Hymn 340

VERSE 1
Wait on the Lord, of good courage be;
Your hearts, when troubled, the Lord shall strengthen
He shall be your light in darkness, O! Wait.

VERSE 2
Wait on the Lord, discouraged, be not;
Though deepens the night, always He will guide;
When temptation comes, call upon the Lord.

VERSE 3
The Lord is life, the truth and the light,
His loving kindness and tender mercies
Are always for you, wait upon the Lord.

Amen
