Hymn 915

VERSE 1
Lo! In this hour of darkness,
Gracious Lord, protect us;
With Thee, good Father may we sleep
Until the dawn of day.

VERSE 2
Lo! In this hour of darkness,
May Thy Holy Spirit,
The soul of Thy chosen, protect,
Until the break of day.

VERSE 3
Life is in no yet other,
Except in Thee, O! Lord,
Thou the help for the contrite hearts
The Lord of peace and love.

VERSE 4
May we have a peaceful night
In the night full of fears:
Let Thy angels our souls protect
Until the break of day.

Amen
