Hymn 437

VERSE 1
Come to my help O! Lord
Hasken Thou to my pray’rs
Wash me Lord thoroughly
Cleanse me from my sins
Have mercy upon me
O! Lord hear my pray’rs.

VERSE 2
My sins are before me
Against Thee have I sinned
Purge me, Lord, with hyssop
I beseech Thee, Lord
And I shall be whiter
Even than the snow.

VERSE 3
Lo! I was born in sin
Hide Thy face from my sins
Cast me not from Thy sight;
Hear my pray’r O! God;
Create in me a clean heart
O! God, Thee I need.

VERSE 4
A broken heart in Thee
Lord, is never dispised;
Open Thou, Lord, my lips
To sing Thy praises,
That Thou mayest be pleased;
Hear me while I pray.

Amen
