Hymn 255

VERSE 1
I will extol Thee O! Lord, my God
For Thou hast lifted me above
And hast not made my foes rejoice
I will praise and magnify Thee, Lord.

VERSE 2
Unto Thee O! Lord, my God, I laud,
Indeed, Thou hast healed all my wounds
Thou hast kept me to sing Thy praise
That I should not go into the grave.

VERSE 3
Thou hast turned my sadness into joy,
My sack-cloth changeth for gladness,
My heart, my soul, too, do rejoice,
I will sing of Thy wondrous mercies.

VERSE 4
Ye saints of God, sing unto the Lord
Give thanks before His throne of grace,
The Lord is good, sing unto Him;
Lo! in Him lies all our faith and hope.

Amen
