Everlasting Gospel
Galatians: 4:8-11
“Howbeit then, when ye know not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain”.
You still hold fast to your past ways of life. You are uncertain about life and for that reason you consult fortune tellers and make sacrifices to appease whatever gods you believe in. You believe that there are some problems that God cannot solve for you. This feeling is a negation of your faith and your continuous attendance of Bible class amounts to nothing. You take part in every traditional festival (ritual) which connotes sacrifices to gods you worship. You cannot combine gospels with pouring of libation, making sacrifices, performing second burials and keeping mourning houses. They (the words of God and traditions) can not blend.
If tradition is not religiously significant in the society and Christian religion does not approve of it, the fact then is, it should be discontinued.
It is not enough for Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to partake in these rituals just because the heads of a village or paramount ruler wants everybody to take part. This is a mere waste of time.. Appraise yourself and see whether your condition of life is the same now that you embrace Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and the period you were knee deep in fetishism and rituals. Without being told you know that your past life was unfulfilling. Since you did not know God, God did not recognise you as His child. Hence you continuously encountered in inexplicable problems. The fact that, He called you into His kingdom, should enable you forget and denounce your old customs and traditions.
7.1 Denounce ritualism
Brotherhood of the Cross arid Star has nothing to do with these evil acts. We do not worship any object and we do not perform any ritual. Worshipping of deities, pouring of libation, performing of second burial are abominations in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Brotherhood is higher than all known traditions because we are worshipping God in spirit and in truth. Only those who are in spiritual bondage can still accommodate such acts in this era of spiritual emancipation.
The whole world is still in bondage that is why people are still wallowing in ritualism.
Many church organisations continue to indulge in ritualism. These churches claim to be spiritual in nature but they practise occultism which is contrary to their faith. Those who have renounced ritual and occult practices should disassociate themselves from it completely.
7.2 You are baptised into Christ
There is no need for another baptism when one had been baptised into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Whereas other churches ask you to bring candles, perfume and special water fetched at a special times in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star we do pot use candles. Having been baptised into Christ, you have no need for these frivolous things, because Christ is in you. You need not bow to these fetishes, since you have a superior Being to bow to. Apart from the Holy Spirit in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, whom do you need to kneel down for?
Some of these churches do not allow mothers of twin to have access to every place. These people are still engrossed in tradition. You can recall in the bible that, Eve gave birth to twins twice. . Rebecca also gave birth to Esau and Jacob. So, any culture or tradition which frowns at twin mothers is not a wholesome tradition. And, any place which restricts the movement or duties of women with menses has nothing to do with the scriptures. There is no taboo in the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. And we do not have any job which is strictly for men or women.
7.3 Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is a model
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is a model, as such, any teaching that does not conform with its teachings should be discarded. Most of these places use their traditional religious beliefs to deceive people that they are using: the Holy Bible. The irony of it all is that, these places indulge in stealing, fornication, among other societal ills. This is not in keeping with the scriptures; They even stop their members from shaking hands with non-members.
Why do these people wear shoes to churches but put them off during their traditional mourning periods. They cannot give a satisfactory reason for this. These are unnecessary traditions which must be discarded forthwith.
Colossians 2:20
“Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances”.
You are supposed to have nothing to do with the world once you are baptised into this kingdom. If you would want to continue in traditional rites, it means there is no need of your attending bible class. It is a common practice for you to swear to a deity or take oath in order to prove your innocence when you are accused. You feel that by taking oath you become a good man. This primitive practice has nothing to do with God. There is no special place where God can be worshipped. Bow your head and pray to God at any place because He is an omnipresent God.
Matthew 18::20
“For where two or three are gathered together in. my name, there am I in the midst of them”
You move from one church to another seeking for frivolous things. You are so gullible that, you allow those who do not see beyond their nose to lead you. These people exploit your weakness to their advantage. If you were a wise man, you would have stayed in your house to fast and pray to God for your problems. And your mode of fasting and prayers should be done according to Christ's directives. This would have solved your problems.
James 5: -14
"Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him,
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
It is pathetic for a Brotherhood of the Cross and Star member to contact somebody, visit shrines and go to thick forests and rivers in search of God. When you are asked to buy things like cock, candies, calabash among others for a traditional medicine man to use for curing your sickness or to solve your problem, you directly expose your state of spiritual ignorance.
7.4 Fasting and feast are the solution to your problem
If you have any problem, fast privately, pray and celebrate feast. Your problem will be solved as soon as you do these. There is no other power on earth except that of God. It is through fasting you are nearer to God.
There is nothing secret about Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. If you study the churches you will know that the teaching of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star are unique. You are called into this kingdom because God knows the world is not a good place for you. This explains why I hold bible class among other avenues to teach you the right way to live.
I could have discontinued with bible classes, but for the fact that, I do not want you to be deceived by unscrupulous people around. Most people alternate their worship between Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and some mushroom prayer houses. I wonder what benefit you derive from these mushroom prayer houses. These places are sustained by your contributions. You are charged for healing and other spiritual works which is a negation of what the Bible advises.
Matthew: 10:8
“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils, freely ye have received, freely give.”
There is proliferation of churches everywhere, yet none-practises the word of God. Some Brotherhood of the Cross and Star members would want to extort money from those who patronise them.
The irony is that, the proprietors of these prayer houses would visit medical doctors and consult oracles when they have problems yet, they are the people which you hang your hope on. These people are wallowing, in sins and they claim to be Christians. They would deceive their victims through false visions that the Father wants them to marry a particular woman, whom they fancy. If you yield to such frivolous falsehood, it means you do not have faith in God. God cannot give approval to such unwholesome practice.
If you believe in the supremacy of God, you would not patronise these pseudo churches. There should have not been any rapport between you and these places. You must know that you have a Father who is greater than any being.
Once a person is baptised, he or she is saved according to Christ. But it is surprising to see you move from one pillar to post looking for man made saviour and would want to pay any amount of money for prayers, yet you are baptised. You would possess the holy oil but you would not use the one you have. Rather you ignore yours and opt for the one in the prayer houses or healing homes. The holy oil used in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is cherished by secret society members for their personal use but members do not know it's usefulness. You should know that, it. is your ignorance which prompts me to work more than I ought to.
The moment you get baptised you ought to renounce all sins. But surprisingly, you are engrossed in fornication, stealing, and adultery among other sins. These are the causes of your problems. You are enjoined to discontinue the eating of meat and fish as well as flee from fornication. There are some members who were not interested in fornication, but the moment they get baptised into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star they become sex maniacs as though they have seen women for the first time in their lives.
A man would promise never to have anything to do with woman. But in no time, he gets infatuated and would want a woman by all means. They can even use the venue for bible class lecture as their meeting point. Is that what you are expected to do in this kingdom?
If you want to register in the healing home or prayer house, go there, everything there belongs to the Father too. But what does the Father say about them and some of their methods?
Were you not baptised? Or did you not receive the Holy Spirit? It is said that these signs' will follow them that believe. If you were baptised, why have you not received the sign? If you have .received the sign why do you go for prayer at the healing homes? And why do you believe on what these people tell you? Immediately you are baptised and have faith, you can pray for the sick to recover and you cannot be harmed by any means. This is to vindicate what the scripture states:
Mark: 16:16-18
“He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them they lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.”
Why then do you patronise prayer houses? You behave as though you are not acquainted with the word of God. You should repent and the time is now. This means, love one another; be merciful, patient and enduring.
Everyday you keep on confessing your sins which you go back to practise. What need is your regular attendance in the bible classes, if you cannot change? You call your selves, brother and sister in the bethel. How then can you help your brethren when they are in trouble? Is that the love of one another which I preach to you? You initiate into societies and read their monographs. Are they your friends? Why do you like making friends with unbelievers?
In Ikono, there is a report of a trouble between Old Brotherhood of the Cross and Star members and the new ones. The new ones are very active in their work as they occupy positions of authority and baptise many converts in to the fold. As such. the old members are offended. because, they feel that their positions have been usurped and their source of money taken away from them. And in Ondo State, members also quarrel because of not being allowed to collect or charge money for the services they render. This action resulted in exit of many prominent people from Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.
Some unscrupulous members of Brotherhood charge money for vision, baptism and other spiritual works. The reason that you cannot have a good rapport with God is because of your short comings. You claim to be ordained but you do not want to piactise the gospel as preached to you by the Father. You cannot repent when you are still engrossed in fornication, stealing and telling of lies. You complained of being in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and still with problems. This is so because, you have refused to part with sins.
You are admonished to refrain from your old practices. You should love one another as I love you, The old members should give room for new members in the bethels. You should also be your brothers keeper. Note that your behaviour can scare people away from this kingdom. It is because of your unbecoming behaviour which prompts non members to have a wrong notion about this kingdom.
If you were to repent and love one another as you are taught, nobody would have condemned the teachings of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.
You claim to be a member of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, yet you also consult occultists for your problems. Despite my teachings, you do not want to repent and change for the better. I wonder what you want me to do. Any one who practises my teachings cannot have any problem. What do you gain from the prayer houses which you patronise?
There is no other way of repentance except one refrains from sinful acts. When you practise Brotherhood of the Cross and Star's teachings, it means you have repented. And if you do not practise these words, it means you still remain in sins.
