Hymn 257

VERSE 1
The Lord has come, let all keep silence;
Before Him today, all bow in awe;
Let all creatures give glory to Him;
Sing praises to Him, for He is great.

VERSE 2
He is the King, who reigns forever;
The angels above bow down to Him;
The winds, the storm, hear Him and obey;
What a mighty God here in our midst!

VERSE 3
The world knows not the Holy Spirit
They say He is a great Beelzebub
Still He pities and forgives their sins;
What a merciful God that He is.

Amen
