"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? (1st Corinthians 3:16)
What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's” (Ist Corinthians 6:19 - 20)

"The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death".

“Meats for the belly, and belly for the meats; but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.”

"For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the Cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things. "
Today's sermon again is on food, feeding and the evil of food. The last enemy is death. What is this death? Is it man or tree? You have heard that meats are for the belly and the belly for meats but that God will destroy both it and them. Food is that death referred to. Food makes you sick, angry and kills the spirit in you. Food is death and responsible for all the evil in you.
3.1 What should you eat?
All those who desire to have eternal life have started living according to the will of God. This is God's commandment as regards food:
"And God said, behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in "which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” (Gen 1:29)
God commanded that man may freely eat of any fruit of the trees of the Garden but that man should not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil for in the day he eats thereof he shall surely die. The enemy of life is food. Food brings about high blood pressure, diabetes and other forms of incurable diseases. You complain about being bewitched and charmed whereas your problem is the food you eat. You may eat and grow fat but your fatness leads to death. Food is the sting of death. All your special diets, a la carte and delicious cuisines destroy your spirit, soul and body.
3.2 The evils of food
If I should now expatiate on the evils of food, I will not exhaust the topic for ten years. I only want to give you an introductory part of what you call a new doctrine. I have always cautioned you about food but you do not seem to be bothered. We are staging a return to the Garden of Eden. It is said that all herbs bearing seeds and all fruits of a tree yielding seed, shall be your food. This does not simply mean food but a form of medication. Just like someone looks for cure for an ailment, you can take an orange and a cup of water and it will suffice you for a day. The next day you take a banana and a cup of water and you will be satisfied. That is how you should live. Take fruits as a cure for your ailments and not the heavy meals you devour. Fruits will invigorate you and cure your pains and age problems.
You have been wandering all over and looking for life but do you know that what you reject is the very source of life? When you look at yourself and see you are fat and robust, you smile and feel satisfied that you are alive and healthy whereas it is actually poisonous extra burden, sickness and death. The pains you complain about and the objects you claim are moving about in your body and the sickness in you are the result of what you eat.
3.3 The body is the house of God
The body is the house of God and not the house of food. God did not make the body for food. Can you now see the last enemy that will be destroyed? In consonance with the scriptures, I have told you often and now tell you, even weeping, that your belly is your god. A local adage has it that what a sick man likes is what he eats till it kills him, You keep trying and trying everything. All the things you cook and eat kill the life and the spirit in you such that you hear but cannot even hear or assimilate the gospel you receive. God has always dwelt with man on earth. It is food that separates man from God. The end of food is death and destruction. Man should neither drink, nor snuff nor eat of the things forbidden by God because these are poisonous to the body. It is not given that one should tamper with the body by rubbing ointment or cream on it. You should not introduce anything unnatural to the body. All the things you inject into your body or rub on your body lead you to destruction. Your body is the house of God and you ought not to adulterate it in any way. The only food for the body is for you to practise the gospel. You have heard that in those days there shall be no more death. This is predicated on the fact that you avoid gluttony and concentrate on' fruits. As you start eating fruits, you will no longer feel hungry, weak or sick and you will stop ageing. Food, the vegetarian food, must be eaten in moderation, not gluttonously.
3.4 Man shall live by the word of God
I am taking you step by step. When we started fasting we started from 6 am to 6 pm. Then we went on to one day dry fasting, then two days and now we do three days dry fasting. Time is coming when we will fast four days or five days and so on.
Satan tempted our Lord Jesus Christ to turn stones into bread. Our Lord answered and said man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ was referring to this end of times when the word of God will be the source of life. You also recall that His disciples invited Him to eat but He told them He had meat they knew not of. They began to wonder in their hearts if anyone had given Him food. Since He is God and knew their hearts He told them His meat was to do the work of His Father who sent Him and to finish it.
3.5 Food is man's worst enemy
If you practise the injunctions of loving one another, if you refrain from anger and lies, you will no more be hungry, nor thirst nor fall sick, grow old nor die. If the word of God dwells richly in you, you will have everlasting life. This was why He declared to His disciples “I am the living bread, which came down from heaven and whoever eats of me shall never die. " (John 6:51a)
Here in Brotherhood there are some who no longer feel hungry. We have somebody and what remains is for him to stop drinking water. He only eats one banana a day. We also have many who stay from 6am daily without eating and thereafter eat only one banana at 6pm. We have someone who does not eat anything cooked.
Food is death and we are created as an abode for the spirit. He did not create us to fornicate with one another but to dwell in us. Complaints of various sicknesses are all over the world because of the indulgence of man in what he does not know. People do not understand that this body has been purchased with the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and that the spirit has come to dwell in it.
You can eat and collapse and die on the spot but if you practise the word of God you will not die. You have heard and read that Adam lived for 930 years. That was possible because at that time there was no frying, no roasting, no baking, and no cooking as you do today. He fed on fruits. The same thing happened to Noah and others who lived long. Food, other than fruits, has shortened man's life span.
Just consider this:- Adam ate the forbidden fruit and was driven out of the Garden of Eden and inspite of this he was able to live for 930 years. How did he do it when he had a misunderstanding with God? When our Lord Jesus Christ had not shed His blood for us, people lived for 200 to 900 years. But today after the blood has been shed, you find people dying very young and sickness rampant all over the world. Why not question yourself why things should be so.
3.6 White man's food is poisonous
You say the whites are civilized and have introduced tea and delicacies and so you demand them. These are poisonous to the body and lead to death. Tell me the truth, do you know that the food you eat is poisonous to you? I have told you that if you are destined to die you will continue eating those foods but those who are destined for eternal life will comply with these teachings. Apart from fruits and vegetables, can you find any of the things you eat written in the Bible and God authorizes you to eat them?
Life runs away from you because you put on death as your garment. You complain that in your dreams you see graves and apparitions and other dreadful things. Is it not because of the poison you take into your body? Try this experiment. Deny yourself some of the so-called delicious and nourishing food for some time and see how you will feel. Eating too much is like taking much liquor and it does your system no good. Just as you drink and pass urine, so will you pass out what you eat as solid waste. The amount of food you eat and the nutritious quality of it, will determine the quantity of solid waste product you exit from your body. You must control the quantity of food you take. Fruits will give you good quality and quantity. You should not let your belly become your god. If, however, you stay without food for sometime and later in the evening, take some fruits in the way of medication and drink some water, you will feel great. You will have no problems. If you continue like that, everything about your life will change and the Holy Spirit will enter you and your eyes will be opened. All the diseases, awful dreams and nightmares are brought about by all sorts of food that you eat.
First lesson: 1st Corinthians 15:26
"The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death "
All those who love food abide in death until today. All those who love food are the enemies of the Cross of Christ. The archenemy of the Holy Spirit is food. Watch carefully and you will notice that once food is brought in here, there will be fighting and scrambling whereas when we are on dry fasting this hall is very quiet and peaceful and the Holy Spirit quietly conducts His affairs without resistance. If there is any good thing in Brotherhood, it is dry fasting. The benefits also of 6 a.m to 6 p.m. fasting on Thursdays cannot be overemphasized. In the world you see young people going about with walking sticks but here in Brotherhood we look very young and are regenerated from day to day. Those of you who had potbellies have now been trimmed to size. Such bellies are signs of death not good health. Such people with pot bellies are even anaemic whereas the blood in one person in Brotherhood can sustain many lives.
3.7 Destruction of the enemy, a gradual process
The destruction of this last enemy is a gradual and progressive process. When you hear and practise the word of God, He will take away the spirit of gluttony from you. You are told not to drink, snuff, smoke or indulge in any evil or vice and when once the word of God takes control of you, that is the end.
Do not eat meat. Do not eat fish. All these instructions are different nuts to be tightened one after the other till we finally arrive at eating fruits and drinking water only. If God instructed Adam to eat of all fruits of trees and not to kill any animal or eat any other thing for food, and we have more kinds of fruits these days than in those days, why do you still persevere in stubbornness and death?
To the angel to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea it was said - "Hurt not the earth, neither the sea nor the trees ". He knew that the trees were food. God is constant. He gave us ready-made food in the form of fruits, which serve as life sustaining medication for us.
Do not rub any pomade or cream on your body. Do not do anything with your hair. There is no difference between a man and a woman. Do not perm or do anything with your hair. This is the instruction of God. Anything other than this is destruction. All the creams and oils you rub are chemicals and destroy your body which is the body of Christ. Whatever is forbidden you is for your own good and if you fail to adhere, you have yourself to blame.
David wanted to build a house for God but God told him not to because his hands were bloody. For this reason David gave up the attempt even though he had the money, the building materials and the ability. The owner of the temple tells you He does not want cream or ointment rubbed on His house, why do you still do what He does not want?
3.8 What the Holy Spirit wants
The Holy Spirit wants you to eat fruits. He does not delight in much food and does not like drugs or enema. What he wants is for you to purify your body since He has come to dwell in you. When the Holy Spirit enters you, your condition will become like that of a pregnant woman. It is not the pregnant woman as such who selects what she eats but the spirit (the child) she carries. The Holy Spirit when in you behaves that way and chooses for you and directs you on what to do.
3.9 The Holy Spirit is here with man
The world does not know He has come but we know and that is why we celebrate the reception of the Holy Spirit. When a person builds a house, he has the right to live in his house. He shed His precious blood to wash away our sins so that He can make His house clean enough to inhabit. Now that He has come to dwell in His house, surrender the house to the owner.Some other person's property is a likely source of trouble. If you dwelt in someone's house, you have to sweep and clean the house before you hand it over to the owner to avoid trouble. Go and preach the arrival of the Holy Spirit to the world and tell them what the Holy Spirit likes and hates. You are instructed not to drink or fornicate. All types of drink whether whisky, bear or soft drink are poisonous. Snuff and cigarettes mean death. All forms of injections, syrups, tablets and capsules are poisonous and deadly. All kinds of pomade, cream, perfumes, ointment are death. Costly apparels constitute death. Dress in a simple and decent manner and that is good enough. Right now, what He requires from us is the white apparel. He has made the choice for us. He had promised He would give you the white raiment you will put on and walk with Him.
3.10 Testimony - hypertension and heart healed
This is the time for us to listen to the Holy Spirit. Your fathers lived the way they lived when they did not yet believe. Now the Holy Spirit is leading you to the truth. You should not be obstinate any longer. Observe how sickness, death, punishment and tribulations are besetting man. If you now go to the hospitals, there are no drugs. If you take enema it does not work. Nothing tends to work these days. When you tell this truth to the church denominations they rise in challenge and profess that whoever says you should not take drugs or injections is a killer.
You heard the testimony of that Chief Medical Consultant who said he no longer takes medication. He is a great Physician but he suffered from hypertension and heart attack which made him consult physician after physician but to no avail. However on getting baptised into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star in May 1986, all his sicknesses were completely healed. I am saying this to your shame. He no longer takes any form of medication but if you go to him he administers medication unto you. This development made his wife, a Polish lady, to demand baptism into Brotherhood because she observed that her husband no longer complained of hypertension and heart problems after his baptism.
Somebody recommended this doctor to a Chief Judge. The doctor examined him and checked his urine and stool but found nothing yet the man was dying of pains. The doctor told him that the only solution was to take him to Calabar where his infirmities would be healed. You heard the testimony of that Chief Judge who was baptised on the 9th of January 1987 and all his problems were solved and since then has stopped taking any form of medication.
Many Brotherhood members who die, die in the hospital. If you go to the hospital and take drugs and die, your blood will be upon you. God does not compel any person to do anything against his will. As I am telling you this, so I am telling the inhabitants of the world to stop taking tablets, injections and syrups. Check your food carefully and be wary what you eat. Eat fruits for they are considerably cheaper here in Africa. The only food blessed by God is fruit. Anything else you prepare for yourselves as food is poisonous.
3.11 Meaning of fornication
Lust or fornication does not only imply having sexual intimacy with a man or woman. It refers also to being excessive in anything you indulge in. If, for instance, you drink water more than necessary, you have committed fornication. Whatever you have to take should be in small and moderate quantities because they are supposed to be medicinal.
It was not God's intention that Adam and Eve should ever continue to feed on fruits. If they had continued assimilating the word of God, time would have come that they would have hungered no more. What God did was like starting an infant class. At that stage they were to eat only fruits till the word of God filled them and then they would progress to eating nothing at all and then live forever.
How will you not die as long as you continue to fill your bodies with mud and poison? Some of you are simply gluttonous. In the past you were like sheep without a shepherd. Now a Shepherd has come from the highest heaven to pour His instruction on all mankind. Cultivate groundnuts (peanuts), pineapples, oranges, pawpaw, sugar cane and other fruits. Whenever you feel like eating anything, take it sparingly and not in large quantities.
Second lesson: 1 Corinthians 6:13
”Meats for the belly, and belly for meats; but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body."
Why do you persist in introducing all sorts of things into the house of God? Does the house (your body) belong to you? Do you not know that God does not dwell in the house built by man?
3.12 Surrender yourselves
I know that a great many people in Brotherhood do not fast on Thursdays. I also know that many a Brotherhood member would not eat for a week. They choose to go on dry fasting and they feel well and good. The living God converses clearly with them and they hear the still small voice. Some stay up to two weeks without food and feel strong and healthy. This gospel strengthens their faith and they should continue in that manner. It is also an encouragement for those who have not started since the general complaint is that the Father has been, silent over the issue. The Father has now openly announced that you should no longer rub any cream since it amounts to body adulteration. The body is no longer ours as we have been bought with a price. No person has a right over his body. It is only our Lord Jesus Christ who has the right over every person. We have to hearken to His instructions.
We are His house, we are His city, we are the field. Except the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain that build it; except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman watches but in vain. If God does not protect you can you protect yourself? If God does not demolish you (removing from you all kinds of infirmities) and then rebuilds you for His habitation, who else can rebuild us. The heart that had been damaged and other parts of you that were in a state of disfunction. He has come to reconstruct and to regenerate you so that you may have a share in the Kingdom of God.
How will the person who eats meat, yam porridge, pastries, eggs and other things be pure in flesh? How will a man who eats meat, fish, drinks tea, wine and snuffs, be pure in body and spirit? It is said that if the owner of the house had known when the thief would come, he would have kept watch. You better keep watch because the end is fast approaching. Even those who are not here are receiving these instructions because I am declaring them from the highest heavens. Fishes in the water, the animals of the forest, the birds of the air are all preparing to see the glory of this Kingdom and what it will come to be.
When you say God helps those who help themselves, it means living the way approved by God concerning the way you eat. Food causes you to be angry. Food contains various kinds of spirits which do not match your body constitution.
3.13 Avoid worldly adornment
It is said there is neither male nor female but that Christ is all and in all. We have to maintain low hair cuts in men and women alike. Do not wear any necklace; do not put on earrings and do not paint any part of your body. All such things are abomination and signs and works of death.
We are going to have our own city and you will not enter into it with earrings or shoes or any hair-do or hairstyle. Fruits only will be eaten in that city. If you are unable to do away with your present tendencies, it will be impossible for you to enter.
You may claim to be Obu's child or that you have been a member of Brotherhood for twenty years. I am saying that even if you have been a member for one hundred years, the hair you are plaiting, the necklaces and bangles you wear, the creams you rub disqualify you. I will tell you to get thee behind me. However you will continue as Brotherhood members in Calabar, Lagos or any other place. How will the city be conducive for you when there is neither wine, nor fornication nor the kinds of food you eat? Excessive eating will not be allowed there and the fruits will be rationed. If you do not start preparing now it means you will not have a place there because your lifestyle is not acceptable in our city.
It is said whatever is bound here on earth is bound in heaven. It is also said "Let thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is done in heaven". It is what is done in heaven that is going to be done on earth also. Those who long for this city are making preparations now. I warn you, however, not to be like the five foolish virgins who did not go with their kerosene. The issue does not call for pleading with God to forgive you. Once you are unable to resist and overcome death, death will overcome you.
Moses was shown the Promised Land but did not enter it because of exasperation that led to disobedience. My duty and yours is to war against food. Your enemy is food. Do not complain about anger or evil spirits anymore. Just practise this gospel as you go home. When you desire to eat, take one banana and drink water. Within one week you will see that you are a completely different person. Sickness and other evil spirits will disappear.
I had already told you I do not want these electric fans you fix. They are chemical products which are injurious to the body. I do not also want anything from the refrigerator. I do not want any cold water because it is poisonous drug and contains chemical. What I am preaching to you is about myself. Compare your bodies and mine and notice who looks younger and fresher. If the Father's age is mentioned, many people will be amazed yet in the next twenty years the Father will be younger than he is today. You have adulterated your bodies in so many ways and now you look wretchedly old; but day after day, out of love. God tries to rejuvenate, regenerate and reconstruct you but you are resisting. You are calling on the Holy Spirit to come to your aid. How can He when the repugnant and obnoxious odour from your body drives Him away?
3.14 The Holy Spirit the greatest physician
When the Holy Spirit wants to demolish us in order to reconstruct and rebuild us, we misconstrue His intentions and go to the hospital for treatment during which time we are given injections and tablets. The next thing is for us to die.
The grades of spiritual doctors, surgeons, paramedical staff and nurses we have in this Kingdom; the type of tablets and injections and stock of drugs we have; If your eyes were opened to behold the hospital set-up in this Kingdom, you would see clearly for yourselves that you are indeed most foolish to attend a carnal or worldly hospital.
Each and every one of us has a bodyguard and escort. All of us undergo medical check-up by our attendant doctors. There are some staying by you keeping watch over you to treat anything that affects you. This is for everybody. Right now, as you are here, food is served. This explains why you are not always hungry. If you were to keep the instructions of God, you would have enjoyed this Kingdom more than you are doing now.
God thinks about us much more than we think about ourselves. You who go to hospital have you seen the Leader go to hospital? You have been going to the hospital all your life, what good has it done to you? You often complain that I have not taught you. When have you ever seen me take drugs? I do not even keep them neither do I consult any type of physician.
When the Leader says in ten years time He will be younger than He is today, people wonder whether the man will be alive for that long. The enemies will become worried because they would not wish the Father to live that long so that they may have room to operate as they wish in the world. But I am saying, that in the next twenty years I will be younger than this. What I am telling you does not require any money. It calls for the mortification of the flesh to enable the spirit to triumph. Why you look for food, women and wealth is because of the evil spirit in you that comes from the food you eat. If you refrain from eating the kind of food you have been eating and concentrate on fruits and the purification of your body, no evil thoughts will come into you and you will be in a completely different world from the one you are.
3.15 The word of God commends us
Do you know that food is Satan? Do you know that food is evil spirit and death? At the moment what are your thoughts about? What to eat, what to put on and what to drink. You are enslaved to all these. You beat up your wife because of food; but it is said that food does not commend anybody to God for neither by eating or not are you better or worse off. Food is nothing, clothing is nothing. Perfumes and adornments are useless before God. Only the word of God can commend you to God. You have been feeling that if you go to somebody's house and he serves you various kinds of dishes and assorted drinks that the person loves you dearly. I am telling you that he is the person who hates you the most, quite apart from being the enemy of God.
Golden text: Philippians 3:18-19
"For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ; whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things."
I want you to ponder over this. If you do not bother about clothes, shoes, food, bed house of any kind and no longer put your heart in things of the world, will you quarrel with any person?
3.16 The Leader preaches about himself
I have already told you that when I first arrived Calabar, the first pot of soup I prepared cost only one penny and I used it for eight days. My clothing comprised a single pant and a sleeveless singlet. I went about in it everywhere I had to go. I am preaching about myself and not about any other person. The most costly apparel that I bought was a pant costing five pence and a sleeveless singlet which was one shilling and three pence. No matter what you eat, I am not bothered. Food, clothing and housing are nothing to me. All the things you can think of in the world have no place in my thought.
This gospel tells you how to live a pure and natural life. I am preaching myself since I am a born vegetarian. You cannot lead a man to a city you have not visited because your descriptions and directives will not be accurate. The city I am telling you about is where I come from. It is a city where gluttony and lust do not exist. Have you ever seen me grow fat and robust? For ages my size remains the same.
3.17 The Leader's food is the word of God
Many people want to know what the Leader eats and when He eats. The word of God is my food. From time immemorial, my food has always been the word of God. If you preach and practise the word of God and take delight in listening to the word of God, you have no problem. The irony of it all is that if you feed fat you will no longer hear the word of God. You will become an enemy of the word of God. That is why our Brother Paul said that they are enemies of the Cross of Christ of whom I have told you often and now tell you even weeping, whose God is their belly.
Our Lord Jesus Christ had earlier warned that you should not labour for food that perishes but for food that will endure forever which the Son of Man shall give. As I observe you are those labouring for food that perishes.
When feast is shared you will collect many plates of rice for yourself and even ask for more. That means that it is food that brought you here. You think of no other thing than to fight for food. You do the same thing with money and position. No person seeks for eternal life.
How then will the words of our Lord Jesus Christ be fulfilled in you? He says. "Thou has a few names in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white for they are worthy." (Rev. 3:4)
Right now, is your garment clean? Is your body pure and undefiled? The white garment promised you (if you are undefiled) is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is love; do you possess love? The Holy Spirit is truth. Can you tell the truth? Unless you purify yourself for the Holy Spirit to dwell and start His work, your one hundred years here cannot yield anything good. The Holy Spirit is the embodiment of God.
3.18 No evil resides in God
Be ye pure even as I am pure; no evil resides in me. No good resides in man. Man is like a cage and do what you may, he cannot be patient. Do not waste your time struggling to possess or acquire any virtue of God. It is not given to anyone. When a person shows love do not commend the person for it is God who shows that love. Do not commend any person for having faith or patience because it is God who has all these virtues. This is why Paul said:
"For the good that I would, I do not; but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is not I that do it, but the sin in me."
It was said that the Comforter, the Holy Spirit would teach you all things. Have you not realized that the Holy Spirit now teaches you? The medical doctors do not know that all the drugs they use in the hospitals are poisonous. All the food technologists, dieticians, chefs, cooks and stewards do not know that the food they prepare are poisonous to the human body and constitute death.
Do you not see how you prepare food? You cook, bake, fry, roast and toast and destroy the food contents and life. If you were to eat food in their natural form (banana, orange, mango, pineapples) you would have life abundantly in you. I am sure you will start living by these words and so you will have life.
Those who have ears to hear, let them hear and may God bless His words; Amen.
