Hymn 523

VERSE 1
Show me Thy way O! Lord, I Pray
For Thou art the eternal light
When darkness encompasses me
Let Thy light shine on me, Lord.

VERSE 2
I could not seek for Thee O! Lord
Yet through Thy love, Thou hast found me
And led me off, the vale of tears
Lead me through Thy way O! Lord.

VERSE 3
Let filthy - lucre not distract
Or things mundane stand on my way
Thy light and love, Lord, to forsake
For Thou art my Lord and King.

VERSE 4
Thou art my life, my way and guard
Of whom shall I then be afraid?
Let me not depart from Thee, Lord
Always hold me by Thy hand.

Amen
