1.1 Love: Our greatest law
Beloved brethren, it was not for nothing that the Holy Father, right from the onset of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star made love the central focus point of his teaching. The love the Holy Father taught us about is divine love, the love of God and brotherly love devoid of hatred, anger and discrimination. The Holy Father allows brethren in the divine kingdom to witness what we are witnessing today in order to return the remnants of His real children, the elects of God to the first love. Every other teaching in Brotherhood takes its root from this central theme: the love of one another. Even then, the name we bear, 'Brotherhood' refers to the love of God.
The weekly Thursday fasting is in respect of His death on the Cross for the atonement of our sins, which is on the basis of His immutable love. The three days dry fasting we observe termly every year is also aimed at mortifying the flesh in order to allow His spirit of love to dwell in us. The spirit of divine love is the Holy Spirit we are all yearning for. Once you are filled with the Spirit of divine love, you will not recount the sins of your fellow brethren, you will overcome the world and you will be able to function in the true spirit of Brotherhood, which is the ultimate goal.
Beloved brethren, it was for this same reason that our Lord Jesus Christ for three times repeatedly asked Peter if indeed he loved Him. And in each occasion, Peter answered in the affirmative. Our Lord Jesus Christ knew the type of hurdle and cross Peter was to face before asking passionately this pertinent question if indeed Peter really loved Him.
Beloved brethren, if you would recall in April 2000 when the brethren all over the world thronged the premises of 34 Ambo Street in order to receive the usual outpouring of the Holy Spirit associated with Easter Monday every year, to their greatest surprise, the Holy Father while on the pulpit informed everyone present that it was already too late for anyone to think of a change of heart now. That everyone should remain where he or she was for He had already separated the sheep from the goats. Those who were practising evil should continue and those who feared God should also remain faithful. In another occasion, the Holy Father informed the world that God has never been interested in the majority. That he was after quality and not quantity. Searching through history, you would not identify with one single event in the bible where God ever associated with the majority. In the rebellion of Absolom against David his father, millions of Israelis were on his side; only six hundred men followed David the king. In the encounter of Elijah with the prophets of Baal in his attempt to cleanse the temple, the majority of the people stood against him. The spread of Christianity in the days of our Lord Jesus Christ came as a result of the persecution of the Apostles who fled to various points in the world. They were still the minority.
Today history has repeated itself. I have taken time to inform you of this in order to strengthen your faith in the Holy Father and for you to remain unshakable. A thousand years is but one day before God. He has never disappointed and will not disappoint us. We are now embarking on one of the greatest projects ever embarked upon in the Kingdom of God. That project is the gradual but steady selection of the elects of God from the millions of those who came in with various ulterior motives. The process is spiritual. It is painstaking and labourious to the ordinary mortals but it must be accomplished.
Therefore, as ordained ones, it is expected of you to remain spiritual always in order to overcome the evil days. It is my belief that the Holy Father has granted us power of his divine love to overcome the world in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ - Amen.
1.2 Gathering the children of God.
Beloved brethren, our primary concern now is to gather the real children of the Holy Father and to strengthen their faith in the Father. As a result of the attempt by the devil to scatter the children of the Father, many brethren who are not strong in faith now decide to remain at home. Others simply join the side of Bishop Roland Obu in order not to backslide completely and perish. Effort should be made from time to time to encourage this set of brethren who remain at home to join the rest of the Holy Father's gathering.
1.3 We are to remain united
May I also use this opportunity to remind you all of the need to remain united as one and indivisible family of God. There is no gathering of a group of people without their individual differences in opinion and character. If we are to forge ahead, we must eschew hatred and sink our individual differences. Team spirit and discipline are ingredients for growth of any human organization. If we are united, it will be difficult for the enemies of God to succeed. The love of one another, tolerance, faith and hope in the Holy Father are essential in our collective efforts towards the rebuilding of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star led by brotherly love alone.
1.4 Women are devoted
I am particularly thankful to the Father for setting aside a specific day for His beloved daughters to assemble before him for his divine advice and blessing as well as refilling you with the Holy Spirit to enable you carry out the great task of gathering His children. I thank Him for the traveling mercies granted all of us from our various homes.
I thank the Father for the zeal, courage and love to turn up in great numbers for this revival fellowship. It is my belief that, through this occasion the Holy Father has sanctified and blessed you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
1.5 Remembering the first love
In my previous address to you, I appealed to you all to maintain the initial tempo and the zeal exhibited at the inaugural meeting of the International Women Fellowship. At that meeting I was greatly moved by the determination and general enthusiasm clearly demonstrated by the women towards the success of the fellowship. I here- by further appeal to you to reawaken that enthusiastic spirit and work together as a formidable team. The Bible says “no man having put his hand to the plow and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God" (Luke 9:62). Ours is forward ever and backward never. We are to step up the activities of the fellowship in particular and work in concert in the overall progress of our respective bethels and Pentecostal Centres.
I have said it in many of our meetings that the confusion created by the enemies of the Holy Father should never discourage us in anyway but should rather serve as a morale booster, and a challenge to us and a source of inspiration to ginger us up for greater spiritual awareness and unshakable faith in the Holy Father.
1.6 We are in the era of spiritual growth
We are now in the era of spiritual growth and understanding. If you recall the history and the spread of Christianity you will agree with me that everything that happens is to glorify the Father. The persecution of the early Christians led to the spread of Christianity in the world. As they ran way for safety to various distant places, they were able to establish churches at various points in the world leading to the present spread of Christianity.
You will also agree with me that if Bishop Roland Obu and his group did not cause the confusion in the kingdom which now gives rise to the on -going spiritual cleansing of the new kingdom of God, the selection and sealing of you the elects of God would not have taken place. In many occasions, the Holy Father said it repeatedly that He has the desire for all of us to be with him, that is to attain the level of Christhood but that there was no alternative than for everybody's work to be brought to light, tested before being selected. The selection is between the sheep and the goats.
In the current situation there is none among us who has not been tested either individually or collectively. Therefore, having passed through this spiritual test and been selected among the remnants of God, we should feel elated and give thanks to the Holy Father for His infinite grace and love for us in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. If He does not call you, it means you are not worthy, if you are called you are justified and once the Holy Father justifies you none can condemn you in the whole world. We are justified and saved in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
1.7 Women are in the fore- front in the service of God
Right from the beginning women have often been associated with great works in the service of God.
In our present generation, women have equally identified themselves with the Holy Father. Some have single handedly built and dedicated beautiful cathedrals to the Father, others have contributed in one way or the other to the glory of God. Beloved brethren, it is stated that, God is not so unrighteous as to forget our labour of faith rendered in His vineyard. I am assuring you that no service rendered before the Holy Father no matter how little shall go unrewarded. It is on record before the Father that, one of the most viable fellowships in the new kingdom of God is the International Women Fellowship.
It is as a result of the great potential of women in the service of the Father that, the devil first started the war with the women during the 2001 April, Pentecostal Assembly. The Holy Father being aware of the special role of the women in his Kingdom gives them free hand to run their own affairs. It is true that a lot has been achieved by the women in the vineyard of God, but beloved brethren, it is my belief that, what has not been achieved is by far greater than what had already been achieved. In other words, the future is greater than the past. If we faint not in the love of God, the Holy Father in His infinite love shall continue to achieve much greater works in the years ahead.
Before the confusion in the kingdom, women had recorded great strides in many areas including evangelism to many parts of the world and projects implementations, all to the glory of the Father. In many occasions, the Holy Father has been commending the women and has been very proud and fond of His beloved daughters. It was partly as a result of this that the devil became so jealous and wanted to scatter the children of God. But what the Father has written has been written and no power or authority can erase it in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. The devil has failed woefully.
1.8 The Holy Father’s doctrine should be maintained: Leader’s representatives to uphold them.
Beloved brethren, in a time such as this the work of the Leader's Representatives calls for dedication and devotion now more than ever. As Leader's Representatives I need not remind you of your fatherly role among the flock of God entrusted under your care at different levels. No matter the temptation from any source, efforts should be made to maintain the sound doctrine of the Holy Father so that the brethren are not led astray. Part of the intention of Satan in creating confusion in the Kingdom is to distort the sound doctrine and teaching of the Holy Father. His holiness Bishop Roland Obu has now introduced some strange doctrines into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star such as burning of candles, releasing of white pigeons and the use of white handkerchief. He has changed the mode of worship and his followers now pray in his name instead of the name of Jesus Christ or that of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. Brethren, in order to overcome the wiles of the devil and to keep the flock of God together, you are to encourage the practice and teaching of the Holy Father’s gospels to all at all times. Many are being misled away from this truth. They need knowledge of the Holy Father’s teaching: The Everlasting Words of Life.
1.9 The Holy Father is the Vine and we are the branches
It has become absolutely necessary to remind our Leader's Representatives that we are the branches of the Holy Father who himself is the main vine. Even in our various letters of appointment, the Holy Father re-minded us that He is the vine while we, His Representatives, are His branches. As branches of the vine tree, we are expected to bear the same fruits as the main vine. It is impossible for the branch of a tree to produce different fruits other than the quality and type produced by the main tree.
Therefore, brethren, it is desirable now, more than ever, for all of us to worship the Holy Father in spirit and in truth so as to bear fruits acceptable to the Father. At a period such as this, except the Holy Father dwells in us and we individually live in Him, it will be impossible to create any meaningful impact in the spiritual lives of those we are entrusted to lead. Our Lord Jesus Christ reminded His disciples of the need for them to eat of His flesh and drink of His blood in order to fit into His discipleship. To eat of His flesh and drink of His blood, to say the least, is to attain christhood to become real branch of their Master. In the same vein, none of us can truly claim to be the Holy Father's Representatives, if we do not live in the Father and be His real branch in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. If any one abides in the Father he or she shall prosper and without Him none can make any real progress in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
1.10 The Holy Father's administration is divine
We should always bear in mind that, the Father's administration is spiritual and devoid of worldly methods. The mistake many of us make is to regard our various offices and ranks as those of the worldly set up. The position of Leader's Representative, the Field Worker or any other rank and status in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star are purely spiritual and meant to serve spiritual purpose and not for political, social, or economic gains.
Therefore, the various offices and ranks as ordained by the Holy Father have their real meanings and blessing so long as we use them in accordance with the original purpose designed by the Holy Father. In other words, we are not expected to use worldly methods to run spiritual offices. In many occasions the Holy Father has spoken clearly that whoever would want to lead must be ready to serve others. Our guiding principle is leadership by example. To serve and not to be served.
The hierarchy in the New kingdom of God is ordained by the Father and it is not in question. However, for the sake of further clarification the following arrangement should be noted:
1.11 The Holy Father
He is Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, without Him nothing can work. Therefore, whoever represents the Holy Father at any given occasion is directly the Holy Father Himself and the person should be very careful in his or her choice of words, actions and deeds. The same goes to a preacher in the altar. While on the pulpit you are the Holy Father and should be careful with what comes out from you; use words to build and to strengthen the faith and not words to destroy and scatter.
1.12 The Leader's Office: Is the highest office in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star as it is the Holy Father's administrative office. Every information and directives from the office are carried out by both angels and human beings without questioning. It is made up of the Secretary General's office for day to day administration and the office of Brotherhood Executive Council for policy decisions that guide the administration.
1.13 The Council of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star: Otherwise called the Brotherhood Executive Council, is not like the worldly councils where decisions are reached through voting or subjected to veto according to political interests of individual members concerned. Here the owner of the vineyard, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu leads the Council. He is the vine while we in the Council are his branches. We do not decide for the Father but abide by His divine directives.
The question about who is the greatest in the kingdom of God as put to Christ by His disciples is re-echoed in our own generation.
"And he said unto them, the kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so ; but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he that is chief, as he that doth serve" (Luke 22 :25-26)
Presently, the members discuss matters brought before the council and arrive at a unanimous decision on that matter. This decision is then implemented in the kingdom by the Leader’s office of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.
We all share in the present temptation faced by the Holy Father from the evil one and we are equally joint -heirs of his eternal kingdom in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
1.14 The administration of the Holy Father remains unshakable
Beloved brethren, I would like to use this opportunity to inform you that in spite of the confusion by the devil the administration in the kingdom remains unchanged. Everything is still in place as the Holy Father has kept them and nobody can change anything. To avoid confusion all Leader's Representatives should have a copy of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star comprehensive hand book where all information concerning Administration are written down. In bethels belonging to the Holy Father's true children, the original order of events remain as ordained by the Father and should be so till eternity. With the Leader's Representatives, the Christ Natural True Missionaries (CNTMs) and the entire members of bethels being alert, it will not be possible for the introduction of any strange doctrine. Any bethel in which there are two different portraits, that of the Holy Father and that of His holiness Roland Obu, clearly demonstrates strange doctrine and by such act, the members in such a bethel have jointly crucified our Lord Jesus Christ a second time. It also means that members of such a bethel have two leaders, two masters, two Gods and a divided loyalty. In other words it is a demonstration of lack of faith and trust in the Holy Father Leader Olumba Olumba Obu and total rejection of the Holy Father as the Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe, the only King of kings and Lord of lords.
Those of us who have been redeemed not by our power or righteousness, but by His special grace should ever be thankful to the Holy Father. The Holy Father's portrait is the only one allowed to remain in all Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Pentecostal Centers, bethels and healing homes. Any other portrait placed side by side with that of the Holy Father is vainglory and display of ignorance of who Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is. Many of them call the Father with their lips but their hearts are far away from Him. They profess to belong to the Father but their actions and utterances deny Him. We should avoid such people. Brethren should take note that all the membership cards, baptismal certificates, fellowship cards etc are still the same. There are no changes.
Also Brotherhood Calendar of Events has not changed. We are still maintaining it as the Holy Father had arranged it. The Holy Father has not changed the dates for the pilgrimages to Biakpan and I believe that at the appointed time the Holy Father will make it possible for His true children to visit the Holy City in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. Everyone should have a copy of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Calendar of Events.
1.15 The need for unity and co-operation among the Father's true children
I appeal to all of you to close ranks and work as a united family of God. Division, self-centeredness and group interest should be discarded if we must progress. Some brethren refuse to cooperate with the Leaders Representative because he or she is not from their tribe and on the other hand a worker posted to a bethel is rejected based on tribal sentiment.
Brethren, this is not the Father's teaching. The Father says we are all one no matter where we come from. There is no gathering of a group of people without differences in character or opinion. For the sake of the Holy Father, we have to sink our individual differences and work as a team for the progress of the Father's work.
It is said, unity is strength, united we stand, divided we fall. Our common guide is love one another. If we are united, it will be extremely difficult for the enemies of the Holy Father to succeed. The love of one another, humility, tolerance faith and hope in the Father are essential in our collective effort towards the rebuilding of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star led by the Holy Father Himself.
God does not abide where intrigues, hatred, division and self-centeredness abound. Having been separated from those led by the Spirit of error we should avoid the re-introduction of such traits among the real children of the Holy Father. Our major focus is to maintain the sound doctrines and teaching of the Father as mentioned before. In other words we have to read the Father's gospels at all times and carry out His injunctions. A good child must resemble his Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
1.16 The significance of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Assembly
The Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Assembly is divine and spiritually motivated. The significance of the Assembly needs not be over emphasized. It provides a venue for all the re-gathered remnants of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu’s followers, not only in Akwa Ibom State but also throughout the whole world. In the Cross River State, a similar Assembly is holding today at Eyamba Bethel. It provides a forum for the Council of all Spirits in the State; a venue for renewing all past acquaintances and establishing new ones, and more importantly for re-affirming our faith in Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, and for those who have fallen short in their faith, the restoration of their hope in the Holy Father as our God, as the Sole Spiritual Head of the universe, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and the Ruler of the Universe. He is the only Ruler and the only Head of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star for eternity. The Assembly also portends the need to chart a new course for the faithful in the current perspective to enable you form a united and formidable front against Anti-Christ in the fold. Lastly the Assembly is a potential forum through which the faithful are indwelt and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome the temptations of the devil.
1.17 What progress is made
There is need for more places of worship of God where brethren can go and together worship God their Father. Much work is being done in Akwa Ibom State but we need more bethels. We must work hard to provide new bethels for brethren who are with the Holy Father to avoid some of them sitting at home for lack of where to go for worship of the Holy Father.
Beloved brethren, the method adopted by our brethren, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, should be encouraged to thrive in other states and countries. Wherever, the agents of confusion operate, the children of the Father carefully avoid them but establish alternative new bethels in the same areas. This method has really paid off, as many faithfuls who were denied the opportunity to worship in bethels, and those who have been hiding in their houses now have alternative places of worship under the control of the Holy Father.
1.18 Members to decide where to belong
I want to remind you all that whoever professes to be a Brotherhood of the Cross and Star should belong to a particular group. The Holy Father had in July warned all to belong to his/her group. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star: seems to be split into three parts: those who claim to be with the Holy Father, those who profess to be with Bishop Rowland Obu as their new "father" and "Jesus Christ" and the third group who remain at home not belonging to any of the two groups. He has warned that one should be resolute in his group, as the Father will reward each of the groups accordingly. “And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; and but the third shall be left therein" (Zechariah 13:8). All those who have given up hope as a result of the trial and tribulation are encouraged to come out and join the elects of God because the devil has already failed as God continues to select out His chosen children from those misled by the devil.
But who is the devil to destroy Brotherhood of the Cross and Star? Brotherhood was in existence before the foundations of the world were laid, Brotherhood therefore, is beyond devil's destruction. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, the new kingdom of God on earth is indestructible. Neither man, nor spirit nor principality can destroy it because it is divine and came down from God.
This is not the first time, Satan has waged a relentless battle with the Divine Being and Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, but in all cases the Holy Father has emerged victorious and triumphant. I am confident that this is the last battle between the devil and the children of God. The devil will be overwhelmingly defeated forever.
Beloved brethren, I have taken time to inform you about the situation in the Kingdom so that none of God's elects would go astray. At the initial stage of the crisis, the Holy Father Leader Olumba Olumba Obu had made it clear that there are two paths, one leads to salvation while the other leads to destruction, The Holy Father is the embodiment of salvation and none other than Him. Every Brotherhood of the Cross and Star member is free to follow either of the paths but those who follow any other person other than Leader Olumba Olumba Obu will perish, says the Holy Father. He says that He is our Leader and Father and Him only. If you follow any body else in this kingdom, you are lost. Concluding, He said that those destined for destruction follow somebody else but no true elect of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu can support any body in the present revolt against the Holy Father and His teachings and directives.
1.19 A new day is dawn
With the re-gathering of the faithfuls in Ikot Abasi today, the Father has formally opened a new era for brethren not only in Ikot Abasi but also in Akwa Ibom and other States and countries. It is believed that with regular holding of the Assembly in other Areas in the State, those who had been at the point of going astray or backsliding would be brought back into the fold of the faithfuls so that there will be one flock led by the only good Shepherd. The Assembly offers enlightenment to those misled by the devil because the Father has repeatedly assured you that none of His elect will perish in the present confusion. Know that all the faithfuls are already spiritually identified and sealed.
1.20 Appeal for oneness and mutual cooperation
Beloved brethren, at each Assembly, I have always appealed to you especially in Akwa Ibom to be united in love even now, than ever before. Unity, they say, is strength. Unity of purpose and oneness are desirable in our collective efforts to move the new kingdom of God forward.
There is no human gathering devoid of rancour and acrimony but guided by the Father's teachings of love, forgiveness, mercy, oneness, the prerequisites of the Kingdom, differences will be forestalled, all divisive tendencies and contra- spirits will snap under your feet. The Holy Father calls for unity, oneness, cooperation, unshakeable faith and love for one another. The Holy Father is the vine and we are the branches and except we abide in Him we cannot bear good fruits. The Father has from today given you the power to abide in Him always.
1.21 The Holy Father's divine order must be carried out to the letter
Beloved brethren, we have repeatedly assured you that when Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the Sole Spiritual Head commands all spirits must surrender. There is no declaration or divine pronouncement ever made by the Holy Father that has ever failed to come to fulfillment. Of His entire creation, man is the most stubborn, always questioning or countering God's divine order to his own self-destruction. If you take the present situation in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star into consideration, you will notice that man is full of self-glory, disloyalty and greed. In spite of the privilege given to the children of the kingdom to behold the face of God and to hear directly from Him over the years, the same children are the ones now fighting against the Holy Father.
About three quarters of those who claim to be members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star do not know who the Holy Father is. The present confusion is an eye opener to many of us and affords us a medium through which the real children of God in the kingdom can be identified.
The Holy Father has been reminding us time and again that the people of the world promptly carry out His teachings and pronouncements more than those who profess to be members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Or else how can it be explained that someone or a group of persons in the Kingdom have opposed and countered the Holy Father's divine teaching on himself the Trinity now incarnate on earth, and the declaration such as the one of 13th October 2000. Is it possible to compel the Holy Father to change what He had divinely ordained? What the Father has spoken, He has spoken and what He has spoken has been Written, Signed, Stamped, Sealed and Delivered. Whatever, the Holy Father has written is written and cannot be rescinded by any one.
"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing where to I sent it" (Isaiah 55:11).
Beloved brethren, we should be confident that the words proceeding out of the mouth of the Holy Father must surely come to pass. Except this group of brethren and their ringleader accept the divine teaching and truth on the Trinity, the sole headship, leadership of God now in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star taught by the Holy Father and the declaration of the Holy Father of 13th October 2000, it will be impossible for them to have real peace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ Amen.
1.22 The significance of the 13th October divine declaration
Beloved brethren, nothing ever takes God by surprise. It is stated that the daily occurrences were written down before the foundation of the world was built. It is my belief that, the Holy Father knew before hand the type of confusion, abomination and evil that Satan and his followers will introduce and perpetrate in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. By the Holy Father's divine declaration of 13th October 2000, on the Holy Queen Mother as the Secretary General and Head of Administration in the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star worldwide, Bishop Rowland Obu's secret ambition of declaring himself as the new ruler of the universe was spiritually and physically aborted. All attempts to confuse issues and mislead the brethren now are all exercise in futility. Except those destined for destruction, the real children of the Holy Father continue to uphold the Father's declaration and remain faithful to Him alone and worship Him alone as God.
Without the Father's declaration the divine selection, that spiritually activated judgement, the separation of the goats from the sheep would not have been effected. Right now there seems to be a permanent wall between those who recognize and adore Bishop Roland Obu as the new Jesus Christ and those of us who continue to believe in Leader Olumba Olumba Obu as the only promised Comforter, the Holy Trinity personified, the Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe, the King of kings and Lord of lords, I am that I am, and the Word of God.
1.23 The 13th October declaration has come to stay
We should rejoice exceedingly and be thankful to the Holy Father for being faithful to His spoken words. The 13th October as openly declared by the Holy Father has come to stay in the annals and the history of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and should be celebrated as an annual event in the kingdom to keep faith with the spoken words of the Holy Father. The date should also be inserted in our calendar of events as a mark of total loyalty to, and unshakeable faith in the Holy Father. Nobody has the power to change what the Father has put in place. Those who claim to have succeeded in changing what the Holy Father had spent many years to put in place are wasting their time and fooling themselves. All the teachings and doctrine of the Holy Father, all His declarations and pronouncements are all intact and upheld by the real children of the Father for eternity. The Satan that hitherto had been predatory on the children of the Father has started losing grip on the predestined children of God.
As the day passes, Satan will continue to be on the retreat until he and his group finally vacate the physical throne of the Holy Father. There is nothing that has a beginning that will not have an end. Bishop Roland is only playing for time. He knows that he has gone astray in the kingdom of God so he now engages anybody he thinks is in his way to realizing his inordinate ambition to be god and be worshipped.
On Saturday, 28th October 2002 at about 3 p.m, the Holy Father once again proved to the world that He is perfectly in control of His Kingdom. The sudden entrance of the Holy Father physically in the Hall at 34 Ambo Street, Calabar, from the room He stays in solitude resulted in a stampede among the residents who rushed to see the Father once again. Remember the room door is locked and Bishop Roland Obu keeps the keys. That event should be sending enough signals to all doubting Thomases that nobody has taken over the kingdom of God at all. Many continue to ask; if truly the Father has handed over the Kingdom to Bishop Roland Obu why has He returned to His seat in the altar? On that day, the Holy Father remained in the Hall from about 4pm till 2.00am the next morning before retiring into His Vestry. He proved that locked doors cannot restrain Him. Beloved brethren, the events in recent time should serve as a morale booster to the Father's children. It is meant to strengthen their faith in the Father and to reassure them of His divine declaration of the 13th October, 2000, that the Father is not relenting in His promise neither does He forsake his children, in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
1.24 The task before the new international executive of the Christ Natural Choristers Fellowship
Brethren with the re-union of the faithful choristers for the real cause of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and the formation of the True Choristers Executive, there is a great necessity to chart a meaningful focus for the fellowship. This calls for determination to succeed; devotion to hard work in order to witness the consummation, diligence and commitment to hold tenaciously to the tenets of Leader Olumba Oiumba Obu, the Sole Spiritual Head, the King of kings and Lord of lords; the practlcalization of His injunctions which In the old Brotherhood most of your members did not keep to the letter.
The events in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star would have been avoided if the choristers in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star endowed with the gift of composing, teaching and rendering spiritual music, some of which were rendered as gospels, prayers and even symphonies were to practise what they composed and sang.
The recent trial and tribulation in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has revealed that those composers of songs were only pretenders deceiving themselves. They only did these for mundane reasons. These sets of persons have betrayed themselves, and those choristers who are not present here with you have failed themselves. You who are here, rest assured that since you have not denied the Holy Father, since you have professed the Father as your God and Reformer, Sole Spiritual head of the Universe, King of kings and Lord of lords, you have been refined as silver and tried as gold. He has accepted you as His children and will continue to refine you and make you fit for His service. And since you have kept the word of patience, He also will keep you from the hour of temptation.
1.25 The real choristers
Brethren, it is an open secret that it was the choristers who were recruited by Satan and trained to wage war against the Holy Father to destabilize His unshakeable kingdom, though without success. No one can fight, with the Titan, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is Titan, the Omnipotent.
From the Chairman down to the rank and file of the Fellowship, the previous choristers collaborated with Satan and assisted him in his nefarious schematization to achieve his inordinate ambition to be worshipped as God , whereas Choristers were trained spiritually to sing the new songs (Rev. 5:9).
In the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star perspective, a chorister is very much a preacher of gospel, because when preaching ceases, only songs will rend the air in the kingdom. But it is sacrilegious to find those who composed most of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star songs blaspheming against the truth. The inconsistency of singing one thing, and acting otherwise, spells doom on such blasphemous choristers. Those of you who have remained faithful will, certainly, be decorated with crowns of glory, in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ Amen.
1.26 Your redemption here
Brethren, the crisis has inflicted many sufferings on you such as mud slinging, intimidation, sadistic torture, and defamation of character, wounding, maiming and other physical deformities. This is indicative that the period is that of the trial of faith. Even your Holy Father is currently passing through it. Since May 2001 till now the Ruler of the universe has been confined into a room by Bishop Rowland Obu . This is the period of great distress or tribulation spoken of in the Bible, when you are expected to pass through fiery trials.
But, I have to tell you that all these tragic events in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star are the signs of God's return to the earth and His proclamation. Between May 2001 and September 2002, when the Holy Father was unlawfully confined, the period has turned to be the time of His transformation from physical to mystical body, which explains why He appeared miraculously in the hall on Saturday 28th October 2002 while Bishop Rowland Obu still had the keys of the room the Father was confined in. He remained in the hall for 10 hours without speaking to anybody and then returned to the room by himself.
Nevertheless, in the midst of this crisis chaos, confusion and misdirection, the climax of history will burst not only upon Brotherhood of the Cross and Star but also upon mankind. “Then shall they see the Son of Man appearing in the cloud with power and glory”. Brethren when hope, joy and peace have perished from Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, and when all that is good and beautiful shall have been destroyed and brought to imminent jeopardy and when your endurance shall have reached the breaking point then graciously and majestically Leader Olumba Olumba Obu will appear to redeem you.
Remember that our Lord Jesus Christ added some cheering words as the Father is telling you today saying “When these things begin to come to pass then look up and lift up your eyes for your redemption draws near” (Luke 21:28) The Lord of Heaven has called you all suffering under the yolk to look up for your redemption and deliverance. To look up to see the sublimest sight of the ages; the grand deliverance which God had planned and promised since the world began; to look up and remember that God still lives and loves you and that His faithfulness still reaches unto the clouds (Psalm 103:5), and that as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy towards those who believe and fear Him (Psalm 103:11). To look up and recall that the most High still rules in the kingdom of men (Dan 4:17) and that His resolute purpose is to cause truth to triumph and make righteousness cover the earth as water covers the sea (Heb. 2:14) and to look up and behold the Conqueror of Calvary Leader Olumba Olumba Obu proclaimed as the new Ruler of the Universe, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Indeed His proclamation cannot be long delayed. It is even near at the doors (Matt. 24:33) In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
1.27 The real headquarters of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star
Brethren, when the Holy Father in many of His sermons and pronouncement told us that, the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is not a religion, church, denomination or a society but the kingdom of God on earth, many did not really understand. A lot of members equate Brotherhood with other churches that is why some people claim they have taken over headquarters of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.
The Holy Father, few years ago, asked the brethren to tell Him the real Headquarters of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Some brethren were thinking of the Holy City, Biakpan, others thought it was 34 Ambo Street, Calabar. At last when no one could answer, the Holy Father declared that the Headquarters of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is in all His children, no matter where they may live.
Those who do His commandments constitute this Headquarters of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Brethren, if you build your trust and faith in the Father, whenever you call on Him, He will surely answer us. This is because the Father is always with His children. He has given us His telephone number O.O.O. Call Him whenever you have problems. He will answer you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
1.28 The dawn of a new era in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star
Beloved brethren, we should all regard this period as the beginning and glorious era in the annals of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. When the Holy Father speaks, it is bound to be fulfilled, Some years back the Holy Father had assured us that, the reign of the Holy Spirit will start by the year 2000 and that the only qualification to this golden age will be perfection and unshakable faith in the Holy Father. We have also been informed that the period shall mark the separation of the goats from the sheep. Today, we are all witnesses to the manifestation of the spoken words of the Holy Father. As children of the Most High, we should think positively as regards the present confusion. We are now in an era in which we all are joint heirs of the kingdom of God now manifesting on earth. An era where there is no more gender discrimination, division, hatred and rancour, no discrimination as to rich or poor. We are into the Brotherhood where love for one another is supreme, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
1.29 The leadership of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is God's own kingdom directly from above and led by God Almighty Himself in Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. We are all His children and He directs the affairs of every one of us and what goes on in the kingdom. His leadership is not by election or appointment from any mortal. All authority and power in heaven and on earth have been given to Him the Holy Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the Sole Spiritual Head of the universe eternally. He has no deputy or assistant. It is therefore an abomination for anybody to claim that he has taken over from the Holy Father. How can the leadership of the Holy Spirit be handed over to a carnally minded person?
On several occasions, the Holy Father has informed us that the title; King of kings and Lord of lords belongs to our Lord Jesus Christ now in the Holy Father only. It is not meant for ordinary flesh and blood. It is not a political title, which one can assume using earthly method. The title is non-transferable. It is meant for only one Being who Himself is the Good Shepherd eternally. No Kingdom on earth is ever ruled by two kings at the same time. We have only one and indivisible God, the Trinity God incarnate in our midst. The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit refer to one and the same Being, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the Comforter, "I am that I am". Any teaching in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star that does not conform to this should be discarded. It is a satanic doctrine.
1.30 Looking up to the Holy Father as the Author and Finisher of our faith
This is the time we all should practise the word of God. We should bear in mind that this is a trying period for all children of the Father. In order to overcome this period we must remain steadfast and unshakable in our faith in the Father. The Holy Father has repeatedly advised us to look up to Him alone and to do away with hatred, self-centeredness, falsehood and other vices because these do not foster the desired universal love, unity and progress greatly needed in this Kingdom. We have to work as a united family of God. It is said unity is strength, united we stand, divided we fall. This is a period our love for one another should wax stronger than ever.
1.31 The truth is constant
Beloved brethren, it is stated in the scriptures that, if you know the truth, it shall set you free. Over the years, many of us in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star have known the Holy Father as the only truth. His words are true, as He is Truth. He teaches and practises truth at all times. The Holy Father does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. After gaining this spiritual awareness, His recondite wisdom and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, is it possible for any of us to be misled by anybody or group of persons? The relentless teaching and admonition of the Father to us was not in vain but to strengthen and fortify us against a period such as now in the kingdom.
Beloved brethren, it is on this note that I appeal to you all to hold fast the truth and to remain unshakable in your faith in the Holy Father. Man can disappoint his fellow man, but our Father is true and faithful to His spoken words. He has never and shall never disappoint His children in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. No matter the storm, we are expected to trust only in the Father. It is said that the daily occurrences have been written down before the foundation of the world was laid. Therefore, none of us should think that the Holy Father is not aware of what is happening in the kingdom. Nothing ever takes Him by surprise. Revelations both from the Father's sermons and those from various brethren about this period were rightly predicted and documented. However, the identity of the son of perdition was not immediately known. Brethren, if you truly believe and trust in the mighty Name of the Holy Father, you should remain faithful to Him during this crisis. I am assuring you that the Holy Father is in perfect control of the situation against this son of perdition used by Satan and has conquered him in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
1.32 A test for the real children of God
Beloved brethren, let us take a lesson from what the early Christians and even the prophets of old passed through in the service of God. If you recall, the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, they were persecuted and even prevented from preaching in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The disciples resisted and continued to preach the good news. Christianity would not have been in existence today but for the courage and faith of the disciples of Jesus Christ. Today history has also repeated itself. Right now, if you openly declare that you are for the Father, you will be asked which Father? As soon as you mention Leader Olumba Olumba Obu you are automatically called a rebel by the worshippers of Bishop Roland Obu. Right from that moment you are to face persecution and humiliation. However, like Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego in the Bible who bluntly refused to bow down to King Nebuchadnezzar and his god, in this generation the real children of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu have also refused to worship Roland Obu because God can never be two in the same kingdom. No Kingdom on earth is ever ruled by two kings at the same time. We have, incarnate in our midst, only one and indivisible God, The Trinity. I am that I am, the Comforter and The Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe, The King of kings and The Lord of lords. He is Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. Any other thing or person who assumes this title is an imposter and usurper. God is one, the kingdom of God is one. The Holy Father had declared that there are two ways. One leads to eternal life while the other leads to eternal damnation. None can be compelled to choose any. It is a personal decision and for the individual concerned. Like Joshua in the Bible who declared to the children of Israel:
"Choose you this day whom you will serve, but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24 :15).
Brethren, similarly today, we here gathered have all declared that we will serve and believe only in the name of the Holy Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. It is my belief that, the Holy Father will not allow the devil to snatch any of you from His mighty hands in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
1.33 The family of God
Beloved brethren, the Holy Father has repeatedly informed us that, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is the kingdom of God for the entire creation of God. Those of us who have received this recondite wisdom from the Father and believe in Him as the Comforter and Finisher of our faith should remain unshakable in our faith. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is larger than any carnal family on earth and it cannot be said to belong to a single bilogical family. In other words, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is the family of God embracing all the children of God all over the world. Those who believe in the Holy Father and do His commandments are His children no matter where they come from. Therefore, no matter how closely related, whether biologically or otherwise, no family on earth can subdue the leadership of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to its own dictates. Before the foundation of the world, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star had been destined to serve as a place of refuge for God's own people, They are His family. It is not an accident for any of us to belong to this kingdom and family. I believe that we all had been destined to be partakers of the glory of God, at this end time and to be with the Holy Father as stated in Revelation 21 : 3 - 4:
“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people and God Himself shall be with them and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, no crying neither shall there be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away.”
May the peace of God the Father abide with all of us for ever. Amen
