VERSE 1
I have seen the Comforter
Promised by Jesus, our Lord:
He is here with us today,
Fulfilling the words of Christ.
Refrain
O! Sing and rejoice,
Praise and glorify the Comforter
Now dwelling here on earth.
VERSE 2
The spirit of truth has come,
Fulfilling the words of Christ,
Like a thief, the Lord has come,
Gaze into the sky no more.
VERSE 3
His teachings have confounded
Men and women, young and old:
Brotherhood the School of Love,
Headed by the Comforter.
Amen
