Hymn 14

VERSE 1
He comes to dwell among men on earth
With His new name known to His chosen
The name which makes blasphemers confounded
‘Cos He is not comprehended.


VERSE 2
I thank Him who has hidden these things
To the wise and prudent of this world,
But reveals the mystery of His Kingdom
To us and His faithful children.

VERSE 3
To save the world, the Lord did send Noah
The ark of salvation to prepare,
But the world mocked and His mission made mean,
With great flood, their lives were destroyed.

VERSE 4
As happened then in the days gone by,
When our Lord Jesus Christ was on earth,
Unacceptable was He before men,
Purely ‘cause they did not believe.

VERSE 5
We thank Thee Lord in this new era,
For manifesting Thyself to us,
Let the world rejoice in great Olumba,
Who is now dwelling amongst men.
