Hymn 939

VERSE 1
In Thy careful hand,Lord
Let us sleep Safely
Till the dawn of new day
Draw us unto Thyself

VERSE 2
Guide us as we sleep Lord,
From arrow of death,
Conquer pow’r of darkness
As we sleep in Thy hand.

VERSE 3
Let us feel Thy presence,
Cast away terror,
Grant us a peaceful sleep
O! Lord, we beseech Thee.

VERSE 4
Filter the air we breath,
Take away all dirts,
To all the things that creep,
O! Lord we be not harmed.

VERSE 5
We surrender our lives,
Take dominion, Lord,
Over us as we lie,
Till the dawn of new day.

Amen
