the case, what would be the glory of man? God is able to make man bear a child, but what would be the glory of woman? 1.13 God alone procreates All that I have told you have come to pass. Adam was alone and God took out a rib from his side and created Eve. Were all his ribs taken out? Is it not possible for God to continue to make woman out of man's ribs? In the same token it is possible for a woman to bring forth a child without any intimacy with a man. Have you forgotten the Virgin Mary who was not intimate with Joseph to whom she was espoused? Do you consider that if all children were to come out of men, the women would have had any glory or would have got any place in the home? On the other hand if women were to bring forth children without any union with men, would men have any position on earth or would women have any regard for them? That is the love of God. Even if a woman remains in a house for 100 years, if she has no intimacy with a man, she will not produce any child. Similarly, if a man stays at home and prays to God to give him a child, if he is not intimate with a woman he will not get any child. Since woman was of the man the man was also by woman, so that each of them may have his or her own glory, but may not boast for both of them are the same. God alone can boast. Brethren, that is the wisdom of God. As He regards a woman, so He regards a man. He regards all mankind in the same way. He passes through men into women and passes through women into men so that no person may have anything to boast of, nor claim superiority over the other and that God alone may be glorified. He infuses that drop of blood into the women who carry for the period of nine months before bringing forth a child so that none of them may claim ownership over the child. Despite this, the woman still claims ownership over the child and man counter claims. In process of your claim you indulge in concoction and charms, waging war against your partner in order to have control over the child. Can the man explain how that child is his? Prove that without the woman you would have been able to produce the child alone? Can any woman prove that she alone is responsible for the child? If the man did not infuse his own blood into the woman what would have developed into a child that she now claims ownership of? 1.14 Equal love and respect for man and woman Have you all realised that the love of God is the same for both man and woman? He gives us similar gifts so that we may be the same and so that we may not claim ownership of any child, so that we should not boast in anything except in God who is all and in all. God loves every person alike and regards all in the same way. From now on do not claim superiority over any other person; regard every other person, irrespective of sex, as yourself because you are one with him. If you respect a child, you will respect an adult, an old man and God also. If you are respectful to a young man then be similarly respectful to a small child. That is why you have been taught to love every person whether he is leprous, mentally deranged or healthy and handsome; whether he is a child or an adult or a person stricken in years. Love and respect all persons whether man or woman. If we love every person it is a sure indication that we are prepared for His service and we will have no problems. It is said if the good man of the house had known when the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. We should likewise watch whether in the morning or afternoon or evening or night or at any time since we do not know when the Son of Man would come. How do you understand this statement? It means that our Lord Jesus Christ can come in any form. He can come as a child. If you therefore have regard even for children, it means when He comes as a child you will meet Him. He can also come as an adult, for He is an adult and is also a child and if you receive an adult it means you have received Christ. He can come as an old man whose head is filled with grey hairs; He can appear toothless and blind supporting Himself with a walking stick. If you receive and rejoice with Him then you have received Christ. Have you not heard that He is the God of host? He can come with a host of people of all walks of life and ages, preceded by children, followed by young men and women, and old men and women, followed behind by the sick, the poor and the mentally deranged, all of whom comprise that same God. If therefore, you are a good mixer with all sorts of men you will not have difficulty in receiving them and when you receive them you will receive Christ. He can be a person in a state of abject poverty who walks naked or in tattered clothes to your home and if you drive Him away because of His condition, it means you have failed. He can come here as a very important, wealthy King with His kingly paraphernalia, wealth and army. If you, therefore, do not discriminate between any categories of person, you will receive the right king and by so doing, you receive Christ. Brethren let us have our Golden Text. Golden text Colossians: 3:11 "Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision. Barbarian. Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all." Brethren, realise the reason why you are taught oneness. This new Kingdom of God is one indivisible whole. If anything is to be shared, the same quantity is distributed to all present, the same honour, same glory, same humility, same love: knowing that only Christ is all and in all. He is in everything. He is a man. He is a woman. He is a child. He is an old man. There is no discrimination. There should be no distinction between the white and the black, man or woman, the poor and the rich, the slave and the free-born or between the ruler and the ruled but Christ is everything and in everything. It is erroneous for a Pastor to think that he is superior to any other class, the Apostle feels he is superior to others, the prophet or elder or teacher claiming superiority over others. If you think in this way, you are an abominable man. Who is an Apostle? He is Christ, Who is a Pastor? He is Christ, who is a Prophet or Reverend, He is Christ. He is an Evangelist; He is a teacher, a chorister, a Catechist, a Visioner. He is everything. When He was lifted up. He sent His Spirit down on all; to some as Apostle, to some as Prophets, to some as Teachers and to others as Evangelists. Have you not heard about these things? If He had distributed these diversities of gifts it means He Himself is an embodiment of these things. If He is these things, what are you? Is the Apostle who claims superiority over the Prophet aware of this revelation? What is the difference between Paul and Apollos, are they not both messengers in the Lord's vineyard? Are you not servants like them and our Lord Jesus Christ is everything? 1.15 There is no discrimination in this kingdom Segregation or discrimination or division is not wanted in this Kingdom. There are no strangers here, and there are no new comers who have not yet baptised as alleged. Who tells you that such a person is new and has not yet baptised? You also create distinction between the various church denominations: this one is from the Presbyterian or Mount Zion or Apostolic or Roman Catholic or that he is a soothsayer. Are soothsayers not made up of men and women, Roman Catholic members are made up of men and women and indeed does the whole world not consist of men and women with Christ as everything? Are Muslim, Hindus and all others not one with us all? 1.16 The great realization Our Lord Jesus Christ says, "When the Comforter comes He will lead you unto the wisdom of truth". Is what you receive in this New Kingdom not the wisdom of truth? Why did our Lord Jesus Christ advise that "he who has two coats should impart one to him who has none and he who has food should do likewise? Why did He say "blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven". Who is that rich man, is he not Christ? Who is that poor person, is He not Christ? Who created heaven and earth, is He not our Lord Jesus Christ? Who came down and hung on a tree, was He not the person? It is known that though the mother or the Father loves the son, he or she does not shed his or her blood for the son. Imagine how our Lord Jesus Christ has loved us to the extent of shedding His precious blood for the remission of our sins. Which other way could a man express love? Apart from God, who else on earth do you think could come and suffer for the sins of the world? Can an angel do it? None can do it apart from God who created heaven and earth. It was He who came and shed His blood and died. He who created us has again created us anew. Are you not desirous to tell the truth? Tell the truth now and you will realise what is in the world. In your office, it is known that some property is missing and in the same office, people are saying that if any staff discloses the theft, that staff will be maimed or killed. You know the truth but can you speak it without the fear of any consequence? You have a desire to love all men but if you are kind and benevolent to people, the very people will plot evil against you and because of this threat you prune yourself of the desire to be benevolent. We have all seen this truth, what stops us from embracing it? It is because we are fearful of what people will do to us. 1.17 Witnessing for the naked truth Some people say that when you become a real Brotherhood, you will be hated, dismissed from your place of work, your glory will be taken away from you and for that reason you run away cursing Brotherhood fold. Within you it is admitted that it is not your pleasure to say that and that against Brotherhood. You pray that God should forgive you. Remember that because John the Baptist rebuked Herod for marrying the wife of his half brother, he was beheaded. Right now if you tell your Permanent Secretary to refrain from fornication, he will bear malice against you and will, in course of time, issue you with a query to be answered within 48 hours. If you doubt this go to your Permanent Secretary tomorrow and tell him to abstain from fornication and drinking. He regards that your note of warning as an insult. This man will go to the extent of campaigning for your dismissal. "From where do you derive the material for your sermon?” Is it from the cover of the Bible", he stammers. It is a very pathetic situation. You continue to say that the Father has blessed, how does He bless you? The sermon imparted to you now was exactly what our Lord Jesus Christ preached in India and the people wanted to kill Him. The people were bitterly against equality, which was preached by Christ. Tell me the person who delivers this type of sermon and the worldly people allow him to go free? Think of this gospel, it is the last you can preach at any place and the people accept you in their midst. The people will rebel against your sermon on equality because they cannot see how a lawyer, a chief, a president can be the same with a pauper and how a woman can be equal with a man. Has Christ not told you, "Verily, verily, I say unto you He that believes on me the works that I do shall he do also and greater works than these shall he do because I go to my Father.” 1.18 Equality: how practicable? It is a simple thing for a doctor, a lawyer, a scientist, a chief, the highly placed men to be seated together at a function or at any gathering but it is not easy for lawyers, chiefs, and the so-called important personalities to accept the gospel of equality. Now, the happiest sets of persons in Brotherhood are the poor, the thieves, the sick, children, the afflicted, the orphans, but for the rich, the educated, the so-called good men, they are always sad, and reluctantly attempt to force a grin because of this sermon. 1.19 Equality practised only in Brotherhood You are true witnesses that there has been no occasion when a rich man eats with a poor man from the same plate, instead of that he would prefer going hungry or he breaks the plates. When and at where did you ever see a king coming down to stay a commoner. If he does that the people will think that he will incur the wrath of the gods of the land. Where did you find holders of B.Sc., Ph.D. D.D., and degrees mixing up with illiterates? Have you ever seen a leper; or an epileptic or a paralytic and others suffering from all types of disgraceful infirmities sitting side by side with healthy people; sharing jokes and food together; mixing together in dancing and in such activities in any other place in the world apart from here in the fold of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star? Where else do you find thieves, fornicators, sorcerers, drunkards mixing up with well meaning citizens, apart from here in the fold of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star? Have you not found all these categories of men in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Brotherhood is the Kingdom of God, and in God's kingdom, there is liberty for all and hence equality is practised. 1.20 We practise equality Realise that beauty, wealth, kingship have no place in this Kingdom only Christ is everything and in everything. The world alleges that you in the fold of Brotherhood worship human being. Call them to come and witness the correct procedure of worshipping. Nothing is important in the fold of Brotherhood: Millions of Naira are not regarded. Whatever you are, no person takes cognisance of you. You may be a chief, or a judge no person recognises you, only Christ is known and recognised. Do you remember the words spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ when He saw the rich? He pronounced, "Woe unto you, rich men for you have received your consolation, you who enjoy now, you will be sad. Woe unto you who laugh now for you will mourn and weep." He also said, "blessed are the poor, the hungered , the needy for you will be filled, and you will laugh." Have you not seen how the poor and needy are happy now? The reverse is the case with the rich who continue to complain of lack of peace and recognition in spite of the millions they have. We the poor and needy, the sinful, we are enjoying ourselves. People allege that Brotherhood is a church of all sort of evil men. Accept that because Christ did not come to call the righteous man. This means that Brotherhood has engulfed the whole world. Christ died on behalf of the evil ones and it is but these evil ones He has come to call. There should no longer be quarrel. Do not sue any person to the law court. Do not impute sin on any person. Do not torture and punish nor look at any person disdainfully. Do not cause any division but live peaceably with people because this is the New Kingdom of God. Both men and women must serve God; children and adult must serve God, the white and black must serve God. We all have a duty to honour our Father and abide by His own instructions.
