Hymn 495

VERSE 1
Spirit of God, comforter divine
Fill us with Thy fullness O! Lord
Brighten our ways beyond confine
Help us to follow Thy treaded path.

VERSE 2
O! fill us with Thy fullness, dear Lord,
Until our very hearts o’er flow
With kindling thoughts and glowing words
Thy love to tell, Thy praises to show.

VERSE 3
Before Thy throne we abide in peace
While in Thy pow’rful hands at rest
Thy saving grace to us release
That we at all the time be our best.

VERSE 4
O! great spirit, always be our guide
That we may never go astray
From worldly cares, keep us aside
And help us to tread Thy narrow way.

Amen
