VERSE 1
The night He was betrayed,
The Son of man took bread.
And offered thanks to God,
To His disciples broke.

VERSE 2
I am the Living bread,
Descending from on high,
Whosoever eateth
Of it will never die.

VERSE 3
It is My flesh and blood,
I give for your dear sake,
A new covenant of
My blood for sinners shed.

VERSE 4
‘Tis My new commandment,
One another, ye love,
You must do this always,
In remembrance of Me.
