Early in 1996 Deaconess Inyang who was then in Israel with us gave a revelation that the Jews would soon know the Holy Father,, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, for He will soon reveal Himself to the Israelis. Prior to this vision, the Holy Queen Mother, together with almost a hundred brethren had visited Israel for three weeks.
Few months after the revelation, on Tuesday at Men's Fellowship meeting with the Father, the brethren could not find all their shoes that they kept at the entrance of the bethel in Tel-Aviv, Israel. All the shoes just disappeared. We searched every where but they could not be found, so we all went back home on bare foot on a very cold night.
10.1 Message from Israeli security
The following day on Wednesday, Pastor James Onugu, then the preacher in the bethel phoned me asking me to come to the bethel. On reaching there, I found that he had phoned all the other brethren, members of the bethel also to come and they were there. The Preacher told us that two policemen entered the bethel, greeted him and requested to see every member of the bethel on Thursday at 5 pm. The message sent panic into us since we were all illegal immigrants, meaning that we could be deported back to our different countries in Africa. The complimentary cards of the policemen were shown to us and one of them Mr. Elicks was a police superintendent and the other named Mr. Israel, a secret police officer in the neighbourbood of Tel-Aviv where our bethel was located.
On the Thursday, only a few of us could boldly come to the bethel at 5pm. After waiting until 7pm, a call came from the Police asking if all the brethren had assembled. The Preacher, the Pastor, replied in the affirmative, yes. The two police officers themselves came and on entering the bethel, greeted us very cheerfully and sometimes pleading with us not to be afraid as they might have seen that we were afraid. They told us that we were about to receive some big visitors from the state of Israel. Within some minutes, some people started entering the bethel. They were some high ranking police officers, military officers and security officers, journalists with cameras and communication equipment. Youths, educationists, etc. followed them trooping into our bethel. What baffled us most was the presence of the Israeli Internal Security Minister, Avor dor Kahanis, and the Chief of Staff, Israeli Army. If we were to be deported, they did not need all these people to effect deportation order. The crowd of Israelis were now up to about forty people and our small bethel barely could contain them all. We ushered them into bethel as they arrived with spiritual songs and took them to their seats.
10.2 Visit by Israeli government officials
The following week, the police phoned us again requesting that we should gather again for another visit. This time, Israeli Parliamentarians, Religious leaders, some Youths, Journalists and Trade Union leaders wanted to visit us. They arrived, moved toward the altar, gazed at the Holy Father's photograph in the altar, and asked who he was. Later they all left. The Knesset parliament members also visited us and wanted seriously to know who the Holy Father is, and why He is dressed in red and we are dressed in white. The Minister of Interior Affairs again paid us another visit and came with a bigger crowd the following week. By now, our bethel was virtually a famous place among the Israeli officials as one group after the other visited us to look at the Father's photograph. The Prime Minister, Mr. Benjamin Nateyahu was also to visit us. We awaited him and even arranged our normal feasts but he was unable to come on the date fixed because of the loss of some Israeli soldiers around Lebanon so he had to go and visit on that day.
From the way, each group who came, kept asking the same question on the identity of the Holy Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu it was obvious they had not received the answer from us that satisfied their curiosity. So I contacted Bishop Ejedawe (Bishop in charge, Administration, Brotherhood Executive Council) and told him of the development in Israel. We sent him a return air ticket to come to Israel and assess the situation and act suitably as was necessary.
Pastor Onugu each time delivered an opening address welcoming the Israelis to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. We raised spiritual songs, and even danced to their admiration each time they came. They too clapped their hands and even danced with us. At the end, the Pastor now asked them to inform us of the mission. The Internal Security Minister wanted to know the type of Church we were running, the name of the Church, and who was the man in red in the picture in the altar. The Minister also wanted to know if this our church was existing all over the world especially in Europe and America and also wanted to know who the Founder is, if he is not the man in the picture dressed in red. Pastor Onugu responded to all their questions.
The Minister also asked some social question, wanting to know the population of the members, where we came from and if we were having some problems with the police especially during the time as a lot of arrests and deportations were going on. We answered that we did not have any problems with the police but were afraid of arrest and deportation going on. After some discussion among themselves, we were surprised to hear from the Minister that from that day, we were excluded from the deportation exercise. They promised more good things to come. We actually had a good meeting and photographs were taken. Handshakes and personal conversations with them also took place. They also promised coming a gain.
10.3 Bishop Matthew Ejedawe invited to reveal the identity of the Holy Father
Bishop Matthew Ejedawe received our invitation and came. When he arrived, he met the Israeli Security Officers and was asked the same questions that we were asked. He answered them and told them that Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is God manifest on earth and the Holy Spirit of Truth now manifest and is on earth to teach mankind and lead man to the utter knowledge of Truth, to transform man from sinful nature to righteous nature, to set up the kingdom of God on earth, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, and to judge mankind and to rule over the whole world. Some photographs were taken during this visit with the Israelis again and the Bishop later returned to Nigeria after some days. The Ministry of Interior later gave us a Certificate of Operation and Registration.
10.4 God blesses police officer Elick
One astonishing thing that happened was that the very police officer that the Holy Father revealed Himself to initially and led the Israelis to the bethel, Mr. Elick, was given promotion twice during a short period. He was so happy he came to us to testify that our Father has promoted him and did a feast in our bethel to glorify our Father for the blessing. Even the cousin of the first Prime Minister of Israeli, came to the bethel to see the Holy Father's photographs. He is Ariel Ben Gurion. Be the shita settlement (Kebbutzim). We also visited him.
May the Holy Father's will manifest in Israel and hold them to Himself. May God’s will manifest in the whole world now and forever. Amen
