Everlasting Gospel
First lesson: Matthew 7:6
“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you”.

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord”.
6.1 An evil generation
God is truth and whatever He says is nothing but the truth. You have been advised not to give that which is holy to the dogs, and that you should not cast your pearl before the swine; lest they trample upon it. This is exactly what is happening in the world today. The whole world does not accept Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. The people do not realise the need to get into the Ark of salvation and safety which is now open. They fail to know that their salvation lies in the teachings derivable from Brotherhood of the Cross and star. Instead, they resort to vilifying the kingdom and its leadership. But in spite of that their salvation is derived here. The blind are made to see, the deaf are made to hear, the dumb speak and the lame walk. These and many more are made possible by the Holy Spirit. Yet none receives Him or is ready to listen and practise His teachings. Inspite of the free services rendered by this fold yet none recognises Him. Instead it is the robbers, fornicators, adulterers, idolaters, dupes liars, murderers that are regarded as saviours of this world. Sinners are regarded as righteous people while Brotherhood is referred to as Beelzebub, vampire and demon.
This is exactly what they did to our Lord Jesus Christ. He raised the dead, healed the sick, restored sight to the blind, cleansed the leper, and cast out demons, yet He was accused of causing confusion in the world. This is why you are warned not to cast your pearls before the swine else they trample on it and turn against you.
6.2 The world hates righteous people
If you inform a person about what Brotherhood has done in the world to restore peace to mankind he will not believe you. Instead he will contest the fact that any man can also perform that. But as soon as you speak ills against Brotherhood all will support you. The world hates anyone who is truthful, merciful, humble, and righteous. The people do not even want to see such people. They like evil persons and are ready to accept them with open hands. You should recall what happened during the trial of our Lord Jesus Christ. A notorious robber, Barrabas, was rather asked to be released while our Lord Jesus Christ should be executed. Imagine the attitude of the people in rejecting the Messiah openly but accepting a murderer; of course, it is a confirmation of the scripture that you should not put your treasure before the swine for they know not its value. You should also recall how our Lord Jesus Christ was tortured and finally nailed to the cross like a heinous criminal. He was spat upon and vilified.
The same treatment has been extended to the elect of God in this generation while the wicked,are the sinners are favoured and treated with honour. The people of the world did not kill Him for the sake of fulfilling what was written about Him and the salvation of man, rather He was killed as a murderer, a robber, and an insurrectionist. He was condemned as one that has committed the worst crime. Crucifixion was a capital punishment that went with a capital offence It could be likened to facing firing squad or hanging as a result of committing treason or armed robbery. That was how our Lord Jesus Christ was treated. Imagine our only source of glory, salvation and life being treated in that manner. The world is in a very pitiable condition.
6.3 The world loves evil people
The world rejoices and accepts murderers, idol worshippers, fornicators and railers but despises the righteous. When you were a drunkard, a fornicator, a murderer, and a liar people regarded you as god. But having seen the light thus forsaking those things and living a just and godly life, they now despise you. They no more see anything good in you. Do not be despondent but you should always be guided by the advice that you should avoid throwing your treasure to the swine for they will trample upon it and turn against you.
6.4 Even brethren here derail
If you were to go to a herbalist or necromancer where candles are lit, incense burnt, perfume sprayed, and animals sacrificed would you not obey the rules and regulations of his shrine? Here in the kingdom of God such things are not done at all. It is because of this freedom that many of you do not observe the commandments in this kingdom. You have trampled on the treasure set before you. You fight, struggle and make a noise even when the Father is right in your midst physically.
If you are in any out-station, say Abasi Oburi bethel here in Calabar you cannot put up the type of behaviour you demonstrate here in the headquarters. This is because the moment you deviate from the set rules and regulations, you are made to face instant sanction. But here at the Headquarters (34 Ambo Street), you feel it is owned by nobody, hence you behave unruly even in the presence of the Father. You always believe that the Father would not punish you at all.
The question is, why is it that you do not behave in that way at home, schools, offices and clubs?
6.5 Humble yourself
Have you now realised that you do not deserve to be presented with anything treasurable? Many reasonable people shed tears whenever they come here and see you behave so unseemingly in my presence. You fight, fornicate, discriminate and plot evil against one another even here in the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star premises not minding my presence. Even the angels shed tears when you put up such rough behaviours before the Holy Father.
If you go to the worldly court, you are warned not to make a noise. If you make noise you are instantly charged for contempt. But here in the throne of God you do not humble yourself nor reverence God. Whatever is forbidden in the world is what you practise in the kingdom of God. If you were not a troublesome person in the world, as soon as you get baptised into the fold, you feel cheated to continue to be humble. You cause trouble and show disrespectful attitude. The truth is that, you cannot do what you practise here in a secular setting.
The word of God is true as God Himself is truth. Would you believe that the Almighty God condescends to personally come to stay with man yet none treats Him with reverence. You despise and trample on Him. Of all the insults you mete to Him, has He reacted in self defense?
6.6 Give reverence to God
Today you have been advised to live in peace and righteousness with all men without which none can see the Lord. Except you forsake all manners of sin, you cannot possess love nor God and without these, you cannot see Him. It is a condition that for you to forsake sin you must obey your Creator. You should recall your former situation before you came into this fold. You had said all sorts of evil things against the Father. You swore over your dead body you would never put on the white soutane not to talk of bowing down to worship Him. But eventually you were called. Have you not done all the things you swore never to do? Have you not seen a remarkable change in your life? You were calling Brotherhood all names, such as vampire, blood-sucker, demon, mermaid and Beelzebub. But now you have been called into the fold. Do you not now shed tears on hearing people say evil against Brotherhood?
6.7 The world is swine
The world is indeed swine, the people prefer rubbish to treasure. They prefer murderers, robbers, fornicators, revelers and idolater to a righteous man. They hate God on whom their lives and salvation depend. They love evil but despise God.
6.8 God is merciful
In spite of God's mercy and love for mankind yet none is ready to listen to Him. Man exalts Satan but despises God The original owner of the house, the landlord is ejected while a foreign body, the evil is invited and accommodated. You should always pay attention to the word of God whenever you are given the opportunity to hear. Then after the gospel when you get to your house ponder over it and take to the advice in your interest. Even though your parents, relations and friends are not Brotherhood yet they are saved and catered for by this same Brotherhood. Your village and country and even the entire world are saved by Him alone yet none wants to hear of His name. Take the case of Ukwa Ibom, Achara, and Ihe etc. into consideration. Without timely intervention of the Holy Spirit, would there have lived any human being in those Communities by now? Yet they despise Him and say all evil things against Him. They rather wish He should die.
6.9 Be steadfast to your Creator
Today they have all gone back to worship their idols which they had abandoned in times of hardship and stress. This is the reason you have been told not to cast your pearl before the swine, lest they trample on it. These communities are few examples. There are others too that have taken the same lines. They have foresaken God and gone back to their old ways.
In spite of this, others still come here whenever they have problems. Some backslide after being rescued from one form of trouble or the other. Take for instance a place like Aguagunne, inspite of the fact that the entire community was rescued by Brotherhood, the only Bethel in the place has been abandoned. All the baptised members have all backslided and taken to idolatry. Still, Brotherhood does not relent in giving sucour to those that are in need.
The people of the world do not appreciate God's benevolence in any way. Rather, they delight in disgracing Him and His elects. Even when you have time to share the word of God with them they revile and threaten your life.
The sinners of the world are referred to as Jesus while the Holy Spirit is seen as the Leader of Satan in Nigeria. But when the unexpected happens, they run to Him for help. And they are always quick at referring people to Brotherhood for solutions to their problems.
The world has no regards for God upon all He has done for man. This is informed by the fact that the people are likened to the Biblical swine and dogs.
They are too blind to see the light which God has brought to the world. They desire darkness and as such opt for it.
6.10 The world opposes God
The angels came from heaven to celebrate the birth of Christ on earth. Instead of man to follow suit he takes up arms in readiness for battle against Him. King Herod on hearing of the birth of Christ was not happy. He inquired to know His birth place so that He might send His soldiers to Him. While the angels rejoiced in His birth right from the day He was born, man thought of nothing but how to do away with His life. The world does not want God.
6.11 God loves man
A local adage has it that, what a man loves most is what causes his suffering. Man is what God loves most of His creation. And ironically, man is the one who hates God most and shows disrespect to Him. It was because of God's love to man that accounted for His sending His only begotten Son to come and die so that man could be saved. In spite of this wonderful and unquanlified love, man continues to hate and disrespect God. Other creation of God such as fish, birds, animals etc., always give praises to God and cherish His works. But man has never praised God and cherished Him wholeheartedly. Rather, man is prepared to blaspheme against God at the slightest disappointment. This is so because no one wants God, instead, it is God who needs man. What man needs is death, theft, falsehood, deceit, ghost, mermaid, idols and the like. That is why He said;
“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swines, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you (Matthew 7: 6).
That is why it is also said that; No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth for new: for he said The old is better”. (Luke 5 : 39)
The world prefers the evil doers and sinners to the righteous ones. This explains the reason why the world condones depraved people, flesh eaters, murderers, drunkards. liars, thieves, but righteous people are hated. That is the more reason why it appears as if the servants of God are the most hated set of people in the world. And because of this ugly situation, it is common to see many people who were once devoted to the work of God backslide just to avoid being hated. The fact that the Father has come by Himself with good tidings to the world, the people of the world are incapacitated to attack Him apart from vilification. If it were not the Father who came by Himself, He would have been destroyed and thrown away long ago by the people of the world. The Father cannot be attacked by the people of the world in any aspect. That is why a local adage has it that, when a warfare is too tough, the king goes by himself.
6.12 Father alone is able to endure the world
When you hear about cross, it does not mean a piece of wood. It neither means imprisonment nor to be hospitalised. The word "Cross" means imparting the good tidings of God to people who would despise you. Cross also means advising people on what would fetch them long and peaceful life, but these people would despise you.
There is no one on earth other than the Father who could endure the world. It was because of ungratefulness and apathy towards the words of God that necessitated our Lord Jesus Christ to curse the people of the world as it is recorded at the gospel according to Luke 10: 13
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! Woe unto thee, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.”
Our Lord Jesus Christ had to curse this set of people as a result of annoyance. Christ could not accommodate the people's shortcomings. This is to prove a point that Jesus the Son of God, would not have been able to tolerate the people of this present sinful world. So it is correct to deduce that, apart from the Father, no one else could accommodate this present world. Let the first lesson be read again.

6.13 War against sins
The governments of the world are waging a wholesome war against indiscipline while Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is waging war against sins. It is imperative that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star wages this war because the problems of the world are caused by sinful acts. And man cannot listen to God as a result of sins. It is sins that have hindered man from beholding the light of God and thereby making him not to see the holy things and the pearls presented to him. Any moment man has a turning from sin, he would be able to see the precious things which God presents to him. Anybody who beholds the light and these good things would vouch to the fact that God does exists.
Right from the inception of the earth, there has never existed a pearl like this before. Therefore anyone who sees it has cause to rejoice. The whites would feel bad when they are made to see these pearls. And there is no point to stress the fact that the whites crave for precious and valuable things and would want them if they see them.
It is as a result of the precious nature of this kingdom that informs the reason why you are advised to refrain from every sinful act. Because the only conditionality to behold the pearls is to be pure. It is said:
“Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.” (Titus I: 15).
From the above biblical excerpt, it is very correct to deduce that, the defiled people do not regard anything good and pure because they are not pure. The wonderful pearls you behold here are what many people are groping in the dark to see.
6.14 You are a lucky generation
Our Lord Jesus Christ, Moses, Abraham, Melchizedek etc. waited to see what you are seeing today, but they were not opportuned to behold it. The very thing which these great Patriachs craved for is being toyed with by this generation. Man would always live to regret his action. It was after the Israelites might have killed our Lord Jesus Christ that they came to their senses that, really He was the Son of God. They were engulfed by darkness during this period and after their heinous act the scales cleared from their eyes. But it was too late for them. And if not that the Father has come by Himself, nobody knows what would have happened to the entire world. That is why our Lord Jesus Christ told His disciples a parable about the wicked husbandmen as recorded in Matthew 21: 33 -39.
After the parable, our Lord Jesus Christ asked the disciples:
“When the Lord therefore of the vineyard cometh what will he do unto those husbandmen?” (Matthew 21: 40).
And they replied thus:
“They say unto him. He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husband men, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.” (Matthew 21: 41).
Then Jesus again said to them:
“Therefore say I unto you, the kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.” (Matthew 21:43).
6.15 Bear good fruits
From the last biblical excerpt, we are made to understand the kingdom of God will be taken away from us and given to a nation producing the fruits of it. Therefore anyone who wishes to inherit this kingdom of God should bear the fruits of righteousness and abide by the injunctions of the Father. The foundation of this kingdom is very firm, as such, it cannot be moved nor shaken. This kingdom is mainly for those who deserve it; race, age, and place of birth notwithstanding.
The members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star who practise the Father's words are gentle and humble. Whereas those who do not abide by the word of God are arrogant and proud. And their presence spoils others because one bad apple spoils the rest. Those who do not abide by the words of God in the kingdom could be regarded as dogs. Because they are those who struggle for feast and other material things. So brethren, that is why it is said:
“Follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12 : 14).
To forsake sins is the most rational thing anyone should do. If one can try to shun sins one would then behold the will of God in Him. One can only see the glory of God by purging himself of sins.
It is true that to abstain from fornication, drunkenness, idolatry and the like cannot give you material things. But one would behold God and appreciate the pearls presented to him if he refrains from sins. To underscore the God's dislike for worshipping idols the bible warns:
“Thou shall not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting, the iniquity of the father's upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me” (Exodus 20: 5 ).
There was a man who took ill and vowed that instead of him to be taken to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star for healing he was ready to die. Finally, he died off. And when the children grew up, they did exactly what their father did. This story is a real life situation. The children of this man, were infact worse than their father as far as their attitude to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star was concerned.
The teachings imparted to us by the Father are meant to bring eternal life to those who practise them. And every member is aware of the fact that eternal life can only be obtained if one abides by the teachings of the Father. But unfortunately, members scoff at these teachings. The question is, what does it cost one to abide by the teachings of the Father which would fetch him life eternal? As long as one refuses to accept to abide by the injunctions of the Father he would not be saved along side with His offerings. I would love to know the benefits derivable from wallowing in sinful acts.
If the parents of the children of God (virgins) in this kingdom were not devoted members they would not have spared their children to serve the Father as the children of God. For instance, there was a Hausa girl who was interested to serve the Father as a child of God but her wish was obstructed by her parents. This was so because, the parents were not devoted but dogs. It is not an easy thing for the child of an unrighteous parents to be enlisted as a virgin. Because the sins of the parents would not let them permit the child. That is why it is uncommon to see a cow giving birth to a goat, and a goat giving birth to a hen.
6.16 Perfection is our hallmark
To repent and be righteous is very good and of benefit to the world, angels and God too. There are many children who would have loved to serve God as virgins but their wishes are dashed by their parents who would not accept such situation. Many parents want their children to finish schooling before they could come to serve as virgins. This is because they (parents) are not righteous people.
They are oblivious of what the gospel says at second Peter 2:9.
“The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished”
If you accept to serve God, you would have peace and the entire world at large would also have peace for that singular act. But so long as you do not accept to serve God you would continue to suffer and perish at last. The suffering is not limited to you alone, but it includes your posterity.
We have gone to a stage called the forbidden ground' and as such, we need to refrain from sins, so that we would be perfect and be worthy to live there because perfection is our hallmark. If you should forsake all sins, you would see the joy, glory, life and peace that would prevail at this end of time. This would not be the work of men but God. The Father has bestowed His glory, mercy, peace, love, wealth among others on His children lavishly. There is no other kingdom of God in the entire world apart from the one found here within us. But those who are blinded with sins do not behold it. For it is only the children of God who have seen and perceived it.
6.17 Accept the children of God(The virgins)
The children of God have been revealed to the entire world. Therefore whosoever loves, cares and respects these children of God is free. What brought about the downfall of Lucifer in heaven? It was disobedience. When God commanded that all the angels should bow down and worship His only begotten Son, he refused, just as some of you do today. When I ordered that everybody should kneel down while the children of God go on blessings, many people fume, and demand to know the reason behind this order. Some ask if these children are better than they are or whether they have done more than what they have done in this kingdom. But I am still glad because at least, some few members have received them. Therefore, as many as have received these children, are given the right to be sons of God. Right from the beginning of Brotherhood, it is the 1992, August Pentecostal Assembly that has recorded the greatest event. I am referring to the glory of the children of God. The lyrics of their songs are very significant. They are very loving, merciful, and generally melodious. Their songs have done a lot of work in the entire universe.
6.18 Problems are angels from God to punish the disobedient
Whoever forsakes sins is free from problems. When you complain of thieves, temptation, sicknesses and other problems they come as a result of sins. These confrontation are angels or ministers sent to you when you commit sins. When David, for instance, did not snatch the wife of Uriah, his problems were less. However, when he disobeyed God's instruction (to forsake adultery), problems of greater magnitude occurred to him. The first two of his children committed incest (an abominable act) and disgraced themselves. Secondly, Absalom, his son rebelled and killed one of the children, Absalom also rebelled against him and the whole of Israel rose against him. Many other calamities befell him as a result of his disobedience of taking Uriah's wife into marriage. Therefore, do not be surprised when you find armed robbers, snakes, sicknesses and other problems happening to you. These are messengers of God sent as corrective measures, for God chastises the child He loves. In the era of our Lord Jesus Christ, the disciple that suffered many afflictions was Paul because he persecuted the elect of God. And so, in this era, whoever wants to be free from punishment should flee fornication, stealing, and many other evil vices. Let the fear of God indwell you.
This is the close of age hence, I have to teach unceasingly, because after this, is the judgement. My happiness lies in the fact that many people have repented and have thus, been saved. The all conquering power that rules over the nations of the world with an iron rod is now on earth. There is no one who has ever sought for God, but this is the time of His reign. There is nothing that man can do, than to succumb. All tongues shall confess of God's glory and all angels shall adore Him. Read the golden text again.

6.19 The eyes of the Lord is upon the righteous
The above excerpt is directing us to the path of salvation. At the fullness of time, God will require from us the peace which He had handed over to the entire universe. This is the reason why He has admonished us to FOLLOW PEACE with all men. It also explains the reason why He teaches everybody to be in peace with all men, churches, governments, and communities. Whatever people may say or do should not border you. Whatever happens daily does not concern you because, sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Your major concern is to FOLLOW PEACE with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
There is every truth in the spiritual song which says that 'whoever seeks for me, will surely see me because I accomplish my works spiritually'. Truly, I operate more effectively in spirit and so, whoever seeks for me in the flesh does so in vain because I do not operate in the flesh. This song invariably means that whosoever indulges in fornication, stealing, telling lies, backbiting, blasphemy, anger, quarrelling and fighting cannot see God. The golden text has told us without mincing words that whoever is not holy will not see God. What does it profit a man to stay in this fold and continue to extort money from people, steal, fight, quarrel, commit fornication and other vices? Whoever does this cannot see God till doom's day. However, the holy ones see God lavishly and they cannot have any problem.
6.20 There is no distance for the holy ones seeing the Father
A good case of how the holy ones cannot have problem can be traced to the sister who resides at London, She testified of how she was once jobless. And as she was lamenting and praying to the Father for any work, the Father physically appeared and took her to an office where she now works. Right now, she is in a position of employing other people in the office. This is how the Father works for those who are truly holy. In another instance, a sister also testified of how thieves invaded her farm and stole her crop (cassava) When she visited the farm and discovered the theft, she exclaimed that, it is unfortunate for the thieves that had done that. But surprisingly, the four thieves emerged out from their hide outs and told her to say her last prayer, for it is even unfortunate for her and Olumba. Before she could finish her prayer, the four thieves stood erect with their matchets suspended in the air. This child of Olumba quickly left the farm and alerted the villagers but by the time the villagers got to the farm, the four thieves had died. This event took place at River State and a similar situation occurred at Ugep in Cross River State of Nigeria some years ago. These testimonies go a long way to confirm that even if one comes here everyday, in as much as he is in the flesh, he can never see God. Those who are in the spirit at London, America, India, Russia, Africa, or any part of the world see the Father lavishly.
If the Father reveals Himself to you, you would cease to struggle for feast, you would not steal, tell lies, gossip, hate, curse people nor indulge in any form of unrighteousness any more. Right now, there is joy in heaven, on earth, in the waters, in the abyss, in the firmanents, because there are a few people who are holy and they are free from problems. In the case of those who are still plunged in evil the situation is different. Such people are still complaining of one problem or the other. Though they may be in this fold, they cannot behold the glory of God because they are still in the flesh.
6.21 Seek God in spirit
Do not seek for God in the flesh for you will not see Him. Seek for Him in the spirit, for He works in spirit. All the worldly personalities who desires to see the Father cannot do so because they are all in the flesh, still committing one sin or the other. However, should they forsake sin, they will be one with the Father for they will also be in spirit like the Father. If you are in spirit, no matter where you are, you will see the Father. At this juncture, you may recall the testimony of Apostle Bright. He said that while he was yet to be baptised into the fold of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, that once he could have been drowned but the Father physically appeared and rescued him. Then he later recognised the person (Holy Father) who saved him when he became a baptised Brotherhood. Therefore, whoever you may be, as long as you flee sin, you will always see the Holy Father, because He is with you.
It is said a stroke of the cane is sufficient unto a wise man. May God bless His holy words; Amen.
