    THE ONLY WORTHY SACRIFICE

First lesson: Matthew 22:37 “Jesus said unto him. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with ,all thy mind.” Second lesson: 2 Peter 1:5-9. “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Golden text: John 15:13-14. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” Spiritual chorus: 0! Blood of the Lamb, if I should use my blood to lay the foundation; no power would be able to destroy my handiwork, 2.1 Salvation through the blood of Christ Brethren, this gospel will be a source of great happiness to you. This is because the entire world was doomed; the world was at the verge of destruction before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. His physical manifestation on earth to redeem mankind with His precious blood was a task which no other man or angel could undertake. The condition stipulated by God for the remission of the sins of man was the shedding of precious blood, blood that was pure. This was the divine agreement between God and Christ which necessitated His coming to the earth. This explains why He is glorified and exalted above every other being. Having accomplished what no other person or angel could. He has assumed eternal glory The sins of man from the time of Cain to eternity have been forgiven and shall no longer be remembered. Our total freedom stems from this great liberation. The Almighty Father was aware of the state of man that if He did not forgive mankind of his sins, nobody would be considered sinless and worthy of salvation. We are made worthy by immersion and being washed in the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, man has continued to impute sins to his fellow man, thus attempting to destroy what God had sanctified. Do you not know that we have all been forgiven through the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ? Moreso, do you not know that Christ died for your sake and every other person? Therefore, He is the Mediator between God and man. I would not have come but for the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ because I do not have any business with evil. Our sins have long been forgiven and this has made it possible for me to manifest among men. I do not have any judgment, punishment or sentence to pronounce against anybody. The blood of our Lord Jesus Christ has washed all our sins and consequently, set us free. Looking at you, at times I feel amused by your behavour and at the same time, I pity you greatly because in spite of the precious blood shed by our Lord Jesus Christ, which had remitted your sins, you still impute sins to your fellow men. You continue to judge and condemn yourselves thereby rendering the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ meaningless. This act betrays your ignorance of the advent and divine mission of our Lord Jesus Christ. What do you think was the purpose of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ? Furthermore, what do you think was the reason for His persecution and eventual crucifixion? What is the reason behind man's suffering today? Many people claim to worship God yet, they continue to indulge in stealing, killing, hatred, covetousness, falsehood, and imputing sins to their fellow men. Does this false claim not signify hypocrisy? That is why the scriptures state that, he that believes that the Lord Jesus Christ came and died for our sins, is forgiven and redeemed. 2.2 It is finished! While on the Cross, He declared: “it is finished”. This is because He had paid the highest price for sin thus liberated man from damnation. Therefore, those who continue to condemn their fellow men are considered as unbelievers. Those who continue to steal, hate, covet, indulge in idolatry and other abominable acts are equally categorised as unbelievers and anti-Christs. But as many as believe in Christ and God have been justified and saved. Our great grandparents tried to obtain justification through the law but failed and finally perished. It is true that nobody is worthy in the whole world. With the awareness of man's unworthiness, Christ accepted to intercede in order to redeem mankind. All the sins of man were remitted from the day the Lord declared; “it is finished” on the cross. Therefore, all those who believe in Him are forgiven and saved. Since we have been reminded of this truth, in this New Year, we are enjoined not to further impute sins to anybody, for all of us have been sanctified by the blood of the Lamb. You should neither impute sins to yourself nor another person. Rather, you are to peacefully co-exist in love with everyone because of the precious blood of Christ. Re-examine the first lesson. First lesson: Matthew 22:37. “Jesus said unto him. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” 2.3 The reign of righteousness The text constitutes the clear message that the Father has for the entire world. Love has now assumed supremacy and rulership, thus nipping hatred and other vices in the bud. The old order, arrangements and institutions that had encouraged sinfulness have all passed into oblivion, giving way to the reign of righteousness. This powerful declaration, 'it is finished', marked the end of man's condemnation of his fellow man, hatred, falsehood and other ungodly acts. Your duty is to express love towards all creatures, whether animals, fishes, insects or plants for our Lord Jesus Christ came down to die for the entire creation of God. Anybody who believes in God, irrespective of his status will always know that He is faithful and true, and will not want anybody to perish. 2.4 The significance of the crucifixion of Christ in between the two robbers The two thieves who were nailed on either side of our Jesus Christ signified the sins of the world: The one on the left hand side of the Lord represented the sins of man right from the time of Adam till the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ, while the one on the right hand side stood for the sins of man from the time of our Lord Jesus Christ till the eternal ages. Our Lord Jesus Christ in the middle therefore represented the Mediator and the Redeemer of mankind. The Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ in-between these two thieves means a complete destruction of sin. 2.5 The only Mediator People who call themselves Christians but continue to impute sins to their fellow men are false Christians. As a matter of fact, such people are not Christians. Therefore, whoever imputes sins to his fellow man irrespective of his religious inclination or faith, has perished. Such a person does not have a share in the essence of the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, the sacrificial Lamb. As it is written, God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son to manifest in flesh, and give His life as a ransom for the sins of men so that none would perish but have everlasting life. Therefore, from this moment, you are enjoined to desist from imputing sins to yourself or your fellow man for Christ has consecrated all of us. He bridged the gap between all; as such, there is no more disparity between the whites and blacks; Jews and Greeks; rich and poor. We are all one in the Lord. The Lord did not die for us because of our righteousness or worthiness but because of His immense love, mercy and grace. His greatest desire for all is peace, love and prosperity. Spiritual chorus: Thank you: 0 helper of the poor. Read the second lesson again. Second lesson: 2 Peter 1:5-9. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins,” 2.6 The teaching is absolute Truth. Have you now seen why I am amused at your behaviour? The teaching I impart to you is absolute truth and it is worthy of acceptance. Undoubtedly, all of us have been purified by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. For this reason, we are asked to refrain from all sinful acts as a reciprocation of the Love and mercy of God to us. This is what portrays us as true children of God. We are hopeful that everybody will imbibe the message in this gospel, and refrain from further sinful acts. Let us all be enveloped in and guided by the love of God. We should also grow in His divine path as a justification of the shedding of His precious blood for man. The component parts of this virtuous act are love, faith, patience, meekness, longsuffering, holiness and the righteousness of the saints. Anybody who is without these qualities is blind and has forgotten the significance of the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ by which all of us have been purified. This confirms the truth of the statement that, spiritual blindness is the worst of all diseases. We are no longer bound by the laws of man which centre on justification by law and not by love. We no longer impute sins to our fellow men, steal, fornicate or indulge in other sinful actions. It is disheartening to note that, men have within a short space of time rendered meaningless, the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and His painful crucifixion. However, we are sure of inheriting the Kingdom of God if only we will express love for one another and desist from imputing sins to our fellow brethren. This is why we do not disgrace, beat, oppress or impute sin to anybody in Brotherhood of Cross and Star. 2.7 His enormous love and grace. As witnesses to the deep grace and love lavishly poured on us, we are implored to extend these to all mankind in order that everybody will also be saved. There is neither bond nor free, new nor old, evil nor righteous in the kingdom. We all are one in the Lord, One flock under one Shepherd. All those who seek justification by the law have separated themselves from Christ and have no share in His grace and Kingdom. Conversely, those who are under grace are not bound by the law. They are the real owners of the kingdom. You have now come to the understanding that our salvation is not derived from obedience and righteousness but by the grace and mercy of God. No parent, couple, child, brother, relative or friend can exhibit such enormous love for another, which involves the shedding of blood. Only Christ has been able to accomplish this great feat. Everybody has been cleansed by His blood. Spiritual chorus I have no sacrifice to present; for the Son of the Most High God, is my sacrifice, He is the first and ultimate sacrifice. As the last sacrificial Lamb, He has brought peace, love and oneness to man. No other sacrifice will be required anymore till eternity, None of you had before now known Brotherhood. It is now that I will reveal Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to you. Briefly, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is what constitutes the entire admonitions: It is love, meekness, kindness, peace, mercy, humility longsuffering and other righteous behaviours. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has no affinity with falsehood, hatred, backbiting and other unwholesome activities. You persistently indulge in evil deeds because you are neither Brotherhood nor know what it entails. The truth that I am now unveiling to you is that, salvation or justification is not achieved through the law. We have been made perfect and just through the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. The reason why we, members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star do not have problems is because we adhere to the stipulated tenets of righteousness. Therefore, whoever believes in, and upholds these injunctions will not have any problem. Those who keep this commandment shall find peace, mercy, protection, goodness, prosperity and the glory of God. Re-examine the golden text. Golden text: John 15:13-14 “Greater love hath no man than this. that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” 2.8 The universal maladies The question you have to ask yourself is, what would be the consequence of my failure to adhere to the instructions of God? Are all those who are continuously engrossed in stealing, killing, hatred and convetousness His friends? Can those who unceasingly fight, begrudge, calumnize, take people to court and impute sins to others, claim to belong to the Lord? These are the problems destroying the entire fabric of Christendom in particular, and the whole world in general. The worldly people neither believe in God nor obey Him. That is why they perpetrate all sinful acts. But those who belong to Him, abhor evil practices, and such people are His friends. Spiritual chorus: Because he did what pleased God, he was called a friend of God. As a display of His pure love and mercy, the Lord rebuked and charged Peter to put back his sword into its sheath after the severance of the ear of the Chief Priest's servant. He revealed that, whoever goes with a sword shall die by it. Having had such knowledge, we abhor hatred, violence or any action that will negate the divine significance of the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is why we are His friends. This is the reason I keep on telling you that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is not a church, conventional institution of learning, prayer house, or healing home. Nations, states, communities, churches and individuals are besieged by unspeakable problems because they live by the sword and practice the law of retaliation. 2.9 The recondite knowledge As He has shown patience and endurance to the whole world, it is incumbent on us therefore to equally tolerate others, for it is said, no crown comes without a cross. We have to be our brother's keeper, and tolerate one another in order to inherit the Kingdom of God. If we continue to recall the significance of the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ shed on our behalf, we will endeavour to practice righteousness among one another. Paul disclosed that anybody who is responsible for the fall of another person for whose sake Christ died, is doubly condemned for rendering worthless the precious blood. Be careful not to be responsible for the condemnation of anybody, for whose sake Christ died. This is recondite knowledge which had been hidden from you. You had before now been walking in darkness. Anybody who hates his brother is a sinner and has no share in the blood of Christ and the Kingdom of God. We should live in Brotherhood and Sisterhood, with the full realisation that we are one in the Lord If we love one another. Then the world will identify us as God's friends. Beloved, a stroke of cane is sufficient for the wise. Let he who has ears, hear what the Holy Spirit has imparted to the whole world. May God bless His holy word, Amen. THANK YOU FATHER.
