    THOU SOUGHT AND FOUND ME IN THE WORLD

    VERSE 1
    Thou sought and found me in the world
    Engulfed in sin and wanton thought;
    Me to save at Thy behest, Thou called,
    And into Thy Kingdom brought

    VERSE 2
    I wandered and laboured for long,
    Seeking for shelter for my soul;
    Thou hast now brought me into Thy fold,
    My fainted soul to console.

    VERSE 3
    With a broken heart, Lord, I come,
    Helpless, dejected and distressed,
    Thou alone hast my fault detected,
    By Thy pardon, Lord, I’m blessed.

    VERSE 4
    I hardly knew before now Lord,
    Thee as the answer to my needs
    Lord, cancel my sins, my life renew,
    Thine to be, I 'm glad indeed.

    VERSE 5
    O! Father bend me to Thy will,
    That I no more from Thee will flee;
    Let Thy truth my daily life support,
    Keep my life in tune with Thine.

    Amen
