Hymn 433

VERSE 1
I will arise and go to my Father
I will say unto Him, Father I have
Sinned against heaven and before Thee, I am no longer
Worthy to be called a true child of Thine.

VERSE 2
I will arise, I will arise and go
I will no longer stay in a strange land
I will plead Him to forgive and give me another chance
He will have mercy and safe me from woe.

VERSE 3
I will arise now and go to my Lord
I will say to Him, evil have I done
I will go to my Father to plead Him for His pardon
Take me as your maid and you be my Lord.

VERSE 4
I will arise, “I will arise and gi”
He is my Father, yes I am His son
He will have mercy upon me, He will not forsake me
I will arise now and go unto Him.

VERSE 5
I will arise and go to Him on knees
I am the lost sheep He will love to see
And I will be among His own sheep, He will love to see
It is not His wish that I should perish.
