The disciples sat in silent prayer
Waiting for the pouring of the Holy Spirit
Like a thunder, a voice from heav’n came upon them
Perfect peace.
Refrain
Receive the Holy Spirit, receive the Holy guide
Receive the Holy Spirit from God most high.
VERSE 2

The commandments from the God of heaven, they spoke
They proclaimed the mighty works done by Jesus Christ
Perfect peace.

Delightedly the moved around and displayed joy
All powers in heav’n and earth, in them were conveyed
Perfect peace.
Amen
