Hymn 564

VERSE 1
Fight on Christians as good soldiers of God,
In the midst of temptation and grief,
Onward hopefully move never give up
Vict’ry is yours in the battle field.

Refrain
Fight on in the midst of temptations
Trusting in great Olumba Obu
With strong faith and patience in the struggle,
Vict’ry is yours in the battle field.

VERSE 2
Here and everywhere temptations abound
Bounteous blessings for you God will count;
If you fight and then the victory is won,
A crown of life yours will be for e’er.

VERSE 3
Fear not since you have Olumba Obu,
Sigh no more for He watches o’er you;
For you, them, His strong hand will surely win,
If only you will believe in Him.

VERSE 4
When thou art cursed with thy Lord and Master
Forgiveness for them pray the Father,
Thou wilt be the conqueror of evil,
According to Father’s grace and will.

VERSE 5
Christ our Lord bore His griefs from His childhood,
For our good, all the shameful treatment,
Calmly He bore them all with great patience;
His glory, let’s engrave in our hearts.

Amen
