Hymn 492

VERSE 1
What a good friend is the Lord who is with me!
He protects me and saves me from temptation
Answers me any time that I call on His name,
Olumba the friend of all.

VERSE 2
O! man, come and join the Father’s disciples,
For He calls thee now, do not be so hardened;
His message of peace is for you and me, so come;
Procrastination is vice.

VERSE 3
The Lord is waiting, the weary to grant rest;
Time is running out, therefore do not delay;
Don’t be silent ask Him to carry your burden;
He will surely grant you rest.

VERSE 4
Heed this call now and in His presence appear,
With God works, love, hope, and faithfulness of heart,
Thus you may from the Lord, perfect answers obtain,
In His goodness and His love.

Amen
