    SADNESS TURNED INTO JOY

In the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ In the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ Now and forever more. Amen Sister Elizabeth, the wife of the former Military Governor married for 5 years and was blessed with children. The husband (then a military governor) ordered her out of the matrimonial home even though she had six sons for him. She stayed thereafter in the house for (six) months hungry, dejected and totally frustrated in life. The husband did not talk to her, she did not enter his room and had no food, no provision. His mother came and intervened but the husband paid deaf ears and to conclude the matter, he ushered in a proposed new wife. Elizabeth's sister appealed to him again but all fell on deaf ears. He was therefore so happy and relieved to hear that the wife was packing out; he helped her in the packing and gave her N400 and bid her bye bye. She packed and went home and later got a job at Port Harcourt but no peace, no joy. As if to add insult to injury, the husband collected two of her children without any consultation and went home with them and she became much more upset. He later went to report to her that he had taken his children and that he would collect the young one when he was grown up. Sister Elizabeth then went to all spiritual churches including the Cherubim and Seraphim and spent so much to see herself reunited with her husband. In some places she was asked to bring human head but no help. She eventually became tired, helpless, comfortless and hopeless. She was completely hopeless and despondent when she had a call into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star . She refused initially but accepted the invitation later and came to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star where she was told without her making any statement that she would be reconciled with her husband. She would never believe and by then, she had already given up and had already intended to marry another man and everything was set for their wedding. She was also told without her saying anything that the man she intended to marry was not her husband and that she would soon return to her husband's house and was told to baptise in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star . There was a great deal of hesitation and unbelief but she later conceded and got baptized. After baptism in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star , she went to visit her children. There, she learnt that their daddy ordered them to go home and she decided to go half way along with them to enjoy the free transport and their company. Arriving where they should part company, it was already late and. the children persuaded her to pass the night with them in the village and continue her journey the following day. She hesitated being very skeptical of her plight and well-being in the village but after a hot persuasion, she gave in and went along with them to the village. She was given a very cold reception by the villagers who later phoned their son to inform him of the presence of his former wife, an uninvited guest in the village and their intention to drive her away. They were shocked to their marrow when the then governor told them that he had all along been looking for his wife and queried why they intended driving his dear wife away. He ordered them to accord her a red carpet reception and promised to visit the village the following day. Things changed for the better. He changes things: Sadness into joy. The governor arrived home the next day in the company of 20 friends and she slumbered into the warm embrace of her husband who later took leave of her for a while in the company of the 20 friends. They later emerged to announce a committee of friends formed to ceremoniously receive her back to her matrimonial home and restore reunion, peace, love and joy. She was given a car and a driver to take her to their first son in Jos and she had the first privilege to enter and stay in her husband's real house in Jos. She is now folly settled and made these remarks: THANK YOU FATHER Sister Elizabeth Garuba, Jos:
