Hymn 57

VERSE 1
Thou art the Lord of the heavens,
Thou also rulest o'er the earth,
Thou art Lord God almighty,
Now living in our midst.

VERSE 2
The rock of salvation Thou art
To Thy children in Brotherhood;
In human form, Thou cometh,
Ruling the universe.

VERSE 3
Lord, in Thy glory Thou hast come,
Forever and ever to reign;
All Thy works in heav'n and earth,
Sing praises to Thy name.

VERSE 4
O! Lord, accept our thanks and praise,
Dominion, honour and glory,
Which Thy hosts above, below
Are offering unto Thee.

VERSE 5
Unto Thee shall every knee bow,
In reverence and humility;
Even the beasts and the birds
Acknowledge Thy glory.

VERSE 6
Thou art the King, most wonderful,
Thou descendest on earth to dwell,
With a new and sacred name,
He’s Olumba Obu.
