Hymn 264

VERSE 1
Merciful and compassionate Lord
Who in love created heaven and earth.
All honour and glory are Thine,
All praises be to thee Lord.

VERSE 2
Thou redeemeth me from destruction,
E’en from shame, disgrace and from chastisement,
And from the snare of the devil,
Thou givest me peaceful life.

VERSE 3
I will sing and praise Thee, Olumba,
Freely Thou bestowest all things on me,
Thy kindness, all will I proclaim,
And Thy greatness magnify.

VERSE 4
O! Lord, I have seen Thy glorious work,
Which Thou has done in this generation,
Above all, Thou givest me life,
With abundant graces too.

Amen
