Everlasting Gospel
First lesson: 1 Corinthians 8:4
"As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one."
Second lesson: Romans 1:21
"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”

"Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them, as it is written: The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to eat and Drink, and rose up to play."
Brethren, that is our lesson for tonight. You will now see the reason why we neither slumber nor sleep, during the day and at night. But it is pitiful situation for the world.
Look at the number of church denominations in the world. Side by side with this, you also see the number of fetishes and shrines and all that is dedicated to diabolical things. Each Bishop has his shrine. Each Reverend has his.
The church denominations have their prayers houses, Government officials and individuals have shrines where they worship diabolical things. At times you will hear that the government has ordered that a whole cow should be put into the river for mermaid to appease the sea gods. At other times you will hear people saying they want to sacrifice to mermaid because they are being worried by mermaid. They even recommend that you should feed the mermaid so that you may be set free. At times you are told that it is the traditional idol of your family, or the diabolical things of your family or the long standing juju of your mother. They offer certain pieces of advice which they want you to implement.
8.1 Africans have reached the height of idolatry
Why we sympathise over the whole situation is that, even in a place like India, with the experience and civilization they have so far acquired yet the whole place is filled with various kinds of fetishes and diabolical things which they worship. If you go among the Chinese, the Europeans, the Americans and in many other parts of the world you will see different types of shrines. In Nigeria and other African countries, you will notice that the people are given to Idolatry because of many magnificent buildings erected in big towns and cities for these things. You will also notice in towns and cities, buildings erected for Lodges, and some secret societies, and members always go there to do what they like. Sometimes these members go into such buildings and stay over the night, Some go to forest, some to the river sides, some to mountain sides. Why do they go to these places? What actually do they do there?
8.2 You know God but do not glorify him as God
The Bible has specifically told you that idolatry should not exist. If you wish, call upon ghost or apparition or witchcraft or charms, and anything else you imagine can help, but there is, only one God who is the Ruler of heavens and earth. There is none other except our Lord Jesus Christ. People claim that they are very knowledgeable but they do not give Him the glory due to Him. You continue to bury yourselves in your vain imaginations and because of this, you are covered with darkness.
It is true that the blind cannot lead the blind. All the things, we have mentioned; whether it is ghost or apparition or secret societies, many of such things are brought by the white. If they had known God, why should they be so vain in their thinking and imagination? The destruction besetting the whole world come from them. If you go to Jerusalem or Egypt or India or to any of the civilized countries in all parts of the world, many people have their shrines in which they worship. In Africa as a whole it is the same. This is idolatry. It is not true when people say that the charm or mermaid has punished a person. There is nothing like that. When people have erred and are punished, it is the angel of God who has beaten them up. Any person who departs from worshipping the true God but concentrates on the worship of apparition and other diabolical things, .such a person will be beaten up by the angels. When it is said that a person is disturbed by juju or mermaid, or witchcraft, it is erroneous. Nothing at all exists, nothing disturbes him except the angel of God. Any person who abandons worshipping the only true God, but worships mermaids, apparition, or any diabolical thing, will be beaten up by the angels. When a person is said to have been disturbed by his juju, mermaid or diabolical things, this cannot be true. The truth is that he is beaten up by the angels of God.
8.3 Idolaters are cursed
The wrath of God is upon all the inhabitants of the world because of worshipping things which do not exist. It is a tearful situation for a whole community to acquire what they claim can protect their community, their families, and their children. It is lamentable to notice that a church denomination keeps something they believe to protect them. The wrath of God upon such groups of persons, makes the situation very lamentable. Some people hold that such'" practice had remained their long standing family tradition, and that it belonged to their great grand fathers. They will swear that the. fetish is very powerful without which they would not be alive. Who tells you so? It is Jehovah God and His Christ alone who protects the whole world, the heaven and the earth, trees, birds, fishes and animals. Even if a visioner tells you that you are being bewitched and disturbed by juju or mermaid, show him that portion of the Bible.
8.4 Figment of people's imagination
When your community says they are going to arrange to sacrifice to the gods of the land in order to appease them, there is no profit from such an arrangement and it leads to destruction. When it is said “give to Ceasar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's”, what does it mean? You all know from your history that Augustus Caesar was the Emperor of the Roman Empire and it was so said because on every coin was the image and superscription of the Emperor. God does not prevent you from paying your tax, dues, rates or whatever the government demands from you; which binds all the citizens of a country. But to say that there is mermaid, apparition, or that any such like things, is in existence, is to say the least, the figment of peoples imagination. The only person in existence is Jehovah God and His Christ. If you think that you are being disturbed because you have not sacrificed in order to appease the idols of your forefathers, right from this night, desist from such thoughts and beliefs. Kill such thoughts in your mind because there is no other god except Jehovah God and His Christ.
8.5 Do not make any sacrifice
When you are told that your mother is in water seeking for food or that your husband is in water, there is no such thing. Your husband is neither in water nor on the land. It is our Lord Jesus Christ who is your husband. The money you should use in serving God, you invest in what does not exist and as a result, the angel beats you up, kicks you about, plucks off your eyes, and cuts off your ears. If you have left in your house any ring. it is for this reason that you have invited an angel to pluck off your eyes, and cut off your ears. If in your heart, you still believe that there is mermaid or witchery or juju, that is why you are still covered with darkness and you cannot see because the foolishness of your heart has darkened you.
8.6 There is no ghost
Let no person or angel or spirit deceive you that there is any other God in existence or that there is juju, or mermaid, or apparition. There is nothing except Jehovah God and His Christ who is in existence. When you are instructed to go to a cemetery that a ghost is going to speak to you; or that by twelve O'clock midnight you should go to a forest, do not go because it is sheer foolishness and utter waste of, time. When somebody tells you that a ring has been prescribed for hearing whatever is spoken through the air, or to understand the language of the birds, do not believe. Sometimes somebody says he is prepared to give you talisman which will do certain things for you, do not accept it, because such things do not exist. Any day that you conceive such a thought, the dirty slap that the angel will deal on you will be unthinkable.
8.7 God is monotheistic
This explains why you find secret society members being so poor and wretched. What do you think impoverishes them? They are sickly, some become blind, others become lame others are paralysed, some faint and die on the road.
Any person who abandons the only true and monotheistic God to worship diabolical thing finds himself in trouble. He is the same true God for there is no variableness in Him. From the beginning He is the God of both the whites and blacks, the God of the birds, and animals, and fishes, and angels, as well as human beings. He alone created all things and rules over all things. There is no other God and there is nothing like unto Him anywhere else.
8.8 Do not have any other god
And God says, "Thou shalt have no other god before me and Thou shall not make unto thyself' any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth, because I am a jealous God"
From the day, you begin to consult an oracle, angels will begin to challenge you and make trouble with you. Not that these things so mentioned are not in existence but because you are disobedient and recalcitrant, it means you have fallen short of the way of God. It is always a pitiful situation to hear somebody attesting to the power of a charm and how juju or any diabolical thing speaks and interrogates. This is erroneous and false. It is only because of your foolishness, your heart is darkened. We have only one God who created man, we have only one Father and One Lord. He does not require any type of sacrifice. He wants a broken and a contrite heart, a' broken and a contrite spirit, as well as confession of sin, repentance and pleading with him to forgive' you and he forgives you readily. He requires neither wine, nor snuff, no goat, nor any type of sacrifice. His only sacrifice is prayer. And so brethren, I do not wish to overload you, the first lesson will now be read.
First lesson 1 Corinthians 8:4
"As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one."
Brethren have you heard that? What about those your visioners, who stand before God and tell you that you are being bewitched by mermaid, that you should go to feed the mermaid? Where are the visioners who tell you that wizards are worrying you and that your entire household has been sold to witchcraft? That is why our Lord Jesus Christ has passed through Paul to warn that you be not troubled by angel or by a letter written by him, that the day of the Lord has come, you should not believe. Because false prophets and spirits have filled the whole world. Even if you are told in the dream that somebody impersonates God and tells you that there is witchery and mermaid, tell him, they do not exist.
8.9 The cause of man's problem
Even if somebody rises up and tells you that he is the Christ and advises you to go and cast certain things into water because your mother who is in water wants you to cast those things, tell him such a thing does not exist. Even as we are sitting down here, if there is any of your consciences arguing that such diabolical things exist but that they are not harmful to you again, empty your mind of such a conscience.
You will ask about the source of your problem. The source of your problem is that you have refused to believe in God. Your sickness is that you have left God with utter abandon and have gone to worship something which is not God. Your punishment derives from your departure from the one true God. You profess to know God but you worship what is not existing. When you worship something which is not God your eyes are darkened.
8.10 Even church members are involved in sacrificing to idols
Think of a whole community buying wine, and goats and cows, and fowls and white cloth that they are going to sacrifise in-order to appease their gods and idols. Villagers go, members of the various church denominations join them consoling themselves that they give unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar and render to God what belongs to God. It is because of this that death, sickness, tribulation, affliction, wretchedness beset you. You observe times and seasons, that this is the time for new yam, at another it will be the time of new corn; but I tell you such observances and celebration do not exist and only bring problems to you.
8.11 There should be no libation
That is why here in Brotherhood there is no libation. We do not pour any drinks on the ground. Traditions are not observed, nothing at all in this direction is done. No sacrifices of any kind are offered. We know that there is no other thing to be worshipped apart from the only true God. We worship neither day; nor week, nor month, nor time, nor the earth,, nor a language, nor sand and gravel, nor star, nor angel. We worship God who is the veritable truth. That is why your eyes are clear and your faces are bright. It also explains why you are much more elevated than others. Anybody who tells you to enlighten him on how to worship God should be told to refrain from "all kinds of diabolical things". He should not pour libation nor observe traditions, nor initiate into any secret society, nor should he worship any other thing apart form God who created him. Do not worship rings, do not worship talisman, do not worship magic powder, do not worship chains, do not worship water, do not worship handkerchiefs, do not worship anything at all because none of these things is in existence.
8.12 If you enter the way of iniquity God will let you go with workers of iniquity
Know this clearly, that it fulfils unto you according to the proportion of faith you have. Know this that whoever rejects God is worthy of punishment. All the punishments besetting the whites, the blacks, and the coloured result from their rejection of the Almighty God and His Words. The Word of God has told you specifically that, those who enter into the path of iniquity, Jehovah God will allow them to go until they suffer for it. Because they have refused to know God with their own wisdom. God has sent to them great illusion, that they should believe, that which is false.
At this end time, as a result of the merciful kindness of God, his truth and other virtues, all human beings should keep their sanctity and purity, and refrain from all manners of diabolical things. Anything evil in the sight of God should be cast away, for God has no deputy nor any assistant to Himself. He alone exists.
8.13 It is better to obey God rather than man
If somebody tells you to celebrate a fruit feast, do it. If he tells you to use three types of fruit for your feast, do so. But when somebody tells you to prepare fruit feast and throw inside water, do not do it. If somebody tells you to go and sacrifice and do all such like things which do not give glory to God, do not do it. If somebody gives you vision that it is because you do not believe in God that is why you are beset with multifarious problems and difficulties it is a veritable truth.
When somebody tells you that things are difficult with you because of the amulets and talisman in your possession and because of the occult books you have been reading, it is nothing but the truth.
8.14 Worship God, any other thing is false
Up till now, a great many people in the world, about ninety nine percent, still fear that there is juju, or apparition, or mermaid; or witchcraft. They still believe in their hearts that these things have power. They still complain of being bewitched, of their being troubled by mermaid, juju and ghosts. If you have any problem, search yourself. It emanates from your not accepting God, glorifying and being thankful to Him.
Bow not to an angel, or to any other thing at all. Only worship Jehovah God and His Christ. In Brotherhood of the Cross and Star we do not worship the star nor the sun nor the moon. God is performing His work. We worship neither the mermaid, nor ghost, nor tree, nor any other creature. We worship Jehovah God and His Christ alone. If you are told that you are filled with demonic spirit, believe not, but if you are told the Spirit of God has overshadowed you, be sure it is true. When it is said that the mermaid is seeking for you or you are being sought for by juju, it is not true. It is God who seeks for all of us; and manifesting Himself in many forms. He wants you to serve Him.
8.15 God is no idol
The time for foolishness has passed. Now is the time to worship God in Spirit and in truth. You have no need for a handkerchief nor staff. Do not arrange stones for worship. Do not use incantations, write no signs and symbols on the floor. Call only on God's name and not any other thing for we have only One God. God is neither idol, nor rock, nor paper, nor toy, no any man-made thing. He is the Almighty God, the source and cause of everything.
God does not want money from us. He wants nothing from us except that we should believe in Him and glorify Him as God. Do not make unto yourself any graven image and call it God. If you do, you will be dealt with such terrible slap by an angel that you will stay for months without recovering.
Brethren, I do not want to be tedious unto you, let our second lesson be read.
Second lesson: Romans 1:21
"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened."
Brethren, have you realised the problem affecting people all over the world? It is said, "because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were they thankful and became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened."
8.16 Angels and men are God's messengers
They give foods to trees and to birds, to four footed beast and all other things because they feel that they are being protected by these things and the like. Tell me why a reasonably prudent person, somebody who professes to know God. should worship a tree. Give me one reason why a living man, somebody who professes the knowledge of God after knowing that God created the fishes in water, the animals in the bush, the trees, the sun, the moon, and all other things, such a person should worship angels.
When John the Divine, had his revelation, he had the intention of worshipping the angel, but the angel rebuked that he should not do it that he was a mere messenger, a co-worker and a brother, but that he should worship God. An angel is a messenger as you are. The animals are messengers as you are. All creatures, whether it is day or night are all messengers as you are. Life and death are messengers of God just as you are.
8.17 We should always be thankful to God
Can you now see your nakedness and folly, that even though you profess to know God, you are not thankful to him and do not glorify Him as God. It is said the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. You have to be thankful unto Him, for life, good health, protection, food. His reign and all the manifestation of His glory because He is the doer of everything. He is the Creator of all mankind, rocks and stones. He gives us food, the air to breathe, reigns over day and night. He does everything. It is our bounding duty therefore, to be unceasingly thankful to Him, glorifying Him always in all things. We have to chant His praises, pray to Him, praising and magnifying His name everywhere we go. This is what He wants us to do.
God has given you a wife, but you turn to give regards to the wife with utter neglect to God. God has given you a husband, but you turn round to sing your husband's praises instead of God's. God has given you little children, but your boast in the children and not in God. God has given you money, and you glorify not God but boast because of the money you have.
It is because of the foolishness that our hearts are darkened. It is what has brought punishment upon the children of men in the world over. We, therefore, have to be thankful to Him for all the good things He has done for us, for He is all-things and is in all things. Be thankful to Him during the day, be thankful to Him during the night; be thankful to Him in the morning and at dawn, glorify and magnify His name. Recognise Him as God and worship Him alone. Do not believe in any other thing. He is the only God in existence, He is the only God and Father.
8.18 God is the only Creator. Protector and Saviour
Educate your children that they should always worship the Almighty God, that He is their Creator. Protector and Saviour. Let them know that you are not the person feeding them but the Almighty God. It is your responsibility to tell your children that mermaid, apparition, concoction or witchcraft do not exist There is only one God in existence.
If I should tell you that all the problems you have in your families, in your homes, in your offices and every where is because of the small tin-gods you are keeping and worshipping your eyes should be opened. .Any time you are beset with problems and difficulties and you are told by a visioner that you should clean your house and make it habitable for the Almighty God, if you obey, all your problems will be instantly eliminated. You may be facing problems and difficulties, yet you possess neither charms nor any diabolical things, but because you believe fervently in your heart that such things do exist, your eyes will be so darkened that you will not be able to differentiate between two things.
8.19 Man is not God
You may have problems only for thinking that man is God. You serve man so that he will love you, you worship and submit to man so that you may receive earthly things. But God owns everything. Man owns nothing. Put your hope in God. Love man because man is your brother and in God’s image. God enjoins you to love man as God loves you. You love God if you love man, but God is not man, and man is not God. Only worship God.
8.20 Take God to yourself and you will conquer
If you believe in God alone, that He is the beginning and the end, how will you then listen to somebody who threatens that he will kill you. Why do you become joyous when somebody tells you that you are going to be made prosperous? Is he God? Why do you profess that you know God and when somebody threatens that he hates you more than he hates satan, you begin to quake and shiver; and begin to be sad and sorrowful? Why should you? Is he God? Anybody who has God, does not mind about somebody's love or hatred or taunting or whatever a person will claim to do to him; because you have a Father who is greater than any other person.
It is for this reason that our Lord Jesus Christ says that if you know the truth, the truth shall set you free. Today you are exasperated and you complain that your children do not take care of you, do not give you what you want. Are they God? You complain that your husband or your wife or brother or sister has deserted you; are they God? If you are divorced or deserted, will you also say that God has deserted you? When the disciples deserted our Lord Jesus Christ, did the Almighty God, the Father forsake Him? Upon the fact that the world rejected and refused Him, did the Father reject Him? It is for this reason that there is spiritual chorus which says, "when you take God to yourself, you will always be conquerous in the war"
8.21 Flee all diabolical things
You lean on trees, on rocks, and on man. That is why the wrath of God is upon you as children of disobedience. Why is it that when you know that you are a child of God and you have an examination to take, you wear amulets around your waist, and carry charms in your pockets? When you are going to your place of work, you hang your talisman around your neck, or somebody gives you some love charms, to rub so that your husband should love you. Have you not seen that you have departed from the path of God?
You who say that you know God, why do you consult oracles or, fortune-tellers? Why do you profess to know God and yet spend sleepless nights building castles in the air? Has he not advised that you should not trouble your minds about tomorrow? He says “cast all your thoughts and all your worries upon “Me, for I care for you”. You profess to know God and yet weep day and night, and at all places; Can you say that you are a true child of God? You profess to know God but you lament and wail at every little situation or occurrence. Is that a person who knows God?
8.22 Love, glorify and magnify your God
Your greatest problem is that you do not glorify God as you should, neither are you thankful to Him. Remove your heart from man and look upon the Almighty God. He is the one who opens and no man shuts, and shuts and no man opens. We have our boasts in Him, we chant His praises, and glorify Him. There is none other except that found in Him. If any person boasts because of his money you should boast because of Jehovah God and His Christ, If somebody boasts because of his wife and children, boast because you have Jehovah God and His Christ If one boasts because he is a chief or prominent person and has concoction, boast because you have Jehovah God and His Christ. Do not boast about yourself, nor about any other person. From this day on, cast all your thoughts and troubles on Him alone. Listen no more to the flesh nor any other person or thing. No other thing exists excepting Him alone. Be exasperated no more, weep no more, do not be fastidious, give Him glory as God, be thankful to Him and chant His praises. Love and believe Him always. Let your hope and faith be in Him, for He has never failed and will not forever forsake you.
8.23 If your enemy hungers, feed him
The word of God says: "It is possible that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!" That is to say as these word have been preached to you, somebody will come to you shaking his head and body that he has vision for you. Let him tell you what vision he has. He will begin to tell you that two people sit and conspire that by next month you will have an accident. Tell him to kneel down and knock his head on the ground and be thankful to God. If you have food, or money give to him and let him go. Leave him alone. Trust in God only and do not fear.
Since you have a Father, you have no worry at all He is the One elevated above all things in the world. Let your trust be in Him and in no other thing. When somebody threatens that he hates you terribly, give him tea to drink, embrace him and if there is food, give to him and do not bother yourself about what he has said. Is he God? You have a Father who is greater than all fathers. If somebody expresses his hatred for you. do not be perturbed. If you have food give to him. Leave him alone because he is dying in his own foolishness.
8.24 Do not engage in wishful thinking
It is said, it is not the man who recommends himself who is worthy but he whom God recommends. Do you think that your wishful thinking is anything to go by? At times your thoughts lead you astray and you start saying that you are going to die or get sick or be impoverished or that God has forsaken you. They are wistful. Since you have refused God your knowledge has so led you astray. Should you accept Him even now, the Father is waiting for you.
We have the Father, the Holy Spirit and the Christ and you are all brethren, the children of God. Stop wondering, for man shall live not by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Many are thinking and contemplating that they are soon to be retired, that they will soon be without jobs. Why are you worried? What about your God? Or have you no God? Can any person who knows God think in this way? You begin to think what shall I eat? What will my children eat? How will I manage? Life is really very hard. My age-mates are above me. They are so many enemies around me. Will you say such person has, or believes in God?
Brethren, I do not want to take you further let our golden text be read.
Golden Text: 1 Corinthians 10:7
"Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them, as it is written: The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”
Brethren, have you heard that? What is referred to as idol? It is something made by man. All talisman, rings, chains, water pots and cooking pots and many other things diabolical. Anything you want to do and you are requested to go and inform a god or spirit, or somebody in the water, all such things are introduced by man. Do them not. When somebody requests that you should give drinks that your grandfather or mother who died so demands, go not forth. Your great grandfather is Jehovah God and His Christ.
8.25 Do not pour libation
It cannot be understood why man is so heady and disobedient. You are told to refrain from pouring libation. To whom do you pour the libation, when you pour wine on the ground and pray. What use does it serve? Is this not an indication of idolatry? You are told not to be an idolater yet you pour wine on the ground. Who drinks the wine you pour? Why should you do it?
Your action proves that you are worshipping that which you do not know. It also reveals that you are overwhelmed with darkness and cannot see your way through. Wherever you go to, inside a hole or in a bush, rise up and pray and give thanks to the Almighty God. He will thus take care of everything. He does not require any other thing. When you want to build a house you are advised that during the foundation ceremony you should slaughter a goat. If you do, you are causing the ruin of the house. When you are told to do any such thing, do not do it because it will tantamount to eating from two tables. When you eat on one table and after move to the next, your fathers did the same and were destroyed by storm. You visit soothsayers. You are seen in the hospital. You are also there when it comes to secret societies. Will you never be mindful of yourself? You come to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and you are also attending Cherubim and Seraphim. You even sacrifice to idols and mermaid in some prayer houses. You do the same when you call at a necromancer's place. I have warned you. Can you not take precautions?
8.26 Do not hide your identity, always be a Brotherhood of the Cross and Star child.
In order to hide their identity as Brotherhood, many people go to such places, with coloured dresses. Always they are requested to provide white basins so that their heads could be washed at twelve midnight. At times some materials are concocted and given to you in a small container. Will you not be mindful of yourself? You are being told not to be idolaters.
Why do you say that you believe in God and when you are given a vision that you are being worried by witch and wizards you believe in such a thing? Why do you believe when somebody gives you vision that you are being worried by mermaid? Yet you say you know and believe in God. Why do you, who profess to believe in God also believe when you are told that your husband or your mother or your neighbour is spiritually worrying you? Why do you believe?
Any person who believes in God does not believe in man or thing. No matter what you say, he will not believe you. When people attribute their dismissal from job to other persons, or their poor state of life to another, such vain and wistful thinking are for unbelievers. Anybody who tells you to put him in prayer that wizards, are worrying him, know that he is of the idolaters.
In actual fact, what I am talking about is, about idol; it is what is non-existent, a lifeless, inanimate, thing. You have heard according to our first lesson that there is no such thing as idol or another God. What then are you wasting your time worshipping when you sacrifice and dance naked, eat things sacrificed to idols and drink and take injections and do other things. Are you demented? Look at the whole world and see how professors, prominent men and millionaires, who claim to know everything have been going about sacrificing, dancing naked. Do you now see the height of foolishness?
8.27 God says “I will not fail you nor forsake you”
They have a common dictum that God helps those who help themselves. How can man help himself in the absence of God? If you forsake God and worship diabolical things, you will be destroyed by God. That is why when a person is inclined to such acts, their hearts will be troubled at the sight of you. From the day you accept God, all your problems are solved. God converses with you, lents your ears unto Him. Listen and look at Him always, tell your stories to Him and believe fervently in Him. You will have no other problems. Your father and mother, wife and children will desert you but God cannot desert you for one step at any moment. Your mother will call you a wonderful child, if you feed and clothe her. When the next day you do not have food to give her, she will rain curses on you that God should punish you. God, in His own case, requires neither your money nor ring. He wants a thankful heart that gives Him glory. He wants you to believe in Him that He is God; He is the Maker of heaven and earth; the Protector and the One who is able to do anything anytime and that there is no other thing in existence apart from Him.
8.28 Let not your hearts be troubled
Trouble not your heart about anything in this life. Think not that your sufferings are caused by man or attributable to any other thing. Believe fervently, that grace and sickness come from God. There is no situation that the Lord cannot take away. There is no difficulty or problem that He cannot take away within a twinkle of an eye. That was why our Lord Jesus Christ told His disciples that what is impossible with man is quite possible with God. If God is with you, who can war against you?
So brethren, right from this night, disturb your minds no longer because all unseeming beliefs have from this night been taken away from your mind. A spiritual song says, "I have a Father, Almighty Father, King of kings, Lord of lords, I have a Father!" The wordings of that song are veritable truth.
8.29 The gift of God is ever with you
From this year, no Brotherhood of the Cross and star child should be a mermaid worshiper or an idolater or believer in witchcraft and should not listen to any such thing. If anybody tells you that he will give you children or enrich you, go not to them. It is only God who can enrich and can also give children.
All these false beliefs are stumbling blocks. They are elements of temptation. As we are thus speaking, when you leave this place, another person will tell you to go on ministry work to somewhere that God has kept a gift for you there. If you go you have failed, because if you go to that place as though to perform the Father's duties and not as though to receive any gift, you are deceiving yourself. Your gift is ever with you and God will give it to you at any time without you having to go to any place. The vision was false and not of God. Believe in God only.
Brethren, I do not want to be tedious unto you It is said a stroke of the cane is sufficient unto the wise. He who has ears let him hear. May God bless His holy words. Amen.
