THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD

First lesson: Matthew 23:8 "But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren” Second Lesson: Hebrews 13:1 "Let brotherly love continue." Golden Text: Romans 8:19 "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God." Brethren, the purpose of your gathering this night is to receive the words of God. You should, therefore, listen attentively in order to receive the words of life. I do not wish to overload you with a long sermon, because, this is the commencement of our Pentecostal Assembly for the end of this year. You have heard the first and second lessons and the golden text read to you, 17.1 Call no person a Teacher, Father or Lord A great many people do not understand the real meaning of "Brotherhood", since they neither know the Father nor the Son. Our Lord Jesus Christ has told us in unequivocal terms that we should not address any person as Teacher or Father or Lord because we all are brethren. So brethren here lies the target which the whole world is aiming at. Our Lord Jesus Christ died in order to deliver us from the bondage of slavery and sin so that we may become the "Sons of the Soil". You are no longer a prophet, you are no more a pastor or an evangelist, apostle but you are now a child of God. 17.2 The highest attainment is sonship of God From the foundations of the world what should have been considered as the highest degree of honour is the attainment of the sonship of God. Angels came and were known of men and they performed their duties. In the same token, the prophets, the Apostles, the Evangelists came and also did complete their assignments but the expectation of the whole world waits for the manifestation of the sons of God. You have heard about false prophets and you have also heard about deceitful apostles. You also hear about some shepherds who are hirelings. But have you heard of false children of God or deceitful children of God? This explains why the whole world has been eagerly waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God, and that is why our Lord Jesus Christ has given that injunction saying: ”love ye one another as I have loved you”, and so will every person know that you are the children of God. 17.3 The children of God revealed He has also redeemed the whole world to Himself when He said 'You are the children of God'. Why has this not been revealed? It is because the injunction of loving one another is far from being possessed in full by mankind. Our warfare is based on the claim of being the children of God. You all are true witnesses to the erroneous claim by the worldly people that God begets only one child and that Jesus Christ was the only Son of God, but that man is human. And whenever you mistakenly claim to be a child of God, but you commit theft, you will be referred to as a child of God who steals and they will hoot at you. At anytime you claim the sonship of God but you commit fornication people will ask you if God fornicates. 17.4 Love, the identity of the children of God Right now in Brotherhood a great many people are arguing that certificates should be given or special seal used to identify members. Have you not seen the identity, the certificate, the seal? These are not written physically. The identity of the children of God is love which is not written on them neither is it inscribed on ones dress but it is the expression of love wherever you are. Whether in London, America, India or Russia once you show the expression of love, one towards the other, then is it the love of God. 17.5 Love, the gateway to the kingdom What I tell you now does not relate only to the church, the school, the prayer house, the village or the city, neither does it relate to the black race nor the white race but the implication is that all those who love the brethren are begotten of God. If you like to preach the contents of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation of John the Divine and quote as many portion of the Holy books without love you can not enter the Kingdom of God. The divine arrangement in this kingdom follows a similar pattern. The position in this kingdom does not depend upon noise making or high sounding and eloquent English or any other language, and it is not based on long flowing garments with the name ''Jesus” or other names inscribed on them. It is rather based on love. Do you possess love? 17.6 The children of God are the only sons of the soil in the kingdom This kingdom belongs to the children of God alone, it does not belong to the angels or other phenomena. They have been fore ordained to rule over all creations of God. Remember the utterances of the two thieves crucified with our Lord Jesus Christ. One of them told Him "Lord remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom” and our Lord Jesus Christ told him “Verily, I say unto thee, today should thou be with me in paradise”. Now is the time the children of God are destined to rule. The world is in great sorrow and heaven and earth have been shaken to their very foundations for ever. In the world, before you attain the height of professorship, it will cost you not only money but also time and energy. To become a prophet, one has to forsake sin. If you do not refrain from all manners of sin you cannot become a prophet. Before you assume any position in the presence of God, you have to abstain from all forms of sin. If you have to fulfill all these conditions before you are given these inferior positions how much more the position of the sonship of God. 17.7 You reject the doctrine of the Christ since you are not a child of God If you are not a child of God it means that you have neither accepted the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ nor practised His doctrines. It means also that you are not with Him. And our Lord Jesus Christ says "Whosoever is not with me is against me". Whosoever does not gather with me scatters abroad. If you claim that you are not a child of God, it stands to reason that you are an anti-Christ. It means also that if you have no love you ' are scattering abroad. And nothing qualifies us for this kingdom except by possessing love. No matter how wealthy you may be, that cannot make you a child of God. No matter the number of prominent children you have, that does not qualify you as a child of God. Your acquisition of multiple doctorate degrees and your appointment as professor of several disciplines cannot qualify you for the sonship of God either. That is why I always tell you that the term Brotherhood is not understood by a great many of you. To be called a Brotherhood is one thing but the function of Brotherhood is quite another thing and it is where complication sets in. To be a devoted Brotherhood member means that you have to love the brethren, indeed all human beings in the same way throughout the world. It is said whoever enters the house through the window or any other entrance is a thief and robber. 17.8 Brotherhood is love Whoever professes to be a child of God, a Brotherhood but he is a thief, a liar, a fornicator, a person who indulges in the preparations of concoction, he is a thief and a robber and not a child of God. But whosoever passes through the main door into the house such is a good shepherd. This means that whoever possesses love, loves every person in the same way, whether such person is evil or good, white, black or coloured. Such is a real Brotherhood. Why I continue to impart the lessons on love to you from January 1st to December 31st is that, this is the only lesson which, hitherto, has not been imparted to you. You had been awarded with the lowest degrees but the highest degree and qualification which makes you a child of God is the lesson on the efficacy of love. If you deny that you are not Brotherhood what are you? If you do not want to be called the child of God, whose child are you? Brotherhood means the children of God and children of God are spirited children. In effect, that is what you are but if you have no love, can you realise that you are deceiving yourself? If you do not love every person as our Lord Jesus Christ loves us, if you sow the seeds of division and segregation, if you do not have equal regard for all, it means you are not Brotherhood. 17.9 Our Lord Jesus Christ is love Our Lord Jesus Christ has taught you about Brotherhood, He is Brotherhood, the Son of God, who loves every person in the same way regardless of colour and .position. He was not identified as the Son of God because of raising the dead, or making the lame to walk, but He was identified as the Son of God because He loved all in the same way. No person can become a Lord, but Brotherhood is the Lord. No person can become a teacher, but Brotherhood is the only Teacher, and no person can become a leader but Brotherhood is the only Leader. The die is now cast for our Lord Jesus Christ to assume His reign both in heaven and on earth, and the children of God who were with Him from the beginning of the world must also rule with Him eternally. As you had struggled in the past to get money, beget children, pass your examination, struggle in the same vein so that you can become the actual child of God, who is in this kingdom. If you profess to be Brotherhood, your behaviour, your ways of life must be commensurate with your claim. Brethren, I do not want to continue to overload you, our first lesson will now be read. First lesson Matthew 23:8 "But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren” Brethren, who has spoken these words? God is speaking. It is said all of us are His children. All whites, blacks and the coloured, all babies, all infants all adults and old men and all babies yet unborn are the children of the Father, they are all brethren. 17.10 Christ the propagator of the culture of the kingdom Why is this not made manifest? It is because the inhabitants of the world have no love. This is so because all phenomena, all elements, all angels, all men, good or evil even Satan know that God is love, mercy and truth. He is also humility. Every person including a small baby knows that God does not commit sin. Every person knows that our Lord Jesus Christ is love. He is the truth. He is humility. He is righteousness, He is meekness and lowliness of heart and peace. No person can say that this assertion is wrong, or that Jehovah God and His Christ do not have these attributes. This explains most conclusively why somebody denies that he is the son of God. You say our Lord Jesus Christ was the only Son of God, and that man is human. And whenever you mistakenly claim to be a child of God, but you commit theft, you will be referred to as a child of God who steals and they will sneer at you. At anytime you claim the sonship of God but you commit fornication people will ask you if God fornicates. 7.11 Love, the gateway to the kingdom If you like preach the contents of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation of John the Divine and quote as many passages as you can, but if you lack the attributes of love, you are not a child of God. You may be very good visioner, able to know the time God created man, when He did not create the whole world, but if you do not love all men, your vision is vain. If you have faith to such an extent that you order that the mountains be removed from hence and taken to another place, raise the dead, make the lame to walk, the blind to see and the lepers cleansed and manufacture something to fly in the sky but if you have no love, you score a zero. 17.12 The Saints, Apostles, Prophets of old are here There is, therefore, nothing else remaining behind whether in visions, or in reading the Bible. What remains to be done is "Love" and when you have it you pass into the Father1s glory. Some of you here were prophets in the past generation, some were angels, some were apostles, some were elders and some were Reverend gentlemen, but seize this opportunity to help yourself and pass into the position of the child of God, Some teachers are holders of only the First School Leaving Certificate, and they are usually disgraced by others. To avoid the embarrassing situation of being disgraced, they took common entrance and gained entry into the Teacher Training College. After passing through that they took courses, gained admission into the university and at the end they graduated. So it is in this kingdom. If the position you occupy here is not satisfactory, struggle to assume the position of the son of God. 17.13 A sinner is a slave for ever Our Lord Jesus Christ had told His apostles If you do whatsoever I command you henceforth I call you not servants for the .servant does not know what his lord does, but I have called you friends. He also told them Verily, verily I say unto you, whosoever commits sin is a servant of sin and the servant does not abide, in the house forever but the son abides forever. There is no place left for servants and slaves. The position to occupy now is that of the son of God. Why a great many people are afflicted with sickness, death, poverty and wretchedness, beset with punishment and problems, why they go to war and lead life abominable in the sight of God is because of sin. They have not yet assumed the position of the sonship of God, That is why you are advised to be perfect as your heavenly Father .is perfect. If we do not show ourselves as the children of God, what is our use? This is so because no other position can give us life, peace and salvation to the whole world. 17.14 Only our Lord Jesus Christ can save: We have prophets, apostles, evangelists, pastors, bishops, archbishops and popes, elders and deaconess but none of these can save us except our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. That is why a great many of you complain that you have problems. Yes, whoever commits sin has problems but if you have love you have no problems again. We are all brethren, all the whites are our brethren, all the blacks and coloured are our brethren, all men and women are our brethren, and children of God. As the children of God we have to love ourselves. If you had known the meaning of the word, "Brotherhood" you would not be intimate with somebody's wife, you would not steal, you would not tell lies to your fellow human being, you would not be exasperated, you would not impute sins on any person and you would not do evil towards any person. 17.15 The unlimited Brotherhood The word brethren which has become a household word in this kingdom is invariably Brotherhood. It does not relate to the patrilineal or matrilineal descent which is very limited. But the unlimited Brotherhood includes all the creation of God: angels, spirits, animals in the bush, birds of the air, fishes in water, trees in the forest and. creeping things. They are our brethren, you should, therefore, not do anything harmful to any of the created things. 17.16 Men and animals are brethren You recall the vision of John the Divine. When he saw the angel he fell at his feet to worship him but the angel told him, see thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy. This explains why we eat no meat, why you should not kill any fish, or animal, or bird, or lizard or anything other thing because they are all your brothers and sisters. If you do not have to kill any of these how much more a human being? If you kill a human being, you have erred grievously. Have you not heard that in the beginning men and animals lived together? They were all brothers and sisters. There was no killing of fish, animal, bird or serpent because all of them were brothers and therefore, no creature devoured the other. Who created you and who created the animal? Was it not God who created all? Who created you and who created the angel was it not the same God? Who created water and made the fire? Was it not the same God? Who created heaven and earth? Is it not the same God? What is now your relationship with them? Are you not brethren? The conglomeration of these created things is the Brotherhood we preach. 17.17 If you have love, death has no dominion over you The actual children of God have neither the beginning of days nor end of life. For that reason we have to love all the brethren. Fish is your brother, animal is your brother, ant is your brother, rain, fire, scourging heat of the sun are your brethren. There is therefore, no more segregation or separateness among these creations. You must, of necessity, accept and regard them as your brethren, and also love them equally. Death, which is an angel, is your brother. The hades, an angel also is your brother, Lucifer, which is an angel is also your brother. Do you realise that if you have love for everything these angels will bow down to worship you? 17.18 Everything knows Brotherhood except manYou can deceive a human being that you are Brotherhood, but you cannot deceive Lucifer, death and hades that you are Brotherhood, because they really know Brotherhood. The sun, moon, fire, water, dry land, soil, angel all know Brotherhood. Only mankind has not known Brotherhood, and it is hidden to man. Remember when certain vagabond Jews exorcists took upon them to cure somebody which had evil spirits in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ saying, we adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preached. The seven sons of Sceva, a Jew and chief of the priests did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know but who are you? The man in whom the evil spirit was, leaped on them and overcame them, and prevailed against them so that they fled out of the house naked and wounded. It is said, learn a parable from the fig tree. 17.19 The glory of Brotherhood made manifest You now profess that you are a Brotherhood, but if you are found drinking in a bar or hotel and somebody asks you what church you belong to, should you tell him that you are a member of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, he will tell you to shut up for you are not a Brotherhood member because Brotherhood of the Cross and Star does not drink any liquor or wine or strong drink. When you visit the necromancer, that you refer to as Satanic and Luciferous, to consult an oracle, he will inquire to know which church denomination you belong. If you answer that you are a Brotherhood, he will rebuke you and tell you that you are not a Brotherhood because he knows that Brotherhood does not consult oracles and if you were a Brotherhood you would not have gone to his house, to consult oracle. Will you be surprised that he testifies openly that Brotherhood has nothing to do with oracles? Even thieves and robbers know Brotherhood. If a thief steals your property and perchance you catch him and report him to the police and hand him over to the police, and supposing you tell the police that you are a Brotherhood, they will not believe you because the police knows that if you were a Brotherhood, you would not have taken the thief to them. The statement by the police is true because Brotherhood does not lodge any report to the police, does not sue any person to court and does not sue the culprit. In Brotherhood there is every truth in the slogan "As the Father likes it". In the same token, if as a landlord, somebody is owing you house rent for several months and you sue him before the rent tribunal or report the case to the police and while there you tell the police or the chairman of the tribunal that you are a Brotherhood member none of them will believe you because they are perfectly aware that Brotherhood of the Cross and star does not sue any person no matter the offence committed against them. Every time you contemplate and deliberate upon the use of Identity Card in Brotherhood. But do you not realise that all of you have Identity Cards which are inside your heart? You go about collecting various sums of money from people under the name of business. You steal and collect money either in an extortionate way or under false pretences but profess that you are a Brotherhood. What type of Brotherhood are you? Brethren, our second lesson will now be read. Listen attentively and you will realise the Identity Card. It is the godly attributes embedded in your body. Second lesson Hebrew 13:1 "Let brotherly love continue." Brethren, what is read to you is your Identity Card. What is read to you is that name which is not written with ink. The text used in opening the Pentecostal Assembly today is that second lesson which says 'Let brotherly, Love continue', If you have been forgetful of all the gospels preached, to you since your advent into this earthly plane, do not be forgetful of the gospel of this night because this gospel has entered into you body. It has circulated in your blood stream, it has permeated into the, bones, flesh and intestines, and has reached the joints and marrow. 17.20 Extend brotherly love to criminals also You are a Brotherhood and so is a thief, a murderer, a necromancer, a mermaid priest but you should allow that brotherly love to continue. What man of you having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, would he not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one which was lost until he finds it. So is it with us. As our Lord Jesus Christ gave His life for our sake, we also ought to give our lives for the sake of thieves, fornicators, drunkards, murderers, liars, deceitful persons, crafty persons and blasphemers against the name of God by loving them and tolerating them. 17.21 Satan is a child of God with a difference Has our Lord Jesus Christ not enjoined us saying "Love your enemies, bless them who curse you, do good to them who hate you and pray for them who despitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be the children of your Father who is in heaven”. When you erroneously complain that you are the only Brotherhood in your family or in your village or town, are you not a liar? Have you not heard that when all the children of God went to worship God, Satan also went. As the children of God presented themselves to God, Satan also presented himself. God asked Satan “whence comest thou?” Then Satan answered and said, “From going to and fro in the earth and from walking up and down in it”. And God said to Satan “Have you considered my servant Job that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright, man, one who fears God and eschews evils?” Then Satan said, “does Job fear God for nought, have you not made an hedge about him and above his house and about all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth your hand now and touch all he has whether he will not curse you to your face.” 17.22 Satan is the flesh From this story, you can realise that Satan is disobedient and recalcitrant, a drunkard, a fornicator. He brings about sin, falsehood, theft, fornication, division and exasperation. Satan is the spirit of error and error leads to disobedience and sin. He brings about those ways of life or behaviour which do not emanate from God but from the flesh. These are vices, sins and crimes. That is why it is not referred to as the Spirit. There is only one Spirit, and God is invariably the Spirit. 17.23 Serpent is lust of the flesh Do not make the mistake when you are told that it was the serpent who deceived Eve. It was not the serpent, it was lustful desires. When you have lust and affections for everything you see, these lusts and affection and desires are what we refer to as Satan. What is described as Satan is this lust or desire. The flesh is also the lust and desire. But as of now since we are the children of God, we have been enjoined that we should allow our brotherly love continue at every moment of our lives in the morning, in the evening, in the day, at. night, at dawn and at dusk. Let the gospel of today on brotherly love be registered indelibly in your hearts. Let brotherly love continue. If you do not love your brother you see and walk with, how will you love God whom you have not seen? Whosoever loves God must also love the brother he sees. All the claims made by people that they are Roman Catholics, or Presbyterians, or Lutherans or Methodists, Apostolic or Rosicrucian, but they persist in stealing and swindling, fornication, adultery, drinking, taking snuff and hating others, show that they are deceiving themselves and others. In other instances you are calling 'Jesus, Jesus' but you steal, commit murder and tell lies, which Jesus are you calling? The second lesson has advised us in unequivocal terms that we should let brotherly love continue. This gospel ushers in this end of year Pentecostal and the text should remain in your minds as a watch word throughout this Pentecostal Assembly. 17.24 Be your brother’s keeper Let brotherly love continue. Inside your family and outside it any person you see is a brother, a child of God, you should love him as he is the person you see. If on the course of your journey you find people involved in a motor accident, stop your car, go out immediately, and help to take out the occupants from the damaged car. Give them first aid, Whatever assistance you can offer please do, and help to convey them to places of treatment. While you are traveling by ship somebody complains to you that pick pockets have snatched his money and that he has no money to pay his fare, buy ticket for him and give him money. If you find somebody along the street who cries and laments that he has no money to buy food, give him money and food. DO not ask questions; do not demand any explanation from him for anything. Give him money, food and clothing. That is exactly what you are expected to do to let that brotherly love continue. When you are confronted with such a situation, attend to the person promptly, it does not require any preparation, or dream or vision or reading from the Bible. The man is directly in front of you. Just allow that brotherly love to continue and be extended to him. As you are now for the Pentecostal Assembly, if you come across somebody on the way who complains that he wants to go somewhere but he neither has the money for his transport nor does he know the way, escort him immediately to his destination and there give him some money. Do not tell him you cannot escort him because you are rushing to Ambo to attend service and worship with the Father. If you do that you have failed. 17.25 The reciprocity of love What does the work of God consist in? It consists in brotherly love. When you search the scriptures you will come to the realization of the reciprocity of love, making mutual concessions, the principle of give and take. If we maintain this reciprocity, which makes us symbiotically associated, then we have touched the core of the real work of 'God. It is by such a gesture that you are revealed as a child of God. If we nurture this symbiotic relationship, we will be revealed as the children of God. If you like, experiment on this gospel and show the expression of fervent charity in your family, in your office, at the market square, when you are traveling, and see whether people will not refer to you as a child of God. Do not put on the white raiment, do not hold the Bible, do not preach or sing or pray, do not inscribe any name anywhere, but if you put on this armour of love, people will begin to refer to you as a child of God. Additionally death, hades, sickness, poverty, wretchedness, the elements and firmament and your enemies will submit unto you. Brethren, I do not wish to take you further than this, our golden text will now be read Golden text Romans 8:19 "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God." Brethren, have you heard what is read unto you? As long as we love in reciprocity then shall we be revealed as the children of God," Conversely as long as you are quarrelsome, pugnacious, antagonistic; if you blackmail and devour one another, take heed that you be not consumed one of another and thus reveal yourselves as the children of Satan. 17.26 A tree is known by its fruits If you prepare the most delicious dishes in the world and keep them for people and also pack money in cartons for those who lust after them, for as long as there is quarrelling and fighting amongst people in such places, take your exit from there for God does not exist there, and the children of God cannot be found there. Conversely if this place is packed full with rubbish the premises is filthy and unkempt and fuming with obnoxious dour, but you find people singing and dancing, and they show all expression of the attributes of love, honesty, humility, patience and temperance, people will testify that God is in the place and that the children of God are there. 17.27 Monotony kills the eye Know this that the most precious and most covetous position is that of the sonship of God. When the children of God are revealed God Himself is surely manifested also. A local adage has it that when a child dances very flexibly and dexterously for a prolonged period the spectators will be told by the father's creditor that as he is dancing, the father was indebted to him for ten naira. Watch carefully, when you practise the words of God. If you do not do it perfectly people will accuse you of not being a good man of God. It is for your sake that people speak evil against God. All the blasphemous utterances against God are due to your inability to love one another. 17.28 Assist a criminal to overcome his difficulties If a man is a thief, a murderer or a fornicator, when he is beset with any difficulty you visit him. Lift him up, give him food and buy a bicycle for him. He will quickly follow you to the church, he will plead with God that it is not his pleasure to steal and kill and that God should forgive him and that he will not steal again. Thereafter he carries the bicycle away. He will definitely regard you as a man of God. When you are told that somebody has committed theft, murder, or any other crime or vice, do not judge and condemn him. Rather go near to him and ask why he committed the particular sin and if you endeavour to rectify the situation you will soon discover that he is a child of God once you assist him to overcome his difficulties. 17.29 The rich will be consumed unless they serve God with their money There is no person who does not love God. The trouble is that those to whom God has bestowed material wealth, are reluctant in using their money in the service of God. They use the money for their self aggrandisement as if the money were their bonafide property. That is why people argue that God does not exist. When you refer to James 5: 1 - 5, you will find what will happen to the rich men of this world. Their bodies will be consumed by fire because through their ingratitude, people blaspheme against the .name of God and refuse to go to God. For that reason fire consumes them. 17.30 Use your substance in the service of God To be rich and wealthy is not evil. All material things are good but if you do not use the money to assist other brothers less fortunate than yourself, if brotherly love no longer exists you will notice that you have disgraced God and for that reason people blaspheme against the name of God, If Abraham had not divided all the spoils of war into ten places and given one place to Melchizedek, how would he have received the abundant blessing of God, which endures till today 17.31 God owns everything The people of this generation argue that God is not interested in money, wealth, children, clothing, shoes and that God wants the heart but they want these carnal things. You asked God to give you money, children, motor car, or house but you argue that God does not want these things. What do you want to use these things for? When He bestows these things on you, you refuse to use them in His own service. It is for this reason that the work of God has not expanded as it should have been, and people are arguing that there are no children of God. Do not be deceived; the taste of the pudding is in the eating. After preparing food, unless it is eaten you will not know whether or not it is delicious. 17.32 The work of God should be rewarding. If a man serves God but he goes naked, has no dwelling place but when he serves Satan and Satan motivates him by building a house for him, buying a car for him and buying clothes and other things, who will ever go to God? No person. Every person will go to Satan in order to receive the material things. Who had a good and dutiful son and will not be happy with him? If you have one million naira in your house and somebody gives you even one naira extra, you will be very happy. If you have one hundred cars and somebody gives you one more car, you would be happy about it. Why is it that you have bluntly refused to love your brethren? It is uncommon to find a man owning several storey buildings but someone have only church premises to lay down their heads. They borrows money to build a very small building, but you find one person owning many storey buildings. Is that how to show the love of God? 17.33 Love is at variance with darkness Have you not heard that Solomon alone built a house for God? People greater than Solomon are here. Why can they not erect houses for God? It is out of the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks. When you realise what God is to you, how He has come as your Father, you will do all you can to glorify Him. And because of that people will proclaim that God is on earth. Brethren, I do not want to go on with you further than that. This is the time to reveal the sons of God. When a worldly man gives you one naira, within one week, you will pay him his naira and another naira as profit, but the children of God will give out the one naira without asking for it again, so that their brother will use it. Do you not see that by such benevolence the children of God are revealed? 17.34 Eagles gather where carcass is It is this love that is employed to destroy the work of darkness. Wherever you go to, be kind and benevolent. Whoever has no money, you give money, whoever has no dwelling place, provide him with an accommodation. Such actions reveal the children of God and men of all walks of life will come because wherever there is carcass there will the eagles gather. Be humble, be patient, be loving, be meek and lowly in heart and live peaceably with all men. You are not respected because you are a pastor, or a bishop or pope or deaconess, or lawyer or professor. If you are respected it is for that love. Show the expression of love and you will be manifested as a child of God.
