Hymn 989

VERSE 1
In keeping with Thy promise, Father
Let Christ students whom Thou didst call
From youth to proclaim Thy Holy name
Be made to manifest Thy glory.

VERSE 2
When Thy Holy name was first proclaimed
The supreme name of all the names
The world did shake from pillar to post.
As we revealed Thee Lord, Olumba.

VERSE 3
The Christ Students of the Holy one,
Are favoured seers of our God
To whom the Lord first revealed Himself,
That is human form, He comes to reign.

VERSE 4
Blest are they through all generations
Who hear the redemption’s tidings
The stone which the builders rejected
Is now the head stone of the corner.

Amen
