Everlasting Gospel
Beloved, the main point of our text of discourse is on the empty and indeed, misleading inventions and teachings of man. Various misleading teachings have been brought into the world by different church denominations, religious organisations and some so called secret societies. Therefore, beware! Else, you would be misled. There is no eternal life in all the church denominations that abound in this world. The teachings imparted there are counterfeit, empty and void. Aside from the teachings of the Holy Spirit that the Father imparts to you here in the Kingdom, there is no other place such teachings abound. Therefore, shun all other teachings and hold firm to the teachings of this kingdom, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.
The leaven of the Pharisees, you must note, does not mean the bread you eat but the diverse misleading doctrines, and teachings that existed by then which are increasingly imbibed today. Read Matthew 16: 6-12; John 10: 1- 8
21.1 The church denominations are worldly
Know from now that the church denominations, the world over, are indeed worldly. This is because none of them preaches and practises the doctrines and the teachings of Christ. The teachings of Christ require leading exemplary lives. That is a person who has love and mercy should express these attributes for others to emulate. In order to be worthy of Christ, you must live by examples. One who proclaims Christ only with his lips without emulating His footsteps is not worthy of Him. In fact, such a person is not a true disciple of Christ. The teachings of Christ require abhorring segregation, anger and other vices. Or simply, it requires leading a righteous life. What exists in the world today is the spirit of division and segregation. That is why a member of one religious group would find it extremely difficult to embrace and receive a member of some other religious groups. This is not practised in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. We are bound by the Spirit of love and oneness. This is the teaching of Christ which you must adhere to at all times. Do not imbibe any other teaching that is at variance with this, else, you will find yourself ejected from God's kingdom. All the churches and religions and their members are carnally minded therefore, do not hearken unto them. You must not adhere to societal norms and traditions that are at variance with the teachings of Christ if you expect to have a share in God's kingdom. In the world, you are taught to be violent, and vindictive, hence, any one who acts contrary to these ways is said to be a coward. Shun such teachings and turn to the divine teachings imparted by the Holy Spirit in this Kingdom.
21.2 Their teachings mislead man
The world argues that the issue of man not eating meat and fish has no spiritual support. They would even refer you to what is nominated in 1st Timothy 4:1-5
"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils:
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer."
The above is biblical excerpt which they do not even know the actual meaning. It is high time you refrained from the eating of fish and meat and all other acts that defile the body. The time is now for us to purify our bodies for the Holy Spirit to indwell. Note that it is only the teaching taught here that qualify the entire inhabitants of the world to come into God's kingdom. Shun other teachings from religions, churches, traditionalists and patriarchs of old for such will not lead you to any useful purpose. Keep to the teachings of Christ as given in this Kingdom.
Read John 14:6-12
Beloved, the entire world, churches and other religious organisations in it are without God's teachings. The true and sound teachings can only be obtained in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and these are the teachings that would salvage the entire world.
21.3 Some of Christ's teaching were worldly
Note also that the earlier Christ's teachings were seasoned with division and worldliness. For example, He commanded His disciples not to go among the Gentiles but to restrict their activities only to the lost sheep of Israel. However, in his subsequent teachings, He clearly told us that His mission was to come and die as a ransom for the unity and salvation of the human race. The death of Christ put an end to the works of the flesh and paved way for sound teachings, the concept of love and oneness. Christ knew that His work was not perfect, hence, He emphatically said in John 16:12-15.
"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into a// truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will. show you things to come.
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.”
Beloved, it is only the Holy Spirit that can lead the world aright.
Read 2 Timothy 3:1-8.
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shalt come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient, to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith."
21.4 The world is filled with false teachings
Are the things read to you not happening in the world today? Hitherto, people criticised Brotherhood of the Cross and Star for observing fasting and abstaining from eating of fish and meat. But what is the situation today? Have the worldly people not emulated these practices of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star? Gradually, they will imbibe all other teachings and practices of this kingdom. It was seventy years after the death and resurrection of Christ that the people of Israel sought a republic from the Roman empire. As a result of this, fierce war broke out between the two sections. The people of Israel on the one hand and the Roman empire on the other fought. The tide of the war was so high that majority of the Israelites were exterminated. Only ninety thousand were left. The said ninety thousand were those who climbed and hid on the mountain's top and who never knew anything about God. This ninety thousand people dispersed to different nations like Russia, Germany, Ethiopia, America and the rest of the nations later on. They are the ancestors of present day Isrealis.
21.5 The origin of false doctrine
And three hundred years later, the Roman Catholic church started to operate. This story is very symbolic when you refer to what the scripture records in II Timothy 4:1-5.
"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
God is all knowing. He is the Master planner who knows how best to design His affairs. He knows all things that will happen in the next two or three thousand years and ever. Nothing had ever taken Him unawares. This is why it is said that if you are spiritually-minded, you will be ready for whatever is coming ahead. If you live in the flesh and are not precautionary, you will be overtaken by events.
Brethren, after a period of about three hundred years, the Roman Catholic Church came into existence legally. It was Pope Boniface and other Roman Catholic members who founded it. They did not know the true doctrines or teachings of Christ, for people like Peter and other close followers of Christ who would have taught them the ways of Christ had been killed. Thus, they did not have those to guide them to the true path of Christ. You have now seen that the system and doctrines introduced by these early founders were adulterated, thus confusion and misleading doctrines set in and were circulated to new believers.
The religious system formented chaos and caused untold havoc. The teachings of Christ have been adulterated and thus have plunged the world into her present lamentable state. What is found in II Timothy 4:3 has manifested today. The people of today no longer endure sound teachings. None in the world knows what would happen in this world in the next century because nobody has reached the accurate knowledge of the truth. The teachings imparted to you in this kingdom are what will lead you to the accurate knowledge of the truth. You are enjoined to adhere to them in order not to be taken unawares in future. For you do not know what would transpire in the next two or three thousand years. Adhere to these sound teachings for they are meant for the children of God. All other teachings are deceitful and dangerous for your consumption and will not lead you into eternal life .
21.6 Distortion of the divine teachings of Jesus Christ
There also emerged Martin Luther a German who once went to Italy to acquire knowledge in the seminary as they called their institution of learning. During holidays, he went into the remote areas of Italy and there, he realised that the people he discovered there were the remnants of Christ's followers and that the teachings embraced by them were very unique compared to the ones he studied in the seminary which were also said to be the teachings of Christ. These remnants of the followers of Jesus Christ practised abstinence from fish, meat and killing. They embraced the doctrines of oneness and love as practised in, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. These teachings astounded Martin Luther because there were unique compared to what he was taught in the seminary. And on this note, he framed ninety-nine questions and threw same to the Roman Catholics hierarchy who could not provide answers. This generated disaffection among the people and later resulted in what was called "The Holy Wars". This war led to the killing of many Christians.
If, as it is now claimed by them that Peter was the most intimate disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ why did they have to kill him, the person who would have shown them the way? This is the cause of the untold chaos now prevalent in the world. Some of the teachings that abound in some churches are at variance with that of Christ. If critically examined, it would be realised that some of the teachings have to do with the worship of elementary spirits. They have to a great extent, disorganised things in the religious system. But for the fact that God is omnipotent, it would not have been so easy to streamline things again in the system of God's true teaching to man.
21.7 The coming of the Holy Spirit foretold in Islam
If you take your mind back the lane of history, you would recall that when Holy Prophet Mohammed, the founder of Islam, was about to die, his followers asked him to tell them what their fate would be when he must have died. Prophet Mohammed told them that he was empty and void, hence, he cannot save himself, or his followers. But that when the Holy Spirit comes, He will lead their path. This statement is still fresh in the minds of the Moslems. Therefore, any Christian who is not serious shall be overtaken by the Moslems who are coming in great numbers. The Moslems have accepted the Holy Spirit because His coming marks the manifestation of what their Leader Holy Prophet Mohammed told them many centuries ago. And according to the scriptures, it is this Holy Spirit that will lead the entire world to the accurate knowledge of the truth. We are now at the tail end of the twentieth century, the age in which all the spoken words of God have fully manifested and the Holy Spirit has come. No wonder all roads of various religions such as the Bahai Faith, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism now lead to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star; the base of the Holy Spirit. Very soon, we shall have in the world "one flock under one Shepherd".
