Hymn 353

VERSE 1
Jehovah to us has said:
"I’ll show mercy to thousands
Of generations that love,
And are practicing My commands."

VERSE 2
Brethren, be ye not deceived,
None can ever God deceive;
What ever a man soweth;
The same also shall he harvest.

VERSE 3
The blood of prophets of old,
The men of the world did shed,
Men also shall drink their blood,
So the true word of life has said.

VERSE 4
In this age, a single hair,
Of my chosen shall not singe;
All the foes of righteous men
Shall perish in their foolishness.
