Hymn 587

VERSE 1
A voice from the throne of the Lord is heard,
Also shouts of joy and jubilation,
As the Redeemer who is our Lord Jesus
Is born in Judea, Bethlehem.

VERSE 2
Glory be to the Almighty Father,
Glory be to God in highest heaven,
Glory be to God, the omnipotent Lord,
And on earth, peace be to all men.

VERSE 3
Good tidings, Angels brought to the shepherd,
Hasten to the stable in the manger,
A bright star appeared to signify the birth,
Leading the wise men to the Child.

VERSE 4
The light cometh now, there is a great joy;
As heaven rejoices, let earth sing praise;
The King of glory is born into the world,
In the nature of man as Love.

Amen
