Hymn 583

VERSE 1
A child is born who’ll His people save,
And from bondage redeem the human race,
He’ll forever wash our sins away
And shall free His chosen ones.

VERSE 2
He is a wonderful counsellor,
The Gov’ment is now upon His shoulder,
He is in our midst, author of peace,
King of kings and Lord of lords.

VERSE 3
Glory belongs to the Lord of lords,
And peace be on earth with men of goodwill;
Let us sing praises to the Father,
For His graces unto us.

Amen
