Hymn 99

VERSE 1
Thou comest to the world of men,
Victorious over death and hell;
All nations learning of Thy glory,
Have come to worship Thee.

VERSE 2
No more sorrow, and woe, or pain,
No more waging of war again,
Troubles and quarrels have ended all,
The Prince of peace is here.

VERSE 3
For long, the prophets did tell of
The coming of Almighty God,
To teach this very generation,
One another, to love.

VERSE 4
Let the faithful kneel and adore,
Giving glory to the Father,
For He alone is the righteous King,
Who reigns for ever more.

Amen
