Hymn 864

VERSE 1
Praise be Thy name, Lord, for Thy kindness
To Thy people all over the earth;
Thou hast made us to see this new day;
Lead us safely, where'er we may tread.

VERSE 2
In this new day, Lord, help us to love
One another and bear their burden;
As we pass from night to day, O! Lord,
Be Thou pleased to lead us to the end.

VERSE 3
Most gracious and compassionate Lord,
Be merciful unto Thy children,
That our service throughout this new day,
May be pleasing unto Thee, O! God.

Amen
