“Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written. The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play”

"And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts to dishonour their bodies between themselves.”

"And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, 0 ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slan. beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?" Have you seen the source of your mother's problems?
Brethren, that is the theme of our revelation this morning. This is also the cause of all the problems, tribulations, afflictions, poverty, sickness and death still besetting the inhabitants of the world.
You may think that there is nothing wrong with idolatry, but I want to tell you that there is a lot of this sin. Right from the day you make unto yourself a graven image, an idol and bow down to worship it, that marks the beginning of all your woes and sorrows.
From the day that you initiate yourself unto any secret society, God abandons you and that is the beginning of your sorrows. Right from the day you go to consult with a sorcerer. God forsakes you and you are visited with the wrath of God and death. Your problems starts from the day you receive a ring or talisman or amulet for one reason or the other.
What has brought about the prevailing conditions in the world - wars, fornications, lies, hatred, division and quarreling is the sin of idolatary which you do not regard as serious.
And God says, I am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generations of them that hate me.
The Gospel is that you should have no other God. Whether it is in the form of ring or leaf or gourd or chain or mask, you should not accept. If you are told that the charm is for protection against thunder, do not accept. It is God who is everything.
You may be told to bury certain preparation in the ground, do not bury anything, do not comply with any such instructions, and do not believe in 'them. That is what separates man from God. It is the greatest offence in the sight of God.
6.1 Idolatry defiles you
There is nothing that has defiled the world, the man, the family, the house, the community, as idolatry. It is the greatest sin in the sight of God. Unto this day, the inhabitants of the world have refused to disentangle themselves from diabolical things This is what has brought about the spiritual war and you see what will happen to all those who do not refrain from diabolical things. You should not doubt what will happen to the world.
You have no husband, you have no wife, no money and no house. These are no problems. What about all these preparation of concoctions and amulets and rings and talisman you have? The moment you forsake all these things, you are free.
If you like you can try it today. Forsake all your diabolic things and whatever you have for protection or prevention. Do not believe in diabolism again and you will realise that all your problems and afflictions, sicknesses and wants and all your sins are taken away.
You will then have a straight record with God and your name will be written in the book of life. If somebody gives you a rod, do not accept it; God is not a rod. If you are given a handkerchief, do not accept, because God is not a handkerchief. God is not a piece of wood. He is not a stone. He is none of these things. But God is Spirit, He is truth and love and life. God is the Father.
Do not believe that there is any other thing that can save you. There is nothing that can save you apart from God. I am telling you this with all boldness and that is why when a stranger comes here, I have to take him into every nook and comer of the vestry to prove to him that there is no earthly power here.
The moment you have a little diabolical thing .whether book or ring, I have nothing to do with you. Do you know that the worldly people do not know God? If they were to know God, they would not refer to Brotherhood as Beelzebub or ghost or mermaid. They would not say that there is something underneath it.
You will see somebody who was not a fornicator, a drunkard or a liar; but right from the day he goes to acquire a ring or a talisman for protection, he becomes a fornicator, a smoker, a drunkard, a liar and he begins to indulge himself in every form of sin. He is easily given to anger. You can see the price of idolatry.
You cannot refrain from telling lies, anger, stealing, greed until you forsake idolatry. And as long as you continue to have other gods you will fornicate and drink and steal and tell lies until you are sorry for yourself. That is why you are given this instruction today that we should not be idolaters as those of old were; who were destroyed.
Whether it is juju or mermaid or tree or rock, curse them because they are nothing. You affirm that of course, they are nothing but. all the same, you still have the ring .on your finger and you console yourself that you cannot see how it defiles your body. The body is not yours but the Lord's.
Why do you put on the ring or talisman then? You cannot tell me that you are just putting it on for show. The moment you keep any such thing, all sins and evils will converge in your body because God has left you.
6.2 Idolatry leads to sin
All the sins that are in the world are brought about by idolatry. There is no robber who does not prepare charms. All those who commit other sins, fornicators and liars, all indulge in diabolism. Necromancers, thieves and other sinners are given to idolatry since it is God who has given them over to this abomination because they refused to know. God. That is why they die by the road side and are eaten by beasts.
The first condition in Brotherhood is that if you have initiated into cult like the ekpe, ekpo, obon or into society as AMQRC ogboni, freemansonry, you have to deny them completely, other-wise you have no share in this Kingdom.
Christ has said that every plant which his Father did not plant will be up-rooted. You can see how this is manifesting today. Even Charm-diggers are digging charms everywhere. When they come to your house, they will dig out everything which does not give glory to God from the house, from waters, in America, in India, in Russia and everywhere. What is digging of charms?
The sin of idolatry is the last enemy of God and it is what defiles man. It is what separates man from God. It is Lucifer who has introduced drinking. He is the person who has introduced idolatry and he is at the head of all diabolical means.
These are what defile the world. And right from that time, the Holy Spirit will desert you and you are at the mercy of death, hades, afflictions, tribulations, sickness, lack of peace and joy. You are neither alive nor dead.
It is written that except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain who would build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman watches but in "vain. Who is it that can protect you, who is it that can build you up except God? He is the one who builds us. He lives inside us. He is with you and walks with you.
Go and investigate into the churches and individuals one by one and see if you will not find one thing or the other which is diabolical in them. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is the only place where you cannot find any diabolical thing.
The world turns around to say that Brotherhood is apparition, Beelzebub, and mermaid, are they sane at all? Let our first lesson be read. If there is any among you .still having his ring or charm for preventing thunder, forsake all of them because it is God who is everything.

6.3 Idolatry disgraces you
All necromancers are idolaters. God has rebuked. You cannot sleep again, you see witches and apparitions. The angel has to pluck out your eyes and push you around because you are a wanted person for practising idolatry.
God created you and has declared that you are gods but you bow down to worship a tree. It is a disgrace to God and right from that day, God has to hand you over to animals and insects to treat you the way they like.
You accuse Brotherhood of worshiping a human being and yet you worship trees, rings, rocks, leaves and .water. You fall down before a shrine and ask it to save you. Is that not sinful?
6.4 Destruction awaits idolaters
It was for this sin that God sent Elijah to come and destroy all the worshippers of Baal. That was quite a small thing compared with what is going-to happen at this end of time to all idolaters.
There is nothing that separates man from God as indulging in diabolical things which you do not regard as sinful. These shaky things which you keep for your protection bring tribulations and destruction unto you. There is no sin that you will not commit the moment you indulge in idolatry and you will suffer in hell for it.
There is no native doctor who has peace. There is no sorcerer who has peace, there is no person who has either ring or chains or rod or amulet who has peace. These are the things which hinder them. They are covered with darkness and their eyes are darkened because they are in hell fire. His work is to drink, kill, fornicate, smoke, and indulge in every evil thing. You will tell lies even to yourself. You are angry at every little thing. You cause trouble and disgrace yourself before the young and the old because God has forsaken you.
Have you not heard that outside the city are dogs, fornicators, murderers, whore-mongers, sorcerers and Idolaters? Many of you ask why your brother does not come in here because he has love and is .kind. It is because of the diabolical thing he is keeping and worshiping which has stopped him from coming in here.
Man is a fearful, creature. You can stay with someone in a house and he has a ring without your knowledge. He may tie some charm on his waist, and even drink some but you do not know. You do not know that he has certain charms with him.
If you have no charm, you are one with God. You will have patience, and love and you will not commit any sin again. But if you have even one charm, God will throw you away. You become a laughing stock. You will indulge in every sin in the world and every evil thing visits you.
That is why when you come to Brotherhood, the first thing is that if you have charms or some other diabolical things in your house, you have to forsake them completely otherwise you cannot remain here for long. After a week you will go back to your charms.
The moment you consult a sorcerer, right from that day disaster will strike. Whether you believe it or not, something evil will happen to you. This is to prove to you that God does not appreciate anything diabolical.
Some people complain that they have been in Brotherhood and have not benefited from it. If you are a Brotherhood, why do you have charms in your house? Why do you consult with necromancers? Why do you seek protection from these things?
Do you not know that God does not like these' things? Do you not know that these things bring destruction and death and all the sufferings in the world?
6.5 Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is pure
It is said that whoever wants to save his life will loose it but whoever looses his life for my sake and for the sake of the gospel shall be saved. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star which has nothing diabolical has been a terror to the whole world.
They argue that it is beelzebub, ghost, mermaid and every evil thing. But they who are all these things are languishing in sorrow and pain while Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is rejoicing.
The surprising thing is that if you tell your father or mother or brother or uncle to forsake charms, he will ask if you want them to be killed by witches. He will ask if you have not seen how numerous his enemies are. "If I come to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star will your Leader give me something for protection?" they will. ask. Right now you are not using anything. You do not receive injections and you have no charms. When you tell them this, they will not believe you. They continue to say that there is something in your pocket, and around your waist, in your mouth; and that he cannot afford to go without something.
If you do not forsake preparations of concoction, mermaids, juju and all similar things, you cannot have peace. When you forsake them, you have peace.
What has made you a wretch is that ring, the talisman, that charm you have buried inside your house, the one you have injected into your body, these are the things that have made you wretched. It is what has brought about all your sufferings. From the day you gather these things and throw them away, you have all that you lacked plus eternal life.
You say you are jobless and so you prepare charms so that you may have a job. You will not have any. You indulge in charms so that you may have a car or that people may love you, you will not have any of these things.
If you rather forsake these things- and pray to God, you will have promotion, and a job and people will love you and you will have everything. That is the order of things. God does not want the world to perish at this end of time. I am standing in the Highest Heaven, and declaring to all those who have idols of one .kind or the other to forsake them completely, and make peace with God because this is the time for peace. Otherwise the destruction that will visit you will be terrible. This is a spiritual warfare waged by the Holy Spirit.
Some of your problems emanated from the rings and amulets and charms which you have acquired. It is not that there is anything in this, but is just that God does not like them and that is why you are beset with all these problems.
You have heard that God drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden and from that day, they suffered all forms of affliction and tribulation. So it is with every one who is an idolater.
From that day you indulge in idolatry you have to suffer want and all forms of sickness and afflictions. But as soon as you forsake them, your way will open and you will see God face to face and find peace in your life.
Heaven and earth and their fullness belong to God. What belongs to God also belong to his children. Why then do you continue to suffer? It is because you have forsaken God and have gone to bow before rocks, trees and streams. You .prepare food for these things and ask them to save you.
It is for this reason that God has forsaken you. It is because of all the abominations that you have committed. You lie with your sister, you kill and tell lies and indulge in all evil things - it is for these reasons that God has forsaken you. Let our second lesson be read:

When you go to the juju doctor's house, when you visit the occultist and the mystic you will find woods and masks and rings and chains and diverse sorts of objects. And I ask what are in these things? What are they? You will be told that the ring is for a certain purpose, the talisman is for protection, the oil is for good luck. The necromancer himself is overwhelmed with darkness and this has been the source of all the sorrows, lamentation and woes which visit the world.
6.6 The whole world is polluted
It is for this reason that we are looking for a virgin land where we can settle down separated from the world because the whole world is polluted. We will build our own houses in that forest. Even if it means living in the uncleared bush for some time, we will accept it, as long as we keep off from the pollution in the world. This is because you cannot convince the world even by going from city to city to forsake these diabolical things.
6.7 Reject diabolism etc.
In the throne of the king or chief, you will find either a mask or a charm or one thing or the other. They are so used to it that they cannot forsake it. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge. God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie; that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
As the last warning to all of you, as a final opportunity given, you are warned this day to throw away all your charms and rings and talisman and diabolical things otherwise the spiritual war which the Holy Spirit is soon to start will not augur well with you. It is said do not be afraid of the lions because they have been chained. There is neither juju nor charm, there is neither mermaid nor concoction; There is neither ghost nor apparition. Fear not, for people merely use them as means of their livelihood. They use them in deceiving you. These things do not exist.
They will keep a carved doll and order that it should do certain things. They prepare another one and call it 'Mama' and another one "Akpan". They will tell you that these were what protected your fore-fathers. It is a lie.
6.8 Idolatry exposes you to evil
The moment you accept them, you are covered with darkness. God will forsake you to all forms of affliction. Thieves will break into your house. Hunger, sickness and all forms of problems will visit you and you will attribute these to charms. There is nothing, like charms. It is your belief in idolatry that has brought about your downfall.
If you were not really a sheep, the testimonies given to you by juju doctors, sorcerers, necromancers and mermaid priests would be enough to convince you that apart from God, there is nothing like preparation of concoction, juju or charms.
When you are separated from God, you are beset with sickness, lack, poverty, death. The day you accept and believe in diabolical things, God hands you over to all abominable deeds. Right now it is said: this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, I will put my laws into their mind not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers.
6.9 God is here to destroy idolaters
I must have to destroy all these evil powers, which prevail against you, so that you may serve the living God. The wrath of God is upon all necromancers and juju doctors, upon all who have rings and talismans and amulets. The wrath of God is upon all those who believe in these things.
Go and tell your father or brother or friend who believes in all diabolical things that God is not a ring or a talisman or an amulet. Tell him to forsake all such things because God is a Spirit and he lives in us.
Our Lord Jesus Christ has said that at the end, the Son of Man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his Kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity. If you like, go to Obubra, Ikom, Ogoja or Uqua-Ibom and listen to their testimonies because they have felt the impact of the power in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Very many of us would have been millionaires, we would not have been sick or in lack but for the rings, charms and preparation of concoctions which we have for ourselves.
6.10 Idolatry blocks blessings
Indulgence in diabolical things makes it impossible for good things to come your way. Heaven is here and hell is also here. Right from the day that you go to prepare yourself one charm or the other for protection, you are thrown into hell. All those who forsake these things are in heaven.
That explains why many people on being converted into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, confess that they have peace. This is because they have thrown away all their charms and diabolical things which they acquire.
Many others confess that they cannot find peace. The reason, is that they still worship juju and continue to have belief in diabolical things. That is why you do not have peace. Many come into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and later on backslide into the world. This is because you have gone back to sacrifice unto the mermaids and juju. For this reason, you are handed over to the hosts of heaven.
Whoever has forsaken the world and all the things in it should in no wise go back into these things because they bring tribulation and death. When you go to consult the sorcerer and when you indulge in the preparation of concoctions, you are not helping yourself rather you are destroying yourself by such acts.
6.11 Idolatry annoys God
There is no sin which annoys God as someone worshipping juju, mermaids and things which are under your feet. You defile yourself when you do this. When God created man what did He say? He told him to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fishes of the sea, and over the fowls of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. All the creations are under the control and ruler-ship of man. God did not tell man to go and be ruled by the tree. He did not tell man to bow to the wood or rock or stream. God did not say that.
6.12 You are image of God
You are the image and likeness of God. You are one with him. That is why no other thing annoys God as man putting on a ring, a chain, or carrying a rod or talisman with the belief that these charms have power.
Practising the lessons imparted to you does not imply bowing down to worship anything, We are only concerned with practising the word of God, to love one another.
Believe in God, believe in the words of God and practise the words of God and you are free. From the day you forsake the Word of God and believe in your heart that there is. witchery and juju, you are overwhelmed with darkness. You are given over to the angels for punishment.
I know and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself. But to, him that esteemeth anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
Therefore, there is no juju or mermaid, witchcraft or apparition or charms except to the person who believes that these things are existing. Think about this. Who has made the stones, the trees, the angels and everything? It is God who made everything. And where is God? He is right here on earth. Who is greater Is it God or his creation? You can now see your nakedness.
Do not be deceived by any person who claims that he acquired power from America. Tell him to go away with his power because we do not require it. Do not allow any person to deceive you again.
Right from the day you receive a ring or bottled preparations of concoction, observe yourself and you will realise that you have met with destruction. All the things we count for wisdom and foresight are what have brought destruction unto us.
If you had come into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star as fools when you were told to forsake all your diabology because they do not exist, if you had complied with this, you would not have had any problems.
The Idols and all such ungodly things you believe in and worship are lifeless and have no power. The power you ascribe to them are not from them. The witch doctor who deceives you into them is the indirect provider of the power through his spoken words. It is the witch doctor, being a man, that possesses the word in him. It is him, who speaks the word whose effect occurs according to his word pronounce by him during his ritual. If he says nothing during the ritual incantation, there will be no effect because only his word as a man has effect and not the idols that you believe in and worship. The word is of God and is God. Man is given power to his word by God. Spoken word has power, so go direct to God yourself and speak the word and you will have the effect you want. You do not need the witch doctor and certainly not the idols that you worship and expose yourself to sin and punishments from God. Flee from all such practice and ensure your words are edifying when you speak.
6.13 I lead you with truth
I am your Leader and I use the truth to execute judgement. I use the truth in waging war, I am on the top of the palm tree telling you that the fruit is not yet ripe; but you stand on the ground and argue that it is ripe.
Now the inhabitants of the world are calling me juju, ghost, apparition and Beelzebub. But there is no scratch or incision on my body. I do not believe any such thing. Do you not realise that if you resemble me, you will also be called the same name?
If you want to save yourself, God will forsake you but if you surrender yourself to God, he will save you. How can juju or charm save you when God does not save you? How can they protect you when God does not protect you? Why do you not understand? Since you started consulting oracles and indulging in preparation of concoctions, what benefit have you derived?
Why is it that when you are told that there is a certain powerful man at such and such a place, you follow him? When you go around, you will .discover that all the diabolical things are dying away.
In Imo, State the once celebrated priest of the god of thunder is now serving God in the Bethel. Right from the day you indulge in diabology you have no thinking faculty again, you are blind and everything in you is damaged. Your house is desolate because God has forsaken you. Let our Golden text be read:

Have you seen the source of your mother's problems?
Have you seen the source of, the problems of your fathers, community and society? Have you seen the kind of punishment they are suffering? They have brought their suffering upon themselves.
Go and see any secret society member who has denounced all these things and you will realise the joy, peace and prosperity which they have by forsaking these idols. You will be told to bring goats and hens and drinks. You will be told to buy certain thing so that they may prepare you a certain charm. These are the things that bring wretchedness to you forever.
6.14 Idolaters have no peace
There is neither juju doctor nor society man who has peace. All of them are in hell .fire. Do you not know what is called hell-fire? That is why this warning is .given to all men and angels not to worship whatever is created by man. Do not accept rings and talisman again. Do not go to some body to double your money for you. All these are nothing but destruction.
Have you seen what has been the cause of death? When you do these things, you are handed over to the hosts of heaven. That has brought about death in the world.
The Israelites asked Aaron to prepare a golden calf for them. They sacrificed to it, and God sent down angels to destroy them. Thousands died in the wilderness.
That is the reason why death afflicts us. Your children are dying and you are dying. God has given you to the hosts of heaven to deal with you as they please because you have forsaken him to worship idols.
6.15 God himself is here
The time of foolishness is now gone. Go and tell our community, your government, your company that all of them should seek after God and forsake all their idols. They were not created by these things but by God.
The Holy Spirit has come to straighten what was crooked. There is no other power which can rear its head. The Holy Spirit is in control of everything. Do not be afraid of anything. Wherever you want to go, you are free because there is nothing that can harm the children of God.
We have to thank the Father because He has come in the power of the Holy Spirit to remove all the shaky things and whatever does not bring glory to God. Do not be deceived with flattery which leads to death. The Father has come. The Son has come. The Holy Spirit has come to fight with the powers of darkness.
When you have pains on your legs, it is because you have gone and collected rings and talisman and charms from the juju doctors.
You complain that you have been in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star but you have not found peace; do you actually look for peace? You say that you have been in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star without having money: do you look for money? You say you have been in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star without deriving any benefits; do you look for benefits?
6.16 Forsake idolatry
Has God not told you not to bow to any graven image? It is a disgrace for a Brotherhood member to go to a necromancer for protection. There is no other power. The day you think of it. God forsakes you. Right from the day we indulge in diabolism, we have forsaken God; He also hands us over to the hosts of heaven.
Let us forsake juju, mermaid and concoctions and reverence the living God. Shedrach and his two friends refused to worship the golden image. They could not bow to any created thing. The reason that they were put into the fire was that they swore they would never worship any thing made by man, whether stone or iron. Did the fire harm them? No
The first and foremost thing which we have to do is that we should not bow down to anything created by human hands. Do not believe in them Do not pour libation whether it is in your town or in your family. Do not think of it and do not have anything to do with them, because it is destruction.
God has forsaken all the necromancers and members of the secret societies. God has forsaken all those who have one form of protection or another other than God. They are all in hell-fire. That is why suffering has been visited upon the children of men. It is disobedience and hardening of heart that has brought about the sufferings.
They confess that they have never killed any person but that they have some rings for personal protection. What are you using the ring for? Is the ring God who created man?
Brethren, it is said that one stroke of the cane .is sufficient unto the wise. I will not be tedious unto you. Those who have ears to hear, let them hear. May the Lord Bless His holy words. Amen
