VERSE 1
Blessed art Thou, Olumba Obu
From everlasting to everlasting
And blessed be Thy name of glory
That surpasses every blessing and praise.

VERSE 2
We once more proclaim Thy Holy name,
For Thou art a glorious and loving God;
Count as no small thing our misery, Lord,
Maintain Thy covenant and Thy kindness.

VERSE 3
Behold us now enslaved in our land,
Where its rich fruits swell the profit of kings
Whom for our sins, Thou setest on us;
Free us, Lord, now, from their oppressive hands.

VERSE 4
There are those within this Brotherhood,
With the good things Thou lavishest on them,
Let Thy students now have what to show
So as to vindicate Thy promised word.
