THE LORD THAT ONCE BORE A CROWN OF THORNS

    VERSE 1
The Lord that once bore a crown of thorns,
    How sad and so distressed,
Bearing shame and agony on the cross,
    Is crowned with glory now.

    VERSE 2
His tongue is like a two edged sword,
    Slaying the sinful world;
All eyes behold the glory of the Lord,
    Who rules with iron rod.

    VERSE 3
He, with His heavenly army comes,
    To rule with iron rod,
Following the Lamb of God where He goes,

    VERSE 4
A hidden name written on His thigh
    And on His raiment, reads,
"King of kings and Lord of the universe"
    All bow at His behest.

    Amen
