VERSE 1
Father, I come to Thee as a sinner
Show me Thy mercies, blot out my transgressions
For I acknowledge my transgressions
And my sins are ever before me.

VERSE 2
And I have done this deed against Thee Lord
And done this evil in Thy sight Almighty
Behold, I swim in iniquity
In sin did my mother conceive me.

VERSE 3
Hide Thy face from my sins my God and King
O! Father, blot out all mine iniquities
Create in me a heart new and clean
Renew a right spirit within me.

VERSE 4
Cast me not from Thy presence, dear Father
Take not Thy Holy Spirit from me, dear Lord
Restore to me Lord, Thy salvation
And uphold me with Thy free spirit.
