Hymn 168

VERSE 1
Dear Lord of mercy and love,
Who careth for everything I need
I will sing praises to Thee,
As long as I in Thee do breathe.

VERSE 2
Prostrating before Thy feet,
Dear Lord, I will worship and adore,
For Thou hast taken me out,
By Thy love from the lowest hell.

VERSE 3
Most Holy and glorious God,
Providing daily for all my needs,
Answering all my request,
I will praise Thy name for ever.

VERSE 4
Thou showest Thyself as God,
To him who of Thee is a seeker,
And giveth understanding,
And grace enough for work assigned.

VERSE 5
Wherefore my heart is gladdened,
In Thee too my spirit rejoices,
The maker of heav’n and earth,
Who now with man on earth abides.

VERSE 6
Thy glory the heavens show,
The earth joins to sing praises to Thee,
And louder the anthem swells,
Praising Thy name eternally.
