Hymn 83

VERSE 1
The great shepherd is now on earth
To lead and to protect His flock;
He is clad in scarlet robe,
Which is seen as dipped in blood.

VERSE 2
His sheep, He knows them all by name;
Where e'er they are, He is with them;
On the heights and in the depths
He is there to guard and guide;

VERSE 3
The good shepherd is now on earth;
He is the rock, on which we stand,
Our great shelter from the heat
Umbrella on rainy days.

VERSE 4
Into the way of truth ,He leads
He leads unto eternal life,
Righteousness and Holiness;
He is before and behind

VERSE 5
The sheep of God throughout the world
Scattered, Christ draws them to Himself,
So that there will be one flock
Since He's the only shepherd.

Amen
