Hymn 557

VERSE 1
Is there amongst you that is afflicted?
Let him, with utmost faith, Pray with hope,
To the Lord and wait with a patient heart,
The Lord of glory will save his life.

VERSE 2
Is there amongst you that joy-fully dwells,
Let him sing praises unto the Lord;
In Him shall the Lord’s blessings all abound,
Boundlessly showered from His dower.

VERSE 3
Is there amongst you any who is sick,
Let him call for the elders to pray;
Let them pray for him and anoint with oil;
The righteous man’s pray’r availeth much.

VERSE 4
Faithfully leave all your problems to Him,
For He is a compassionate Lord,
Whose mercy endureth through all ages,
And He will surely solve your problem.
