Hymn 155

VERSE 1
We thank Thee, maker of the universe,
Marvellous are all Thy works;
By Thy command was the world made manifest
And every thing that in them is.

VERSE 2
We thank Thee, maker of the universe
Who by Thy mercy has come,
To save all the sons of men from destruction
Let thanks and praises be to Thee.

VERSE 3
We thank Thee, maker of the universe
Worthy art Thou of praises
Unto us now, Thou hast Thy presence revealed
Glory and honour be to Thee.

VERSE 4
We thank Thee, maker of the universe,
Behold us Thy chosen flock;
To Thee Lord, we have come, cast us not away
Whom Thou hast redeemed by Thy love.

VERSE 5
We thank Thee, maker of the universe,
Thee the world hath never known,
To all nations, Thy mighty hand stretch forth, Lord
That all Thy flock may one fold be.

Amen
