VERSE 1
Arise children of the kingdom
Arise and sing to your Father
Let not affliction and sorrows
Deter you from praising the Lord.
Refrain
Praise Him Oh ye children of God,
Praise Him today, do not relent,
His eyes are always on the just
As instruments for His own use.
VERSE 2
Misery, want in the world abound
My children shall not these affect
The tribulation now rampant
Shall soon be a thing of the past.
VERSE 3
As Daniel was in lion’s den,
Unharmed at all was he by them
The world can shake thee through the years
She shall never your life destroy.
VERSE 4
Come now and sing to the Father;
Stand fast for He knows all your needs,
And will surely grant you His peace
If you will sing to Him His praise.
Amen
