Hymn 866

VERSE 1
In this new and gracious day
Father we need Thy mercy
As we thread the paths of life
Be Thou our guide and strength O! Lord.

VERSE 2
Let this new and glorious day
Bring forth good tidings of joy
Seeds of love, in us implant
That we indeed, will dwell in peace.

VERSE 3
Let Thy grace in us abound
That we will not from Thee stray
Let Thy dew of peace descend
That all we’ll do may please Thee Lord.

Amen
